I would not recommend this service. Our family hired this DJ service for a wedding this September,…read moreand unfortunately, the experience left a lasting negative impression on what should have been a beautiful night. At the start, guests in the back half of the banquet hall could barely hear the announcements for the first 30 minutes until an extra speaker was finally added. Because the sound was inconsistent, the crowd understandably didn't quiet down -- but rather than handling it professionally, the DJ grew visibly agitated. During the couple's game, he actually scolded the guests, telling people to go outside if they couldn't stop talking. That type of tone might work at a nightclub, but it was completely inappropriate at a wedding, where family and friends have traveled to celebrate, catch up, and share in the couple's joy. The groom himself was furious that the entertainer spoke to his loved ones that way. When it came time for dancing, the music selection was uninspired at best. The set felt like a recycled early-2000s club playlist, with little thought given to the crowd in attendance. This was a wedding with an older audience, and not a single polka or nostalgic track was played. There was only one slow dance offered for other couples, and requests were essentially ignored. Most notably, when my little niece asked for her favorite Disney song the DJ first brushed her off and then flatly refused the second time -- a request he could have declined politely but instead chose to handle rudely. In short, the DJ failed to read the room, alienated the guests, and soured the atmosphere of what should have been a joyful celebration. Weddings are about bringing families together, but what most people will remember from this event is the entertainer's poor attitude, lack of professionalism, and inability to connect with the crowd. I would strongly caution anyone considering this service for their wedding or event.

Absolutely awful. My husband was given a size smaller jacket than he asked for. It was even marked…read moreon the receipt that he went to a bigger size. When he went to pick it up, the guy(owner) argued with him and said, "that's how it's supposed to fit," and "don't go jumping around in it." He came home (an hour away) and tried it on for me and my mom - yep! Too small! I called the woman and she said she would have the right size available the next day. She then called back later and said we would have to pay a $30 overnight shipping fee for the new jacket. What choice did we have? We had to pay it. The next day when I called to make sure the jacket came in, I said I didn't understand why we were responsible for paying it. The woman was very rude and kept arguing with me saying that the too small jacket fit my husband and apparently you're not supposed to move your arms in a tux. Ugh. My six groomsmen were supposed to all be in vests and she put them all in suspenders... But apparently that was her "first mistake in 30 years." They also forgot my dad's jacket and met him halfway the morning of the wedding. The father of the bride! These people are a joke. After returning our tuxedos and explaining how disappointed we were, we didn't even get so much as an, "I'm sorry." We went back to the $30 shipping for THEIR error and her response was, "Well I have to pay $40 to ship it back!" What kind of business reacts like this? We all make mistakes, it happens. We're all human. But as a business owner, sometimes you have to eat the mistakes with the costs in order to run a good business. These people were very unapologetic and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone.

When I asked him if he could send me the audio from our speeches, vows and anything else he thought was meaningful or important he said ABSOLUTELY!! He's affordable and does AMAZING work!! I had so many guests come up to us during our wedding saying how good the DJ specifically was! During our pre-wedding calls, he brought up details that I had never even thought of, and I was so appreciative to have him help me navigate our wedding reception by keeping us on schedule with our speeches, first dances, etc. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and Joe did a fantastic job gauging the crowd and playing what they wanted. We also utilized Exceptional Entertainment's photo booth and guest book phone, which were special additions that our guests really loved. He had foam light-up sticks for the dance floor that were a HUGE hit with all of our guests! Joe was having a great time behind the DJ booth and I think that really was a game-changer with my guests matching his energy. I 100% will be recommending Joe to all of my friends and family for their events!

Used this company for my wedding this past weekend, and it was by far the most unprofessional…read morevendor I have ever worked with for any event. Aside from never answering the phone, hardly ever returning calls, they didn't have a drop off date and time until the day prior to dropping them off and had no clue of a time for drop off at all. I was told I would get a two hour heads up that they were on their way to drop off, I got twenty minutes. The venue was a family farm and they didn't seem to comprehend that myself or my husband needed to be there for them to be there. They invited themselves into the property when we instructed them to wait at the end of the drive for us. Then after being told that they set up the chairs, they dumped them off and left. We were left setting up the day before our wedding, among the other hundreds of things we needed to do already. They gave us no pick up date or time when asked, we finally called two days after the wedding and asked when they'd be picked up. We found out they were on their way already-no warning at all. We waited for them for 3 hours and hadn't seen anyone. We explained to them once again they could not come into the venue without us there, they showed up after we left and took their chairs and portapotty and never gave us any notice that they did this. For anyone who plans to use this vendor, yes the price is decent but for the service it is not worth the stress and disrespect that comes with it. The woman who answers the phones, Megan, is also beyond rude and apparently incompetent as she can't follow simple instructions, return or answer phone calls, or have the common courtesy to give their customers a heads up on pick up and drop offs

The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.
