She's highly skilled, very knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely to spend time with. They recently introduced an online booking system, which sounds great in theory but has been somewhat frustrating to use, and I often end up calling anyway. The in-office receptionists are wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful--but phone support feels more centralized and less informed. Overall, still a practice I trust and recommend.

(For Ex: They saved me over $800.00 off a procedure that other dermatologists wouldn't approve for 'medical reasons') They are quick to service and provide both cosmetic and medical needs. I called my husband after the appointment and told him...I believed the doctor was racist, simply by the way she was acting towards me and my son. Back story:I was seeing a different provider that no longer was there and this was my first time seeing Dr.schappell. point being after a year when he finally needed his medications again and I tried to make the appointment. Now is somehow discharged and nobody will call me back. Both nurses( who were super nice and confused)stated it must have been a mistake.But again no one has called me back. Shame on you, it doesn't matter if you own the practice.You should treat everybody the same! Thanks for not following protocol and also not treating me with a little more caution seeing I already had it once. I did do my part and advocated for myself. Went for my check ups and went specifically for my face asking for biopsies over the years. I will never go back here. I feel like it is now more cosmetic services than anything. This scar is worse than a biopsy scar...thanks for your horrible services.

The Doc listens to your concerns and develops a plan. After really a thorough battery of test another consultation, the plan is explained in detail. I am now down 89 pounds. I am no longer on blood pressure medicine and my a1c numbers have dropped significantly. I feel stronger and have a lot more energy. I go to IM as a supplement to my family physician as cookie cutter medicine did not have the answers I needed. My primary care physician was impressed with the testing that Dr. Petteruti performed and really impressed with the results. So much so that I only need to see her once a year. One issue I had that IM's testing showed was a high level of heavy metals. As my career was spent in manufacturing, that is not surprising. The chelation IV drips are addressing that issue. My friend and I had a bizarre experience here…read more We called ahead to confirm they did inner lip tattoos--they said yes and booked us for a week later. We arrived and filled out our forms. We were the only people in the waiting area and there were two employees sitting behind the counter. Eventually, a man (presumably our artist) came out, sat behind the counter, started eating pizza, and didn't acknowledge us. Without looking up, he said, "I'll take your money, but you're gonna be disappointed." At first we were confused and weren't even sure if he was talking to us. When we said we still wanted to try, he basically said we'd be stupid to get them--while repeating that he'd still happily take our money. He never introduced himself, never made eye contact, and seemed irritated by our presence . I have 21 tattoos and I really appreciate when an artist gives me advice and honestly, I appreciate that he was trying to warn us about wasting our money, but his hostility and lack of respect was a deal breaker. We ended up walking out because I didn't feel comfortable letting him tattoo us. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply told us they didn't want to do inner lip tattoos instead of letting us book. I wouldn't recommend going here unless your want to be ridiculed.
