I was in the middle of their Acne Bootcamp treatment, which I had already spent hundreds of dollars on, when they suddenly decided they would no longer provide me with services. I am a high school student who balances school, work, and other activities, so my schedule can change unexpectedly. Every time I needed to reschedule, I communicated with them and worked around their availability. I also paid the 50% cancellation fee every time I was charged without arguing or complaining about their policy. What is especially frustrating is that they were completely willing to continue taking my money and rescheduling my appointments, but once my schedule became inconvenient for them, they decided I was no longer a "good fit." I understand that cancellations, even when communicated with a reason, can be frustrating for a business. However, that does not change the fact that I consistently paid the fees they charged me and communicated with them whenever I needed to reschedule. What makes this even worse is that they stopped my Acne Bootcamp treatment in the middle of the process. I had already contacted them previously because I was concerned about my skin getting worse and sent them pictures asking if what I was experiencing was normal. I was told that it looked like purging and that it was normal, and I continued following the treatment and home-care routine as instructed. After everything I had already invested into the treatment, to suddenly be told that they would no longer schedule me was extremely disappointing and honestly felt very unprofessional. If they had concerns about my appointments, they could have communicated that with me instead of continuing to schedule me and then abruptly ending my treatment. I have school. I have work. I have other responsibilities. I should not have to have a completely open schedule in order to be treated with respect as a paying customer. I would not recommend this spa. I would strongly encourage anyone considering spending hundreds of dollars on a treatment here to think twice. Being halfway through a treatment and then having the service abruptly discontinued is not the experience I expected as a paying customer.

The treatment area was super cute...and I was able to relax right from the start with Erica's friendly nature and the studio's calming vibes. She had me pick an essential oil that she was going to use during the treatment. That was a fun little addition as I'm a big fan of essential oils, aromatherapy, and holistic skincare products. So before the treatment even started, I knew my skin would be in good hands I'm very familiar with facial massages and I think they're very beneficial for circulation, improving lymphatic flow, relieving muscle tension etc. It's one of my favorite parts of a facial. However, I've never had a buccal massage...where you open your mouth wide and they massage inside! This really relaxes and sculpts your jaw line, inside of cheeks, lips. etc. It might sound a little weird, but trust me...it felt AH-MAZING! I'm in sales...and I have to talk A LOT for my job. I didn't realize how tense my facial muscles were until they were in such a relaxed state. The whole experience was such a treat...from the multiple massages (including a foot massage...yes please!) to the high-end holistic/all natural skincare products used at Apotheke. After the treatment, Erica took a before/after photo to show me the results and I was shocked! I knew I felt incredible, but I wasn't prepared to see how dramatic the results were after just one facial. Phew! Glow Advanced Skin and Body Care is located on Hancock in Murrieta, which is a big street. It's behind a pet clinic, in a 3-story building. You walk into the lobby, up the elevator to the 2nd floor and exit to the right. When you walk in it immediately has a peaceful vibe. GLOW is by appointment only so it's nice and quiet. I was asked to fill out an intake form and then Lauren came out to greet me. I was taken to the facial room and took a seat to chat with Lauren. She asked questions to get to know me, what my expectations are and what she could offer. She's holistic by nature and that's what spoke to me the most. I was then asked to change into a towel wrap, showed where to put my stuff and then asked to get onto the facial bed. The initial appointment took about 2 hours from walking in the door to getting back into my car. I appreciated that Lauren took her time. I also liked that she wasn't too chatty during the facial itself. Whenever I'd ask her a question she'd answer and add some good tips. Ultimately, I really wanted to relax to enjoy the experience. I ended up purchasing some Sanitas Skincare items she recommended. Then we made my appointment for 6 weeks out. I'm trusting with Lauren's help and following her lead with the products I'll now use on my face I'll have the results I've been hoping for! I'm all in and excited to try Lauren's method. She was so nice and I can tell she's an expert in her field. She wasn't pushy at all, which was refreshing and I could tell she was honestly trying to help me.
