So kind of you to finally respond 2 years later but Yes I was part of it. In fact, I was the maid of honor, cleaning up the emotional turmoil you left my family in. First off, no harassment file happened. Actually, previously she claimed her (very helpful actually) assistant was the one being harassed. So which is it? This owner can't even keep her own lies straight. Actually, perhaps maybe the mother of the bride should have invoked a harassment suit TOWARDS yourself considering you attempted to lie and readjust the seating arrangements last minute (considering my husband had to manage that as one of the ushers) despite the bride and MOB being very clear on their seating arrangement months before whilst she claimed this wasn't discussed and due to trying to change this behind their backs, ultimately led to the MOB having a breakdown before walking her daughter down the aisle. So in turn, of course the bridesmaids were vocal about how the planner was causing MORE emotional distress towards the people who've paid her a lot of money to ensure things run smoothly AND to their request. Two, the bridesmaids telling her to back off of her pushy directions and forcing food out when not everyone even had a seat due to some wedding crashers, is not harassment or being intoxicated. In fact I think most of us were sober, especially since many bridesmaids & groomsmen had kids themselves there they were watching, much of the wedding party was actively doing things FOR the wedding and the couple all day and night to partake in drinks, the others are religious and DON'T drink, I wasn't drinking by choice, AND one bridesmaid was pregnant. So let's not tell lies to justify your lack of professionalism. The bride AND groom locked themselves in for a discussion about the wedding crashers in which you did nothing stop it or anything to help the situation other than antagonize the bridal party whilst we were protecting the bride from further emotional damage caused by you! Not to mention you were only found attempting to take down decorations well before the party was over and stormed out on several occasions leaving the wedding party & the venue coordinator to complete tasks. Also the manager of the Venue has banned you from this venue due to your disorganization; lack of communication, and distress you left the family in. Meanwhile, the venue, Crooked Willow Farms, themselves were so helpful in managing where the planner was sufficiently lacking and even apologized for us experiencing your aggressiveness at every turn. At no point during any of the wedding did anyone from the wedding party get told off for drinking too much or being unruly. Perhaps you were drunk yourself and misremembered this entire event seeing as your claims about this event has been entirely false. You were so awful, we should have sued was for emotional distress but thought it was better to leave an accurate review so other couples can be advised accordingly. Also to note, those other testimony places recommended, the owner is able to DELETE reviews which is why there are so many positive ones there ONLY Yelp allows the truth to come out without restriction. Note: I was not an actual client, however I was maid of honor... First off she charged $$$ for her services (and was going to charge them ANOTHER $$$ if they moved their date to next year due to COVID-19 restrictions.) The brides and grooms family found the caterer and found an alternate location due to COVID restrictions without much assistance from this "wedding manager" All AMANDA PIPER did was boss everybody around!! Before the rehearsal at the church, she made the mother of the bride furious as well as cry hysterically. Then basically read the plan for the ceremony off of a clip board where the information was basically dictated to her by the bride and grooms family. She then tells us to reach out to her if we need anything and not to bother the bride and groom, so we realize we need more lights for the tent but we we were in the middle of the rehearsal dinner. So we text her and she replied that she wasn't able get these lights, so some of us had to leave the rehearsal to go get them. As well as the Best Man had an issue with his pants on the day of the wedding that she didn't help with either! We we were told was part of her services!! Based upon what she had stated to the entire wedding party her services were limited when I came to helping us. Then comes the day of the wedding...!! We were getting ready, and in true girl fashion we were a little behind (like 10 minutes) and she came barreling in our dressing room barking at us the we needed to get out there cause it was time. So we rushed getting the bride into her dress and got out to our marks to walk down the aisle... then we waited at least another 10 minutes before we even started. On to the reception... All the guests we having a good time during cocktail hour and us girls were getting the bride into her second dress and touching ourselves up. One of the bridesmaids fiancés was bringing us beverages and checking on his fiancé and this woman (Amanda Piper) had the gaul to literally shoo him away saying he needed to go away, not knowing who he was or what he was doing. Regardless of who he was she was incredibly RUDE to a guest. I called her out on it and she acted like she did nothing wrong. And her rudeness and nasty bossy behavior continued throughout the night. This woman acted like she had all the power and all she had was a clipboard!!! Mind you we all had some adult beverages and she may claim I was intoxicated but I only noted what the facts were before the party began! Definitely a clash of personalities and I'm not the only one who noticed these things!! Don't waste your time or your money!! If I could give ZERO stars I would!! read more

Poor Experience The bride and groom hired Amanda based on her good reviews. Unfortunately, the good reviews did not hold up with her actions. Amanda seems to have good reviews because SHE DELETES THE NEGATIVE ONES. There were a multitude of issues on the wedding day. Amanda made the mother of the bride cry over arguing that her ex-husbands new wife should sit in the front row (against the brides wishes). Amanda was given a seating chart and argued who should be sitting up front. This is NOT HER POSITION to argue and go against the bride's wishes on who sits where on her wedding day. Additionally, prior to the ceremony the ushers were given the food menu pamphlets instead of the ceremony pamphlets to hand out prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, the bride and groom realized some uninvited guests showed up. The bride and groom requested time ALONE in the bridal suite to figure out what they wanted to do with these guests. Amanda argued with multiple bridesmaids that she needs to get to her client because they are late and off HER schedule for starting the reception. The bride said to MOH that she DOES NOT CARE if they start late and they WISHED to figure out what to do prior to starting reception. MOH communicated this with Amanda. Amanda did not care and tried to precede past MOH. Luckily- Sara from Crooked Willow Farms was there to also stop Amanda from disrupting the bride and grooms requested ALONE time. After the wedding was over Amanda sent the bride a follow up email THE SAME NIGHT AS THE WEDDING regarding the wedding and everything that she thinks went wrong. I'm sorry, but most people would know not to send an email with things that went wrong when the bride is on a high from getting married. She promptly blamed Brittany and Jim for starting the reception late and the food being cold because the bridesmaids would not let her get to her client. In addition, Amanda accused the bridesmaids of verbally harassing her when the bridesmaids were simply sticking up for the bride and grooms wishes and requests. I would not recommend Amanda as a wedding planner unless you want added stress, multiple arguments, and messy unorganized micromanagement on your wedding day. read more

I want to start off by saying I feel terrible leaving a bad review as I would never want to tear someone down, but my goal here is not to tear down a wedding vendor but rather to let you know in our situation, she was not very good at her job. Also, I am so happy for the brides that absolutely loved Amanda, but sadly that was the opposite for our beautiful bride on her special day. In my opinion, a wedding planner is supposed to help guide the bride through the day and make sure the day is done how THE BRIDE (& groom) wants it to happen. It's also the planners job to keep the day flowing while responding with kindness when problems arise, as they tend to. If you disagree then maybe Amanda is the wedding planner for you. I am the sister/bridesmaid to the bride and groom, and I will say Amanda was very persistent and good with details, but the way she handled everything was very unprofessional. From the moment I met Amanda at the rehearsal dinner she was very pushy and to be honest, quite rude. She happened to be the one late to the rehearsal because of weather which we can't control, but then proceeded to be rude to my parents who needed to leave the rehearsal to welcome guests to the dinner. The entire rehearsal was about an hour long, but nobody actually knew what was going on during it. Our bride had made suggestions to things she wanted, and Amanda said that it wouldn't work or her reply was rude in making it seem like the bride's suggestion was terrible. It's the brides day, not the the planners. She also handed out cards with her info saying she didn't want anyone bothering the bride and groom with questions. I loved that idea, but when she was approached with questions or things that were needed, it wasn't a very nice response or she wasn't able to do it. I thought maybe she was just stressed because she was late to the rehearsal, but then the wedding day, sadly, she happened to be even worse. The wedding day.. we had multiple little things that could have been easily fixed, but Amanda had made it such a big deal that we had to say something to her about it before it got even worse. There was an issue with seating at the reception. A few people sat in the wrong spots and a few people came to the wedding that weren't on the list. Things happen. But immediately Amanda was freaking out telling the entire wedding party we had nowhere to sit. We said we would just figure it out and everything would be okay, but she was persistent in making it a big deal. Which lead to the bride and groom being very distraught as the focus was on something that was out of their control. It was very unprofessional. It was heart-breaking to watch the wedding planner make things worse than they were. She also claimed that she had nothing to do with the seating chart for the ceremony and that it was left to the ushers, but family had been rudely told by her to move back to their assigned seats. The reason they weren't in the "assigned seats" was because they had made room for an aunt that was able to make the wedding. Sadly, there were many tears shed because of Amanda. My hope in posting this is that the wedding planner can learn that not all brides are the same and maybe she can try different ways to accommodate brides and adjust things for THEIR big day. It's also my hope that people also know how she handled all of the things that went wrong throughout the day. Things go wrong. It happens, but how a wedding planner manages chaos should be a good indicator as to how professional they can be and how good they are at their job. This is the worst coordinator you could possibly find!!! Amanda is a NIGHTMARE!! She will not work to get what you want. She will not communicate effectively. She WILL make fun of you and your guests. She will take unauthorized pictures and share them to social media. She is beyond unprofessional. The junior coordinator is an even bigger nightmare. She will throw you under the bus. Say nasty things on social media about your hard work. They manipulate the ratings and recommendations on social media.....which is how we fell for it. The only reason she was voted best wedding planner (or whatever garbage she claims) is due to her manipulation. We have planned MANY backyard weddings for friends and family.
