It began to literally spring random holes within the first several weeks and then these weird micro cracks and weird look especially when wet. Then after the first very first winter it began to literally crumble. You can just sweep away bits of the driveway. He never responded to any phone calls or emails. Not to mention left the worst mess of concrete splashed onto my garage eves and the sides of my house. Plus, when he was restaining my cement patio also stained the side of my garage with it. The best part was that a fight nearly broke out on the pour day over not enough water in the truck. Which I have come to find out that is why my driveway looks like shit. The mixture was too dry which caused it to dry too quickly and be too brittle. I don't understand why you would continue to pour knowing the mixture was bad. Just a terrible person and company. I spent way too much money to be so disappointed. Also, they were supposed to remove old gate posts during the process because a new one was going in but they decided they couldn't get one of them out so they just re cemented it in with the new driveway. So then when the fence company came out they had to cut into my brand new driveway to remove the post. To place a new, larger post. Not their fault. Should have been removed with the driveway. Please do not hire Michael Saunders. This driveway was done in June 2023. Only 2.5 years old and I was meticulous about the care of it since I saved for a long time to replace my old one.

We did not park on the driveway and leave salt. The pits were much more than should be expected. ML Scott had an attorney write us a letter that it was normal. Anyone looking at it would say different. We spent a lot to have ML Scott originally seal the driveway after we had it poured. We have been sealing it ever since. It is a shame to spend more and not receive the quality you expected.

Despite the seriousness of that wall's condition, one or two other companies recommended wall anchor systems, which Brandon recognized would be insufficient to hold back a concrete block wall as deteriorated as ours. He also noted the insulation put around the base of our house by the previous company was meant for indoor use. We did make attempts to contact the company that did the original work, but it was murder trying to get them to respond. They finally did, but by that point we'd decided to go with Hart, even though the other company would've been less expensive. We just didn't trust that first company anymore. I'm glad we chose Hart because they did an excellent job. Brandon was very professional, letting us know what was involved each step of the way. We had multiple companies out to quote the repair (big name companies that you see advertising everywhere). They all wanted to put band-aids on the problem, Hart Masonry was the only company that wanted to get to the heart of the issue and fix the entire basement so the foundation would be good for life. Most of the digging was done entirely by hand and the repair took 3 days less than originally expected which was a nice surprise.They were polite, efficient, willing to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after the work was completed. Would give negative stars if possible…read more Due to space limitations we can't give full details or list all the problems, lies, or unprofessional business practices encountered but we'll give the highlights. Contracted with Hinckley Roofing to do tear off and roof replacement on small house. Subcontracted crew only tarped front of house and left other sides exposed. Majority of shingles and debris were thrown off sides and back, not front. Left excessive black marks on vinyl siding and large scratches/gouges on aluminum window trim where shingles hit. Only the front looked mostly okay because of tarp. Siding in very good condition prior to damage they caused. Showed us picture of front with tarp and lied about the rest being tarped until we shared video from security cameras showing shingles raining down against the siding. Their solution was to scrub each streak and power wash the siding, destroying the surface so there were glaring shiny and dull patches alternating across sides and back of house. This was unacceptable to us. Met with them again and were told if we gave it 6 months we wouldn't be able to tell; it would even out. Gave it 6 months and it looks worse. Roof cost just over $9,200. Bids from siding companies were all higher than that amount but Hinckley would only offer half the cost in credit for damages. Said anything more would be unfair to them. When we didn't accept their offer, we were told they'd put lien on house and we could work it out with their insurance company then. Deadline for filing valid lien had passed after so much time but they would file anyway. The only way we could get lien removed then would be to hire attorney and file a lawsuit to have lien invalidated. We opted to take their low offer and be done with them.

We did receive a call from their quality control manager. He was patient in listening to our concerns throughout our experience with the install and follow-ups. He came out a couple days later to inspect the installation. His conclusion was the seams were in spec. He said ideally, someone would have given us awareness of the difficulty of making the seams look good for this color and material combination. No additional discussion or follow-up was done based on this visit. From our perspective. At the end of the day, specs do not matter to someone purchasing high end carpet and paying a premium for installation. The only thing that matters is how it looks in the end. The seams are inconsistent with half being not noticeable, while major common area seams being very noticeable in many lighting conditions. Saying they are within specification can vary greatly and creeping up on the bare minimum of acceptable. I can guarantee you the majority of home owners paying $16,000 for carpet & installation are going to determine Floorz simply does not have high standards and is fine with providing the bare minimum to their customers. Original Review It is difficult for us to recommend Floorz based on our experience. TLDR Unprofessional installers, lack of oversight during installation, required additional fixes and corrections post install (many seams still show), no follow up once paid in full. Overview We spent $16000 with Floorz last December to get all of our carpet replaced. We paid 50% down and 50% upon completion of the core issues. 4 bedrooms, upstairs hallway, living room, and family room. All rooms were completely unfurnished. Pros We like the carpet we chose, padding, and color. The material was good quality and we would choose it again. When we communicated our concerns with how everything was left the first day, they came and picked up the carpet left on our front lawn. They came back to fix multiple areas of the carpet, stairs, closets that would no longer stay on or close properly, doors that were not put back on well, and vents that were popping out. These were not the original installers and made everything look a lot better than the initial install. Cons The installers left the house a complete mess the first day. They did not complete any room, left all the closet and upstairs doors in both bathrooms with our only showers. Constant cursing in Spanish until I called it out the next day. It was obvious we were actively living in the house. There looked to be no one overseeing or planning how a 2 day job would be done while we were living in the house. They left all of our old carpet on our front lawn on day 1 when we were told it would be hauled away. We would have never agreed to this since we have a HOA. When they were done on day 2, there were many issues all around. Required 2 follow-ups for carpet to fix a poor install on the stairs, multiple improper transitions to the hardwood floors, stretching of multiple areas of the carpet, many poor seams that are still showing after 4 months. 1 follow-up to repair closets and doors that were removed and no longer closed properly and all vents in carpeted areas that were popping out. While we were waiting for these fixes to happen, I received an unprofessional email stating to pay by the next day or it will be sent to collections. This was while we were already scheduled for the crew fixing the carpet on the stairs to come back with additional carpet since the first installers took all the extra with them. Conclusion They seriously need better quality control with who they are contracting out the installation. As a homeowner, I want a company that checks the work is done right. I shouldn't have to check the work, call all the discrepancies out, and ask for them to be fixed. If I was the owner, I would follow-up proactively around this experience to make sure it never happens again. No follow-up occurred after the final payment and I'm still bothered how these seams look after 4 months. I'm concerned about what level of warranty I actually have if this is how the initial install went.
