This is a fraudulent website. Purchased tickets in march with a promised ship date of august. Tickets were never shipped. Few days before the event, tickets are supposedly shipped but since i'm not home the days before the event to sign get sent back. Don't use this site. When I thought I was purchasing my tickets (after googling what I thought was the venue site), the Event Tickets Center site came up with tickets to buy. I ended up paying over $400 for what amounted as the amount to purchase two $75 tickets. (They added so many other fees to already inflated seat prices.) Turns out the venue site had their own URL and that I could have purchased the tickets directly from them. Event Tickets Center site said tickets were being rapidly purchased by others and that there weren't many tix left. Total fabrication. These SCAMMERS sold me tickets to a children's rodeo that was at the same venue but earlier in the day as the event we wanted to see At 7pm. I had to do two separate transactions and it happened both times. I know I didn't click on this but when the tickets came, i was charged $305 for 6 tickets to a children's rodeo where tickets were $5 at the door. I didn't get ticket confirmation for 24 hours so had no choice to cancel. I contacted customer service and told them about it and they refused to refund my money or transfer the tickets to the correct show. My advice, don't EVER buy tickets from this website!! Call the venue and ask for their preferred site to buy tickets to their events. I entered tickets for a certain concert in Google. Events Tickets Center was the first link (because they sponsored it). When I got there, it appeared to be THE site on which to purchase a ticket for the concert. There was pressure with a countdown timer of less than 10 minutes and notice that the seats were selling out. Lots of pressure. I purchased, and it seemed an insane amount $155.55. Get this: They charged the ticket at $112.00, with a "service fee" of $33.60, plus a delivery fee of $9.95. Afterward, I searched again and ended up on the CORRECT website on which to buy the ticket, and guess what? The seats were NOT selling out. I was able to pick my seat (ETC didn't let me do that), a great seat in the orchestra a few rows from the front for **40 DOLLARS**. This company preys on people like me (senior citizen) with unethical, deceptive practices. (tickets weren't selling out, and there should have been no pressure to purchase one). Thanks, ETC, for hurting someone who is a disabled senior citizen already struggling to keep a roof over my head and meet my medical bills. I am now going to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Federal Trade Commission and any other entity so their practices are reviewed by agencies that want to protect the public from incidents like this. read more
