There's also access via footbridge to the city of Englewood parking structure. There's not really any shelter around the station, so when it's windy, it's probably pretty cold up by the light rail tracks. However, that does give you a good idea of where you are, because you can see several blocks radius around you. It's certainly very convenient if you need to get to the Englewood city Center, or other places nearby, like Cushing Park or Dartmouth Avenue. Depending on where your final destination is, and whether you're crazy like me and would rather walk for 20 minutes and wait for 10 and write a bus for 15, everything's accessible via the footpath system that runs under Santa Fe pretty easily. Overall, even if it's not the fanciest station I ever saw, I certainly wouldn't mind my commute bringing me through here more often.

One beef-the platform is up a set of stairs/ramp with the ticket machines at the bottom. That means if you're cutting it close for your train, you have to buy your ticket down below and bolt up some stairs to make it, as opposed to most stations where you can usually make it more easily. Still, it's a nice, clean station that's made to be very easy to use. I'm a fan.

It was installed in 2006. I couldn't find much information about this online. There's a riddle you're supposed to solve ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/rtd-southmoor-station-denver?select=hVUIr1N8WBWyO1l8-tTvig ) and walk by the speakers in an order. Since I was only going to be here one time, I wanted to be sure I activated the speakers correctly to create the sounds in order so I could hear the melodic tune. Don't think I was successful... People are constantly on their way to or from the station and have to walk through this tunnel. The cacophony of noises emanating from the speakers was music to my ears for the short time I heard it. I can see how it might be bothersome to some people. It was sporadically busy during the entire time I was there. I was getting stared at because I was trying to activate the speakers and record the sounds. I was probably in the way of travelers. Some of the pillars play bells ringing and others play sounds from nature like birds squawking & chirping. TIP: You need to pass by fairly close to the speakers to activate them. Just as I was about to give up, a nice sequence of dings, chirps, squawks, & bells began to play! I think the "Art" had mercy on me or it was programmed to play at certain intervals. It's located on S. Monaco Pkwy. Light Rail trains & buses are the mode of transportation here. This is a Park n Ride. If you are catching a bus, you just catch it from near the parking lot. If you are catching a train, you need to go down the stairs or ramp, through the tunnel, and go up the stairs or take the elevator to get to the platform. The tunnel crosses underneath the I-25. I would have taken the train or bus to any other station, but time didn't permit. It would have been cool to see all 30 art installations in the Denver area! You can ride free during July & August because of the "Zero Fare for Better Air" Campaign.

I don't much like walking in the tunnel but in broad daylight I felt ok. I had to wait for another train as the one I wanted to take was pulling away as I came up the stairs. There are some weird acting people who wait at this station. Made me feel uncomfortable and I watched them. One of them came too close and I made sure to not have my back to him. I feel like the atmosphere in the trains has changed with the free rides in August and I don't plan to ride anymore. Luckily the location I work at is different for a while and I can drive.

Heading South from Union station on the E line. This is stop #7…read more The Louisiana Pearl station is the first sub terranean station with the platforms being below street level. There are stairs and elevators on Louisiana street to reach the trains. This station serves the south end of the Washington Park neighborhood as well as the historic Old South Pearl Shopping district as well as many other restaurants and grocery stores. There are also art installations at the top street level elevator entrance.

The B-cycle folks have conveniently situated a rack on-site as well and that adds to the ease of making whatever connections you need from foot to bus to train to car! There is no high-capacity parking at this stop tho. I really like the artistic ironwork...big green leaves bursting out from the concrete to shad the stairwell down to the platform and also give it more of a green urban flair. Trains E, F and H connect here.

Rode the train in to the convention center for a conference. Convenient way to not pay $15 for…read moreparking. Few passengers on a Friday. Parking was great. Lots of space. The new ticket validators are sleek. I was glad to see an RTD police officer at the station when I alighted after the conference. It was getting dark and some of the riders were weird. I thanked him for his vigilance and my sense of security. He was nice and walked partway to my car with me.

They charge you upfront for your reservation and then charge a 10% fee claiming that's the credit…read morecard fees they pay. I own a business myself and know fees are typically no more than 1.5-3% for each transaction. Way to nickel and dime consumers. Also for a 6 passenger car they charge a fee for every person except for one and their bags. I'd rather pay the cancellation fee and take my business elsewhere.
