    I cannot express how grateful we are to Gustavo and his exceptional team at Event Helpers LA. From our first contact - - and at every point -- we felt confident and thrilled that we had picked the right team. Gustavo is smart, insightful, cheerful, resourceful, creative, and in charge. Even though we were putting together the largest event at our home since our wedding in 2008, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed and excited to be throwing a retirement bash for 110+ guests. Normally a huge event at our home would be very stressful -- Not with Gustavo, he always made us feel great, and we were so happy that we had someone as experienced as him to navigate every detail. Gustavo helped with everything. Linens, caterer, furniture, beverages, decor, party favors, layout and logistics. Where it was easy for us to simply purchase things ourselves like beverages, he saved us money -- his staff and bartenders did all the work of serving, prep and tear down. He even suggested a # so that guests could post their pictures to social media under our name. Brilliant. Everything and everyone Gustavo recommended was top-notch. Our DJ Carlos could not have been better, the music was totally fun and upbeat -- our guests were thrilled with the entire event. The compliments flowed like champagne, and we owe it all to Gustavo and his team. To be sure, there were a couple of glitches along the way, this or that got miscommunicated with the caterer (who incidentally WE had insisted on rather than going with Gustavo's recommended caterer). That was our mistake. Next time I would 100% go with whoever Gustavo recommends because he knows the best of the best! Unlike a lot of events, making all of this happen was actually fun, every conversation we had with Gustavo, every meeting left us feeling better and more enthusiastic. Having thrown some of these parties with other event planners, I have to say I've never felt as happy and relaxed as I did with Gustavo. And his team. Meanwhile, the response to our invite was huge -- in fact we ended up with a far bigger budget event than we had planned. And it was all worth it, every dollar. In fact because there had been a couple of minor glitches with the caterer, Gustavo offered us a make-good out of his own pocket...which we politely declined. The truth is everything had been so fantastic, so beyond our expectations, and everyone was so happy -- his kind gesture was characteristic, but we said no, it was the best party ever and we were just grateful to have him at the helm. Our party lasted for five hours, followed by an after party for about four hours: Gustavo even made sure that we had a staff member for the after party to make life easy. She was amazing. Only one sad note - now that this event is done, I wish we had another one to look forward to!! I chose Event Helpers LA because of the incredible reviews and five star ratings... Absolutely deserved, and I highly highly recommend this company. Thank you so much, Gustavo and team! We are your biggest fans and are so thankful for everything you have done for us. It was amazing. FIVE STARS *******!!!!

So when our venue provided a list of preferred bartenders and we saw Alfonso's name on it, we were thrilled and reached out right away! From the beginning, Alfonso was easy to work with, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us create something unique for our wedding. We stayed in touch throughout the year, and about three months before the wedding, we met for a tasting. We came in with ideas, and Alfonso brought them to life while also offering recommendations that made them even better. One of our favorite parts was creating our three signature cocktails inspired by our cats. He helped us fine-tune each drink, and the final result was not only fun and personal but absolutely delicious. Throughout the planning process, Alfonso was incredibly accommodating. Our wedding required a cocktail hour bar setup in one area and then a complete move and setup for the reception bar later in the evening. He handled all of it seamlessly and made sure everything was ready when it needed to be. The drinks were a huge hit. Our guests kept coming up to us throughout the night to tell us how much they loved them, especially the signature cocktails. Alfonso also helped us create a beautiful custom drink menu, and the final printed version looked fantastic. On the wedding day, Alfonso and his fellow bartender were amazing. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and kept the bar running smoothly all night. Most importantly, the drinks were consistently delicious from start to finish. We are incredibly grateful for all of Alfonso's hard work, creativity, and attention to detail. He helped create such a fun experience for our guests, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding bartender for their event.

They also had a mixed shot called Mexican Candy, and it was a total crowd favorite, highly recommend adding that! Liz gave us an estimate for how much alcohol to buy, and after a few tweaks based on our guests, it ended up being spot-on. We barely had anything left by the end of the night, which was perfect. I spent months connecting closely with Liz and truly appreciated the time and attention she gave us while helping plan our cocktail menu and shopping list. Her guidance made the planning process feel so much easier and less stressful. On the wedding day, the bar ran smoothly all night, the drinks were great, and our guests felt well taken care of. In addition to bartending, their team provided three servers who handled set-up and clean-up and did a phenomenal job. We rented plates and cutlery for 136 guests and were responsible for returning every piece -- the MIA team washed, dried, and accounted for everything, which was an enormous help. Prior to our wedding, Ashley and I communicated over the type of wedding party we were having, as well as how many drinking adults we were having so we could get a proper headcount of how many supplies and ingredients were needed to be purchased. Ashley gave me a list of her award winning drinks to choose from so we could have His and Hers specialty cocktails, which was so much fun to pick from! Closer to our wedding day, she gave us an organized and detailed shopping list which we could order through Amazon to save us the trouble of having to go to our local grocer. On the day of our wedding, we had the pleasure of working with Colton and Tyler. Both showed up in a timely manner and immediately went straight to work. We love that they had a beautiful bar stand set up with a menu so that our guests knew what they were being served. What blew us away was the fact that the drinks were all prepared ahead of time and displayed on the stand so our guests can just grab and go without having to wait in a long line. It is so efficient!! We love it. On top of that, our guests absolutely enjoyed the drinks. We received compliments all night on how amazing the drinks were. Guests couldn't stop talking about how great he was so much so that people were already asking for his information before the night even ended because they want him at their own events. That alone says everything. He didn't just bartend, he helped create an experience. We ended up extending the night (of course we did!) because no one was ready for it to be over, and Tanner didn't miss a beat he stayed just as upbeat, attentive, and accommodating the entire time. The bar socialite service overall was seamless, professional, and so easy to work with, but Tanner truly took it to another level. If you're thinking about booking do it. You will not regret it. He brought the best energy, amazing drinks, and helped turn a great party into an unforgettable one. We'll 100% be booking again!
