Ask the Community - Cultivating Spirits

Can anyone give me an average price for 6 people wanting the works?

for 6 people it's $175 per person. The price does decrease with more people.

The site only talks about large groups for the 3 course dinner - however, I'm wondering if this something that my husband and I would be able to do while vacationing here? Perhaps be paired with other small groups?

May 2026 My wife and…read moreI are Marriott Vacation Club owners, and about five months ago we decided to take a road trip from Maryland to Colorado. After stopping at several locations along the way, we finally arrived at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail, and from the moment you pull in, you immediately understand why this place is special. As soon as you arrive, the valet staff greets you right away. The Ritz truly offers full-service hospitality. You simply take any personal items you want with you and head inside to check in while they handle everything else. They unload all of your luggage, neatly place any loose items into a nice bag, park your vehicle, and once they see you've made it to your room, your luggage is delivered shortly after. Walking through the front doors, there is a table set up with hand lotion, several different SPF sunscreens, hand sanitizer, and baskets of washcloths for guests returning from outside activities -- a very thoughtful touch. Check-in was quick and effortless. The staff explained the amenities, where everything was located, and then off to our room we went. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, and when we opened the door we were immediately impressed. The decor was beautiful and upscale without feeling overdone. The entryway included a half bath, followed by a dining area and small bar setup. The kitchen featured Bosch and Breville appliances, which added to the luxury feel. The living room had a sofa bed, comfortable seating, and a large tv over the fireplace that made the room feel very cozy and a balcony looking at the slops. Both bedrooms were nearly identical and absolutely stunning, each with: a huge king bed, a large bathroom, heated floors, a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, and double sinks. One of the bedrooms also had a balcony. Every evening starting around 4 p.m., the resort hosts different socials including cookies, wine tastings, and later bourbon tastings. It really added to the overall experience and made the property feel even more welcoming and luxurious. There is honestly so much more I could say about this property, but overall we absolutely loved our stay. If you are looking for one of the best places to stay in Vail, this is it.

Well appointed room, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the little luxuries. It has a steam room, and outdoor pool and a very nice lounge for chilling apres ski. There is a shuttle to and from the Arabelle where you have a very short walk to the lift. There's also a tent there where you check your skis and poles so you don't have to schlep them back to the hotel. The shuttle takes all of 90 seconds. Wonderful friendly staff and valet parking - free for the first car. Highly recommended!

I don't think I'm a ski fan (I tried it and once was more than enough) but still love the beauty I see. We were told that NYE was also crazy busy but didn't realize Valentine weekend would be too. Beautiful nevertheless!

My buddy and I finally made the drive over from Arizona and had a blast skiing here. Breckenridge Ski Resort (or just Breck) is a popular resort that is owned and operated by Vail Resorts, Inc. We have Epic Passes and used them while we were here. Breckenridge Ski Resort opened in 1961 and has a total of 35 chair lifts. It has five peaks that are part of the Ten Mile Range. We stayed in nearby Frisco and made the short drive over each morning. We then took the BreckConnect Gondola to Peak 8 and began our day there. Lower Peak 8 is home to the base village of Breckenridge Ski Resort. There are places to eat, shop and rent gear in this area. For trails, there is a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced runs that you can access from Lower Peak 8. Check out Ullr, the Norse god of Snow statue while you are here at base village. My buddy and I are intermediate skiers that mix in some black runs here and there. I personally have been skiing since my teenage years. We spent most of our first day skiing runs off the Colorado and Rocky Mountain Superchair lifts to get our warmup reps in. We then finished our day hitting some blue runs over at Peak 6. There are a number of places to grab food and drinks. We hit Sevens (at the base of Peak 7) for an early morning Bloody Mary. We also grabbed lunch at T-Bar over at base village. But for the most part, we snacked on granola bars and other goodies that we carried in our pockets. We like to grab hotels that have a big continental breakfast so that we don't have to spend a lot of cash on food on the slopes. Day Two we wanted more challenging runs. Some people told us that Whale's Tail is a good challenge and fun to ski on. Whale's Tail is a double black diamond run that has a 604-foot drop, from 12,858 to 12,254 feet. It is nestled between Peak 7 and 8 and you have to take the Imperial Express lift to get to it. Imperial Express is the highest lift in North America at 12,840 feet. Crossing the catwalk in strong windy weather was no fun. But you get beautiful views of the entire mountain from the top of Whale's Tail once you get there. If was worth the challenge and we had fun skiing down it. The rest of the day we took it easy and skied mostly green and blue runs over at Peak 8 and 9 to wrap up our trip. We enjoyed hanging out in the town of Breckenridge after our two days of skiing. The town itself is very charming and has a number of bars and restaurants. Breckenridge attracts all sorts of outdoor enthusiasts in both the summer and winter. Breckenridge Ski Resort has made the town a popular destination for skiers since it opened in the 60's. The town is definitely worth a stop after a day on the slopes.
