Unprofessional, impersonal, damaged my hair and always 15 minutes late or forgot my appointments!!! .Had extentions done and the person who did my hair didn't talk to me but talked to her "best friend" next to her who's also a hairstylist the whole time. I felt so awkward. Every time the extentions were placed in they were never aligned and the corners would be sticky and sticking out and cause them to fall out within a month. Then when she's taking my extentions out, she's laterally RIPPING my hair out! She takes the combs metal stick and is ripping it into the extentions and yanking it off. Like seriously?? It hurt so bad and she said it's normal. So impersonal and my hair is damaged. Plus when I asked for a trim around the face she CHOPPED me and the extensions so now my hair is so much shorter in the front than the back. Anyone else I've gotten extensions from has slipped them right of but no she was holding my head and yanking them off. Maybe it's cause her mom owns the studio she doesn't have to be professional because her job is secure but come on... never going back. read more

This place is amazing! If you want some amazing people to work on your hair go here! It's not pretentious or anything everyone is down to earth and really nice and they did an awesome job on my hair! I made a mess out of my hair during lockdown and Chelsea fixed it to exactly what I wanted, listened to me, no judgement about the mess on my head, and even ordered me a beverage! What a horrible experience. I scheduled with Casey- the first pic is what my hair use to look like- the following pics are of my over processed hair that now is orange and feels like straw. I told her immediately I didn't like the outcome and she told me to come back next day. Meghan Hodgson is a hair magician! I've been going to her close to 3 years now and will not even consider anyone else. For any girl (or guy) that actually cares about their hair, finding a quality hair stylist is a challenge. Nay, a battle even. I've had my hair stripped with bleach, ugly-cry-worthy haircuts, you-get-what-you-pay-for results and everything else. Meghan took away the horror. Haha All jokes aside, she is incredibly talented. I went here recently because I was in town for a wedding and needed to sharpen up my hair. The hair dresser did a good job; however, my experience there wasn't the greatest. It seemed as though they were trying to leave and get out as quickly as possible and I know it probably wasn't their best work. For one, they dropped and broke their clippers mid-cut. They started vaping mid-cut in which I don't mind; however, not a good look for a first impression and completely unprofessional. When the hairdresser was about to take off my cape, they went out of their way to dust off certain areas which made me feel uncomfortable. Like why couldn't you just take off the cape? I didn't ask for a haircut AND second base. If you're going to do so, at least offer to take me out to dinner or something. Lastly, the place where they take you to wash your hair was really uncomfortable on my neck, but the head massage was really good. Although my experience there wasn't the greatest, that doesn't mean the entire salon is terrible. read more

They really work with eachother like family in this shop making sure all clients get the best service I got beautiful highlights but didn't know how rough bleach can be on hair which is why the Brazilian blowout service they provide really helps strengthen your hair. Tried out this cute boutique a couple months ago. Got a hair cuts from Rebecca. Omg! This cute little boutique located on the Main Street of Lakeside is amazing! I have been looking for my "go to" place and I think I found it! Rebecca was very attentive to what I wanted done. I was chopping my hair and going short. She did an amazing job!! At first I felt it was a bit shorter than I envisioned but hairstylist isn't my profession so I sat back and let her do her thing. But honestly I always find pictures of what I want and I never look like the models in them so I know I won't look like them nor will my hair be the same thickness or style. I'm so glad I had Rebecca cut my hair and trusted her. Because it was shorter (than I expected) but it looked amazing!!!!! I'm so glad I trusted her expertise! As we should should as a client. It's been 2 months and the length has grown to where I was expecting and honestly it looks equally great as I did when I left that night after my cut. Her hair cut skills is on point! I'll be returning to Rebecca for a trim in the future because the way she cut my hair and layered it I can still style and enjoy! (Because I've been to places when after the hair grows out a little it looks like a mess because they didn't layer it right) I'm sure everyone at that place are all equally talented but I'm so glad I got referred to Rebecca from the owner. ***covid review**** They keep everything clean and Rebecca wore her mask the whole time. This place is really cute and people are awesome! I had a good experience until my 3rd visit for a olaplex treatment. The stylist didn't do a full/correct olaplex treatment but maybe she did a deep Conditioning treatment. I have gotten many olaplex treatments before and this one was not one. She wash my hair first and then put something in it to sit in for 3-5 minutes and then rinsed it. that was it. There was no step 1 wait 5-10 min or even step 2 then wash. I didn't Say anything because I was kinda new and felt like I didn't want to question her and get a horrible blow dry. The stylist shortcutted me and didn't provide a full service. Not sure if it was because I paid only $40 for the olaplex service but I didn't feel great after this appointment. However I did appreciate the positive vibes at this place. sometimes the saying is true "you get what you pay for." read more

What a great salon, I feel so blessed to have found someone who can zip zip zip through my hair in no time. I was lucky to have even been seen the day I came in, but for the grace of the ladies there... ... I had some how crossed wires when scheduling & misunderstood the appointment time & date but magic happened. Kindness happened, people working together definitely happened and it was beautiful. Much to her surprise when another client (me) walks in the door and another is due to arrive any min. Well she did, and those of us in the waiting area were chatting & having fun and it was looking like I was going to have reschedule; which would have been ok. She asked me if I lived around there & I told her I lived in PB and her established client & her were both so super sweet & I got my quick trim. Not only did Ginger go out of her way but so did her other clients, how rad is that? You don't get that ANYWHERE EVER! Had I gone to a salon by my house & that happened I would have been turned away. The owner, Ginger squeezed me in with Rebecca on very short notice. I was new to the area and wanted a lob. I didnt know it until Rebecca confidently cut my hair but apparently that is a very technical cut. She was professional and did a fantastic job on the cut. I love it. Also one thing definitely worth mentioning is that her fingers are so strong! She gave a great head massage during the wash. The salon itself had a homey feel. It was clean and simple. I will say that everyone was more chatty then I expected but thats nice at times. Im glad I had Rebecca because she honestly didnt talk much which is perfect because I was there to relax. The prices were competitive but slightly higher than I think I would value the services at considering the location. I look forward to going back to Reflections again. read more

Casey was absolutely amazing! I called to ask about hours, and she got me in the same day! Even after work! Good luck finding a stylist you can go to after 6:00! I was even given some moscato, and it was delicious! I got a conditioning treatment, a trim, and blow dry with style, and she nailed it! I was so afraid of cutting my hair, but the ends were very dead, so she took off as little as possible while making my hair healthy again. She gave me some good tips for ny changing hair, and how to keep it healthy. Casey is sweet, beautiful, and really considerate. The salon is small and very cute!
