Few things to say about this place. I've been coming here for a little over 3 years, and during that time period, I went thru 3 wax specialists due to the nature of them leaving the establishment. Don't let the owner or the the manager fool you by saying they went off to school, which is not true, and I know for a fact. Also, the services are inconsistent. All wax girls they say are trained the same. However they might be trained the same, but some aren't good at their job. And I can attest first hand to that by having to come back after the fact. It's very frustrating. Let's talk about the receptionists and poor customer service. They can only seem to hire 18 to 21-year-olds. And that's unfortunate, because, at that age, they still have not mastered the success of customer service, and I have also learned that first-hand by being hung app on by being transferred to the wrong person by being scheduled wrong. By being charged wrong. The atmosphere is very dramatic. A lot of girls don't get along with each other.A lot of them have a lot of excesses drama going on and they talk to their clients about it. Unprofessional. Whoever owns this place needs to get it together. Needs to take a couple classes on customer service. They need to take a couple classes on how to financially gain your business and how to promote your business. I wish you luck cause you're gonna need it. read more

The wax person took a chunk out of my daughters eyebrow! She was sloppy and rushed my daughter out of her wax room. You can clearly see in the pictures. My daughter has always gotten her eyebrows waxed with just a slight clean up, she has a natural, beautiful shape. read more

Love European wax center however a few times at this location I've had disappointing experiences. I was booked with one girl who wasn't laying the wax in the right direction. She was doing it against the direction of the hair and it was breaking the hair so that my legs were prickly. The next time I came I tried to request someone else but I ended up getting the same girl and she did the same thing with the wax and left me with sand paper legs. A real bummer and waste of $$$ I drive to San Diego now to get waxed. read more

I had an event I was attending and wanted to look my best. My eyebrows desperately needed some TLC! I originally had an appointment with another company but had a dispute with them so I needed to find another place last minute. I called this location to see if there were any availability for an eyebrow wax on the same day. The girl over the phone was very nice and let me know there was availability. I was so happy! I arrived and just filled out a slip with some info. Yudira did my eyebrows. She was so nice and did a fantastic job! No pain and did exactly what I wanted. The service here is awful. Last time I booked an appointment at 9am, and sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before i had to leave. I had to reschedule my appointment. Today when I went the person who checked me out asked if i wanted to schedule in the next 4 weeks, at the same time. Never confirmed a date with me nor did she confirm the services. I CANNOT. Came in for bikini line and full butt wax recently. When I left, my bikini line wax was crooked and she might as well not have waxed my a-word at all because sooooo much was missed. I went back about three days later for a free "touch-up," and although the other girl got most of the remaining hair, she still missed a huge strip in the butt area. I bought a package and everything, so I'm honestly insanely disappointed that they can't get it right. I just had the most pleasant experience with Selena. She was quick, efficient, and able to multi-task between waxing my brows and underarms while chatting with me. She deserved the $20 tip and this praise on Yelp. If I could solely rate my experience with her I would have given 5 stars. I understand businesses are struggling to find employees who actually want a job in today's world but when you're client facing it's a must. I'm rating my experience based off my encounter when paying with the receptionist. She wasn't friendly, her cell phone never left her hand, I had to ask her for a receipt, and I can only assume she doesn't play well with others in the workplace. I wanted to renew my wax pass but it definitely wasn't with her. Unfortunately you can only purchase those in person. I took a look in the mirror after a long hard couple of years with the pandemic and realized that my eyebrows desperately needed some wax and TLC. I searched online for a handful of places and found this location. Using the online website was incredibly easy and I didn't choose any particular person to help me just anyone. Luckily I got Brianna who was incredibly professional, patient, and gentle. She was understanding about my skin and eyebrow needs and even laughed at my awful nervous jokes. When I reviewed this location last year I gave it 2 stars. I had a horrible experience. A service that should have taken 20 minutes took an hour. The girl seemed very inexperienced and clueless. I left in pain! A few months later I decided to give it another go because I didn't realize this location had just opened up. So I figured the girl I got was just a fluke. Well I was right because since then every time I go it seems like each girl gets better and better! And I like each and every girl! I feel safe and comfortable each time I'm there. The girls are always super friendly and quick! I'm in and out in 20 mins. 2nd visit on 8/4/12 Ask for Alaena! She will take really good care of you. Today was my second visit, my first visit was three weeks ago. Alaena is very nice and explains things thoroughly. I was very weary at first since it has been awhile since I've found a good/reliable and clean place for a bikini wax. I was very comfortable and she did an EXCELLENT job, paying attention to detail and not rushing through. This is the only place I go to get waxed. They're very professional, they keep things very sanitary, and I like the breathing technique that they have you do so it isn't as painful. My only complaint is sometimes it is a little too cold in there, but when I mentioned it, the girl said that it was a hot day outside and so many of their customers were complaining so they just turned up the AC. First time getting waxed. Went for the underarms to "feel it out" before diving right into a bigger area. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I was very worried about the pain and how my skin would react to the process. Can't say it isn't painful, because it is. I don't think I could handle certain areas, unless I used a numbing cream to help take the edge off. I could see how the Brazilian or bikini area could be brutal. But overall, I had a good experience. The receptionist was very friendly, and Danielle was very professional and quick. You could tell that Danielle did it as fast as possible and made sure to cause the least amount of pain. Depending on how my skin reacts, I may continue doing the underarms. At this point, I'm not brave enough to venture to other areas. If anyone can recommend a good numbing cream they use for Brazilian/bikini that would be helpful. read more

Honestly the best place to get a waxing the price may be a little high but it is all worth it. They care about your face and skin, putting these products so none of the waxing things they put on you harm the skin. She gave me some important tips and I scheduled a touch up within a few days. I met with her again and she was pleasant, professional, and fast. I love the ladies here at EWC. Everyone from the front desk to the wax specialists are always so warm and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. I purchased one of their packages and used to see Ashley on the regular but she has since left and I saw Shayla for the first time today. She is amazing. Friendly and totally helps make the awkward experience of getting a Brazilian more bearable with her sunny disposition. Not to mention, she is incredibly thorough and that is the most important part for me. Shayla takes her time to get the job done right & for that I'm grateful. I know some people want this service done quick and to just get the whole thing over with and I totally understand that. I would as well however, if I am spending the money and going through the uncomfortable experience of getting this type of service, I want to make sure that a complete job was done. This place is no frills so don't expect a spa-like atmosphere, however if you want a friendly and accommodating environment you'll find it here.
