Worst of all, when she rinsed out my hair, the water and chemicals that were in it ran down my neck and onto my shirt collar, bleaching my shirt and ruining it. I contacted her about it and requested reimbursement for my ruined shirt. Despite initially telling me she would reimburse me for the replacement cost of the shirt, she never did, even after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you want an okay cut, color that you didn't ask for, and ruined clothing, by all means, go see Tammy. What a nightmare!

Malvern isn't close, but isn't a bad drive and the variety of options they show on their website was enough to get me in my car! The salon is in a small strip mall off 30 so be careful not to drive by. The inside is really as nice as the pictures. It looks like a fun beach store when you walk in the lobby. I was immediately greeted and I had good vibes right away. And yes, I'm totally one of those people with a knee-jerk reaction that judges based on facial expressions and first impressions of front desk behaviors. There were 3 ladies, one of which was the owner Lori and they were all sweet as can be. I let them know I found them online and I was there to tan and check out their beds and Lori sprang into action. She showed me the entire salon, explaining every bed and every other service (light therapy, water table massage etc) room they offer, but not at all in a pushy way. Just to show me since I really did show up out of curiosity. I'm too lazy to get into all the details but suffice to say she knew everything about every bed, bulb, bell and whistle for each bed and booth and assured me her staff was just as educated about the equipment. The salon was spotless, everyone wore masks, everything was marked where it had been sanitized and when I was doing all the paperwork she explained how they clean and maintain the equipment. I felt completely safe. I can't say enough about this salon. I tried a crazy cool new bed with Lori's recommendation. It had a mess of facial-type bulbs all over the top, none on the bottom, 20 minutes and you flip mid-way through. It was SO relaxing, literally like laying on the beach since it had a nice pad with a towel. It was a nice break in my day and totally worth the drive. It won't be my regular salon because of distance, but a couple times a month to switch up my bed or for another service is a no brainer. Thanks guys for a great experience!
