Today, I did my FIRST EVER BRAZILIAN WAX!! **GASP** IT WAS AMAZING!  Well, the waxing part stung a bit...but I have tattoos and went through 30-hours of unmedicated labor, so, this wasn't as bad as I had imagined. (Not saying you have to have those things to be able to tolerate a Brazilian wax, but that's how I psyched myself up for it). My appointment was at 8:45 this morning. She was there already so I didn't have to wait. She greeted me and then left the room so I could get undressed from the waist down (privacy, for this? Yes, thank you very much!) She already knew how apprehensive I was and how nervous this unknown was to me. She literary walked me through each step she was doing! She kept me talking...and not mindless babble, but really engaging conversation. I didn't have to strike an awkward pose - like the cannonball (knees to chest), the frog (soles of feet together and knees open wide), and I certainly didn't have to go face down, ass up! And she went over what to expect, what to do and what not to do, and extensive after care. There was no time to keep one side covered while she did the other side - she worked both sides so easily! So, when the right side was done, she just had me change my leg positions! (The position I was in was on my back, if left leg was straight, my right leg was bent to make a figure 4, and vice versa.) And for the back end, all I did was lie on my stomach. I didn't feel self-conscious, overwhelmed, or exposed at all. I even bought these little bottles of aftercare stuff, called Love My Muff! She uses them so she was able to explain their purpose to me. Oh, and when talking about those areas, she never made it crude or uncomfortable, just matter-of-fact. Before I end, let me tell you, she has the best music! So, with all that said, I highly recommend Sweet Vanity waxing.

I sent you a video/pics and asked for my medical records just days after this happened and you IGNORED ME. You did not respond via text and never called. I waited 4 months before seeking additional treatment elsewhere. Im just supposed to live like that? And because I finally sought help, this is my fault? The medical gaslighting is abhorrent. (See original review) Within days of the hyaluronidase injection, my face had lost considerable volume and I had extreme laxity. Yes, hyaluronidase is "commonly used" But first of all: you are using it OFF LABEL. That's 100% fact. And even though it does work on occasion for fillers, it should only be used in emergencies and by someone who knows what they are doing. Secondly, you were supposed to administer it with lidocaine which you didn't. That's why my face was on fire all night... It hurt so bad and that is what made me look into the product. At that point, I decided I didn't want more even though a nurse there suggested it. I texted her and said I went down a rabbit hole and I'm just going to live with the lumps left by the filler. Though in the back of my mind, I thought nothing bad was going happen to me but I also wasn't going to chance it by getting more. BOY WAS I WRONG. Y'all ruined my face and impacted my life for almost a year now. Thirdly: you are supposed to dilute it. You didn't do that. You injected full strength hyaluronidase into my face after using the wrong filler for that area and to this day you have no idea how much you injected into me. If you continue to blame me, I swear to God, I will have signs made, and I will stand outside your building. What you did might've been a mistake (one that should have happened- it was negligent at best) but how you're handling it now and since - is absolutely disgusting. The way that what should've been such a small thing has affected my life- You will never understand because you are too busy blaming me. You never ever tried to help me. You guys ignored me- so I figured I was on my own and now I'm also being blamed for going somewhere to get it fixed. UNREAL. I sent you videos and pictures on May 27 2023. The day prior I requested my medical records-- I was IGNORED for both. This was within days of the incident. I didn't reach back out to you until February 20, 2024 when doctors wanted to see exactly what you did. At that time you responded with a piece of paper that I'm pretty sure you filled out the day I asked. To misrepresent in your response to my original review that I waited until February 2024 to address my concerns or ask for my records is a blatant lie. But even if I had, to avoid conflict, it doesn't change what happened. But I 100% reached out to you guys several times and was ignored. Update: Google reinstated both reviews. And good for them. What is the point of having a review system if it can be manipulated. To add I have no evidence that they flagged/reported the reviews until they were removed but I can't think of who else would? Both were very friendly, informative and I felt really positive about getting treatments there. Second visit I made was an appointment for filler & Botox. I was told that Martha would have enough time to do this. I arrived 15 minutes early. I was told that I had to fill out a questionnaire/release form on Martha's laptop that wasn't working/problems getting the forms to load. Clock is ticking... That day I felt that Martha was rushing and I started to think that I should only do the Botox which doesn't take as long. But I was disappointed that she said she didn't have time to do both-especially when I was told she would. I live 40 minutes away from Melange, so I wanted to make it work! Martha left at one point and discussed the issue with Cheryl and continued to come in and out of another office to try and figure out the issues with the forms. Clock is ticking... Left a bit frustrated especially since these treatments are very expensive, and you have to have several of them to get the desired results. Martha was obviously a bit stressed and wasn't as "warm" as she was during my first treatment. Left hoping next time would be a better one... Third visit I was still missing that welcoming attitude I received from my first treatment. I had done nothing to warrant this. Didn't cancel any appointments last minute, show up late, or come in grumpy, complaining or having an attitude about my previous treatments. I left them with my treated Botox areas slightly bleeding in so many spots unlike my first visit when I only had one tiny shot spot. Not good.* The filler was the worst part. I've had it before, so I knew what to expect. Martha told me to press down on the filled lines with a q-tip until they went down. WHAT??? Never heard of any one, let alone in my previous experience at another spa having to do that. Two months had passed and still bumpy areas where filler was injected. I reached out to Martha about this and she suggested once again to continue to press down on the lumps with a Q-tip. Now it's been at least another month and they have gone down about 50%, I pressed on them almost every day, but now they look like scars. I showed another nurse who works for a plastic surgeon I was having a consult with. She looked at my face and recommended that I don't go back to Melange, saying that the treatment wasn't done well. ( I called Martha "doctor" once and she quickly corrected me saying "Nurse", which I had no problem with). I spent over $4,000.00 for services and products at Melange and all I have to show for it is a bad filler job. I won't be going back again. *In their defense, I wasn't able to keep up with the Botox injections as recommended because of health issues, surgery, etc. Regardless, there's no justification for the poor results where the fillers are concerned. Those are a one-time treatment, at least for almost a year. I'm just thankful that fillers aren't permanent! Based on other reviews I read researching where to go, I was expecting so much more...
