During every meeting leading up to the wedding, Nancy was so organized and reassuring. She would assign us "homework," which helped keep us on task and also offer us different suggestions to make the day run seamlessly. Nancy and her team worked so much behind the scenes that, we really felt like we just showed up to our dream wedding. She really listened to our vision and helped bring it to life! On the day of the wedding, Nancy and her team were so efficient at putting everything together - they were literally everywhere at once all the time and made sure everything ran so smoothly! They took such good care of our family members, and made sure we didn't get overwhelmed either (which can sometimes be difficult with Asian families). Nancy and her team were so calm that they just kept us calm. Post-wedding, they also made sure all of our items got organized and packed away after the reception was over. Literally every little thing was accounted for, and we just got to enjoy the night and not stress about the clean-up after. We cannot thank them enough for being part of our wedding day. They recommended a lot of vendors, based on our preferences, many of whom they've worked with before, which made me feel confident in our choices. They do a ton of behind the scenes work communicating with vendors to make sure everything is perfect on wedding day. They also respond SO promptly (and accurately!) whenever we ask any type of questions. We were absolutely blown away by their services on wedding weekend -- they executed everything perfectly and our wedding was exactly how we'd wanted it. Everything went extremely smoothly and it is because of the Aisle Ai team. They were kind and patient with my family and bridal party, and immediately helped us with anything we needed. I had some items (card box, tea ceremony kneelers) that never came (ugh, online orders) but they brought back-ups. I'm sure they had 1000 things running through their heads but we could never tell - they were always grounded and attentive. It is also great that they know so many vendors in Chicago, so they had good communication with all of them. After starting to work with the ladies, Emily Weinstein in particular, my doubts went away after about 30 seconds. We worked with MDE for over a year, and it couldn't have been more of a wonderful experience. MDE had never thrown a wedding in Hawaii but you would have never known it. The research, recommendations and relationships they made with the Hawaiian vendors rivals any planner who is actually based in Hawaii. Not only was the wedding far from where they are based in Chicago but it was also a Jewish/Military wedding. MDE understood how we wanted to the wedding to look and made it come to life. They were always calm, collective and supportive even when things got a little stressful due to the fact that the groom was deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months of the planning. They were extremely organized, helpful, detail orientated and through with every detail whether it be big or small. Not only were they excellent with their planning but you got the sense from all three women, Michelle, Emily and Sterling that they really cared about you. I loved that she was able to recommend great vendors, some of which I actually booked (our florist, bakery and hair/makeup). She was also a very diligent and organized liaison, contacting all of our vendors on our behalf to make sure that everything was being executed as planned. Caitlin was always one step ahead of the game, and she even ironed out head-spinning logistics that I didn't even know we needed to plan for! From her extensive experience, she was able to foresee all potential hiccups and already knew how to prepare for EVERYTHING! I must have e-mailed her a million times the day before our wedding, freaking out about what would happen if it rains...and a million other "problems" that had only just occurred to me. Of course, Caitlin already had a contingency plan for the rain and a solution/plan for all my other concerns. Caitlin also helped set-up all our miscellaneous decor and table items that my husband and I brought from home (i.e. not provided by the florist or any other vendor). For example, our wed-libs, card box, escort card display, well-wishing wands, and our unity candle...and more. That was such a HUGE help because I'd otherwise have to rely on the venue coordinator (who was not as knowledgeable of the plan) or assign a family member or member of the bridal party, and I wanted to make sure that my friends and family didn't have to stress about those things. In the end, neither I or my friends/family had to think or stress about any details on the wedding day. we all just sat back and enjoyed the ride!
