She's warm, energetic, and genuinely passionate about what she does--without ever feeling overwhelming or intrusive. Gentry stepped in about two months before our wedding and took so much off our plate. She was incredibly responsive, handled vendor communications seamlessly, and managed last-minute updates with ease. Throughout the entire process, I felt completely taken care of and confident that she would bring our vision to life. What really stood out was her attention to detail and proactive approach. She suggested things we hadn't even considered (like renting microphones), but was never pushy and always respected our decisions. Anytime I had a concern, she had either already handled it or immediately jumped into action--like when I worried about muddy transportation on our rainy wedding day, and she had already coordinated with the vendor. Was kinda stressed looking for someone who could set up a secured covering at a reasonable price. Luckily found Honolulu party rentals. Ryan promptly returned my call and worked within my budget. They were literally my one stop shop for MULTIPLE things! We did the party package pro + projector and screen rental. Everything from the inquiry, to the emails, to the payments, AND reminders (because I lose track of time a lot) all were such a smooth process. I'm naturally always anxious and stressed, and want to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sooo much of my anxiety was eased because of Balloon Twisters Hawaii. They were organized, timely, cleaned up after themselves, effectively communicated with my husband and I, AND were such a breath of fresh air with their humor. It was perfect for our grandparents and several friends traveling from off-island. They could relax in their rooms, freshen up between events, and easily return to the celebration. It also allowed us to host our rehearsal dinner on the property without needing to book a second venue. On paper, it sounded like the perfect fit, and the property itself is undeniably beautiful. Unfortunately, the management and overall experience were incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived for our week long stay, there was no check-in process whatsoever. The front door was simply unlocked, and no one greeted us or explained anything. Throughout our stay, management was nearly impossible to find whenever we had questions or needed assistance. The venue itself also needs much more upkeep than the photos suggest. The white ceremony chairs had clearly not been cleaned in quite some time. We couldn't find a single chair that was actually clean. The folding tables were in poor condition, with rough edges that actually gave some of our guests splinters while setting up. Even the "white" linens were inconsistent, with some being white and others noticeably cream-colored. Once the wedding day began, there was essentially no support from management. If we needed anything, there was no one readily available. At checkout, we had to call multiple staff members several times before we were finally able to reach someone. Thankfully, the housekeeping and landscaping staff who were nearby were kind and helpful, but they should not have been put in the position of helping with issues that management should have handled. Our biggest disappointment was with the manager, Phineas (who also goes by Pitambar). Throughout the planning process and during our stay, we experienced repeated promises that were never followed through on. Communication was inconsistent, and many commitments simply didn't happen. The property itself has so much potential, but it is far from a plug-and-play wedding venue. It requires significant coordination, flexibility, and an experienced planning team to make everything run smoothly. If you're considering booking here, do your homework. It appears that management has changed several times over the years, and many couples have had very different experiences depending on who was running the venue at the time. The location is beautiful, and the idea behind it is wonderful. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, poor maintenance, and absence of reliable management made what should have been a seamless experience much more stressful than it needed to be.
