I loved angelica so much it had been 2 years since i had a wax and she made it feel so better the experience overall was amazing. She applied pressure to i wouldn't feel any pain after every rip of wax and thats the best to have no pain during a wax. It went by very quickly 10 minutes tops! Yes I waited until I was 30 to get a professional wax, and I'm kind of mad that I waited so long, but I'm so happy that I pulled the trigger and went to EWC! I've seen Gabby and Maddie both twice now, and they're both so amazing and genuinely nice women. They were patient with me and talked through everything step by step, which I appreciated. I literally haven't ever had smoother underarms or bikini/Brazilian area (I'm not sure if Yelp flags anatomically correct language). They recommended products that would minimize ingrowns and exfoliate for future visits and I love them. Idk if they really work because I haven't been using them very long, but they smell good and feel good and that's cool with me. I literally can't stop touching my skin when I leave EWC! read more

My most recent experience with this place wasn't very good which is disappointing because I've had great experiences previously with Brianna. I regret not requesting Brianna again. She was very sweet to me and talkative and kept me comfortable the entire time. My waxer today was silent and I told her I had not waxed (full bikini) in a year because of covid and that was the only communication she had with me. She didn't explain much at all, didn't ask if the wax was too warm (which it was but I was afraid to say because she seemed like she was in a hurry) and she didn't remove all the wax which resulted in a few patchy spots I'll have to fix. I'll admit I was jumpy and apologized, but I felt very rushed and uncomfortable the entire time and it was overall an awkward and unpleasant experience. I will make sure to request another waxer next time who is more attentive and engaging. read more

They are ALWAYS running behind. I plan my appointments between patients or during my lunch breaks, and there are times they're running 10-15 minutes behind and I have to choose to either reschedule and drive back another day, or to be late getting back to work. Update: Clarissa from the Waco center called me this morning to apologize for my poor experience. She credited me for the service and explained the situation they are having with the company's new reservation/call center. She also stated she spoke with my waxing specialist, who was unaware of what happened and very apologetic when she found out. I have been waxed by her many times over the past year with no issues. I will not list her name or fault her, as I used to wax myself and I understand that area can be unpredictable especially if it is dry. I'm of course not happy that my skin was torn, but my complaint and irritation is mostly with the call center and customer service received by the call center. If I had been met with the same concern and apology I was given by Clarissa when I called the first time to complain, I wouldn't have felt the need to post a 1-star review. She gave me her direct email so that I have a way to contact the shop if I have any other concerns. This is the customer service I am used to at EWC. Get rid of the call center. Customers need to be able to contact the shop they visited when they call, not speak to a random person, who doesn't seem to care about your issue, then wait a whole week for a call back. read more

The wax I had was great. But the communication within this company is terrible. I booked for a wax a month in advance at the Temple location. A week before my appointment they called me to tell me that specialist was no longer with the company. Then to find out they were completely booked out another 2 weeks when we were going on vacation right after I booked my initial appointment. I called the Waco location and booked an appointment that got cancelled 2 days prior to the wax because they said they had "difficulty getting people to come to work". I tried to rebook in Waco and they told me they were also booked out and could not reschedule me for another month. I then scheduled in Georgetown (1 hour away from me) only to get a call from the Waco location to tell me that I no-showed them and they had moved me to a different specialist. read more

Upon walking in my daughter and I were greeted. We were informed on specials and products. Then we were called back. I didn't immediately write a review. I waited to go a few times to give the most accurate review. We had a coupe of different waters and will say definitely that Toi and Julie are the absolute best. My personal best is Julie. She is super informative, knows her stuff and talks you through. To management: please don't lose Julie. Overall I like being able to walk in, call or make reservations via the app. Great prices and love the privacy. Didn't like the cold room but I'm always cold so don't listen to me on this last thing. I normally go to the Temple location, but decided to come to Waco today. I had been to this location before and always had a positive experience and today was no different. I booked on the app with no preferred waxer. From the time I arrived until leaving I was greeted and treated with respect and friendliness. I got a bikini full with Ashley and it was like we were friends. Although I've been waxing for 3yrs or so, I had gotten off my schedule. I informed Ashley of this and she was very understanding and informative about what to expect and what I needed to do to get back on track. She was very thorough and efficient. I will now be making the drive to Waco to get my wax with her. It's really difficult to find a person that is thorough and efficient with bikini waxing. i've been to different european wax centers before and they have been pretty consistent, but this one ruined my eyebrows. i have a pretty established shape and just wanted them cleaned up, and the provider i had somehow was able to completely reshape them. when i checked out i declined trying to schedule a follow up appointment and said i would just do it through the app, and they said the app was inconsistent and did not work... yet i had just used the app for the appointment i was just at. i really don't like shitting on places, but i would never go back there and don't want anyone else to. read more

However, she was sick and I had to reschedule with Scotty, which I now believe was a mistake. 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, Scotty is still with her previous client. Not sure why they have a late policy if it's clearly not followed, or a scheduling system if it is irrelevant, as well. After realizing that there would not be an end to my waiting any time soon, having run into the following 3 appointments, I have since left and rescheduled. Finally Waco has its very own European Wax Center! The staff at this location provide such great customer service. My wax session with Madison was excellent! We laughed and talked as she performed a Brazilian wax on me, and I was incredibly comfortable the entire time. I've been to other places and had waxers that were so rough! Not Madison. She was gentle, and I only experienced the tiniest bit of discomfort, which is expected. I definitely recommend reserving your own session with Madison!! read more

I got a bikini wax for the first time at EWC. I generally like to keep the area clean in the summers as I workout a lot and don't like to have much hair on my body ( it does not mix well with sweat). The staff was so nice and helpful. They really do pride themselves in making sure you are educated about proper growth and maintenance. It does not feel like they are trying to just make money. The first time I showed up I was sent home because they didn't think I had a enough growth ( I usually shave and I had not let it grow out for long enough). I appreciate that they explained that it would be incredibly painful and ineffective if they tried to give me a wax that day. They sent me home with directs and did not penalize me for setting up the appointment. When I finally came back for my bikini wax I was incredibly nervous, but Sarah was so nice and patient. She was also very fast and made it as enjoyable as a bikini wax can be. I would definitely recommend trying out EWC if you have the chance. If you enjoy it definitely get the passes they really help save money if you try to go regularly to do maintenance. read more

I was blown away at how spectacular my experience was with Scotti! I live in Miami and have my back and shoulders waxed every month. I came to town to take care of my Mom after surgery and initially went to the salon she goes to for pedicures. OUCH! The service was horrible and broke me out all over my neck and shoulders because they did not know what they were doing. I saw EWC on yelp, decided to give it a try, and was very impressed with Scotti. I've been having my back waxed for pushing 20 years, both in Washington DC and Miami... I will not be back. I called 2 weeks back to find out if it would be possible to get my underarms, Bikini line and legs waxed. The front desk booked me an appointment and let me know that my hair need to be grown out about the size of rice. So, I showed up super excited about getting this service only to be told my leg hair need to be an inch long. I got 2 if my 3 services done and went down to Beaty brands for some products while thier I explained my dilemma and they were super helpful come to find out they do waxes as well. They looked at my legs and let me know they would have no problem doing the wax needless to say I was super impressed with the service and also discovered that the prices are about $40 less than this place. read more
