Hello potential Everydry of Toledo Customer - I bought my house in 2006...a seemingly wonderful place, with full finished basement. Not long after buying, I began to smell a musty odor there...then began seeing black spots on the drywall near the floor. Like many people, I diligently diverted downspout water away from the house and kept my gutters super clean...but the problem only worsened. In 2010, I finally had to act, as I could hardly stand to be down there. I met with Everdry. They pointed out that the cinder block actually soaks up the moisture, much of it from ground water (meaning the rain water diversion made little difference). They completely explained their patented system of remediation...one that, while extensive and quite messy...actually works! I signed on to have them save my house from slowly crumbling from below, and in October 2010, they arrived to fix my long standing problem. The crew of 4 to 6 people were very nice - professionals who understand how awful it is to both have the problem, and to have to deal with the necessary mess of fixing it. They were both thorough and as clean as can be expected during the days long process. When they finished, the basement smelled fabulous. I marveled at the system they installed that both diverts the water away from the foundation and funnels it into the newly installed sump area where it can be pumped out. They also had excavated (by hand!) around the perimeter of the house, installing a rain and seepage diversion system that means large snowy winters (like the one we're 'enjoying' here in the 10/11 winter...) will not mean additional water problems in spring. This process is not cheap. But quality comes at a quality price. I am happy to recommend Everdry of Toledo to my friends and neighbors here in the area. read more

So before posting this review I read the few previous reviews and wow there are some mixed reviews. We had a high pressure, fast talking salesman come out to our house that we knew had a problem. He sold us a product that was right in line to what we were expecting it to cost. When the crew came out we learned that a lot of what we were sold was not exactly how it was going to go down. The crew leader put on his salesman hat and saved the project. The crew was very professional, and stayed focused on the job the entire week. I have 4 very curious children and the accommodated and maintained there composure whenever the kids had a random thought for them. If I was rating the crew that did the job and not the company as a whole it would be a 10 on this 5 point scale. If you are reading the other reviews and are on the fence when you get to mine let me tell you, be smart about your decision. They came quickly because of a strong odor coming from our crawl space. As far as we know the work is done correctly. The crawl space looks good. They also put new tile around the whole house. A couple of things concerned us. The sales rep said a foreman would always be on site. He was not. The 1st day one guy came. He did a great job but worked alone. The 2nd day the same guy came back with a helper who was new. Both did a good job but the rest of the crew was on another job. Also, the sales rep said once they are gone you'll never know they've been there. Let's just say we had a lot of cleaning to do once they left. Their best worker accidentally cut the well pipe. He replaced it and all is fine but the company made him pay out of his pocket. Pictures were taken but we fear if we have trouble with that pipe they may not take responsibility. Overall we are satisfied with the results. The work is all new so time will tell. read more

Horrible place to work. My sister works for them in the telemarketing section. They are rude. They single people out, they also tell you you are on the chopping block. The manager is two faced and talks to other employees about others behind their backs. They treat you like children. They always say they are a great company to work for and what not but their interviews are misleading.they don't pay you for your bonuses They also pay their customers to leave positive reviews. I know this because I'm a current customer for them and got the call!! I've never seen my sister so stressed out about a job. I don't ever recommend using them for waterproofing either. It took them three months to install my system. All the while I was constantly flooding and my stuff kept getting ruined. They stated they don't have the staff to do it quicker. This review is for the final product of Everdry waterproofing. When I purchased the house, the waterproofing and the bracing of the basement walls had already been completed. I have consistently paid the annual fee for the transferable warranty on the work. I have been very pleased with the work that was completed on our basement. At most, there is some slight seepage in one corner - and even this is only during the heaviest rains. To give some perspective, the house across the street and two others just slightly down the block have had to call restoration services due to severe flooding within the last two years. During this same time period, we've dealt with little to no water in the basement. Additionally, the wall bracing appears secure and seems to have prevented any further bowing. Thus far, I have been very impressed with the workmanship and the final outcome. read more

I have to say I have the ability, as an old carpenter and construction worker, to know when a job is well done. Not that I am an expert is this type of home repair; but I know enough to realize when I am dealing with experts, and the men of the Toledo EverDry company are indeed professionals. From the office staff down to each man on the crew, everyone was courteous, helpful, and accommodating. There were no short cuts taken; if anything the crew would go beyond their commitment to make sure everything was taken care of and done properly. I highly recommend EverDry of Toledo to any business or home owner that wants to end the reissuance of water seeping into their basements and crawl spaces. Day 1: Team showed up on time, a big plus. The foreman talked me through what they were going to do and when. Answered questions and was very professional. The team themselves were very friendly, helpful, and appearances were neat. When I got home, everything had been cleaned up and tools put away. Day 2: Team arrived early, discussed with Jerry the plan for the day. He called me later in the day to discuss additional work. I was happy for the info. Day 3: Team arrived early, were very professional. Jerry met with me and discussed the final days plan. They finished today, on time. Everything was cleaned, put back in order. We have had water problems for years. Tried lots of solutions and spent lots of money over the years but it was never fixed. We had a competitor look and the estimate was really high! Then Everdry Waterproofing Toledo came. They showed up on time, we were surprised they could get here so soon, and did a nice job. Crew was polite, clean, a pleasure to be around. Hard working! Right after they were done we had torrential rains. And we had some issues with water coming in. One call and they were there, found the problem, fixed it then came back a while later to make sure we were satisfied. We couldn't be happier with this company. Bait and switch. First we had a flyer on our door with a local number. I did a reverse look up and turns out it's a Toledo area company but spoofing a local number. The flyer talked about a Free Annual Foundation Inspection. Since we had water recently, I thought I'd get them in and see what they said. The woman on the home wanted my wife to be home. It's a second home and she's not here. Well in that case, it's no longer free. What? Clearly they wanted to do a hard sell with both of us there. I said I simply want the free inspection and then get your ideas on how to address the water, including a quote. No ... that costs money. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Everdry finished our job in 5 days, 2 of which had significant rain. At each stage the work was explained fully as well as what was left to be completed. The work foreman consulted with me extensively on placement of system equipment (including sump, piping, and ventilation equipment) giving both helpful suggestions as well as addressing my concerns. At the end of each day the work site was left in reasonable order. At the end of the job both the exterior and interior sites were cleaned and returned to good condition. I met with an Everdry representative at our local fair. They followed up and set a non-committal appointment. Nick came out and was very professional and informative about the company, process and need. Never did we feel any pressure, or guilt to make any immediate decisions. We had our basement waterproofed by Everdry 25 years ago. We haven't had to call them often (always for a sump pump that stopped working) but every time we have, they have come in a timely manner and fixed the problem. The biggest problem I have is that when we have recommended them to people (and we do quite often because we do believe that Everdry did a good job and our basement is so much better than it ever was before), that we didn't get our referral bonus unless we called them ourselves to ask about it. But that is minor. What is major is my basement has been dry for 25 years. read more

We had Everdry do our foundation back in the early 90's and they came in did their job cleaned up and got out. That crew really worked their butts off! since then they did have to return to inspect what we thought was a problem about 10 years after the original project and fixed the problem no questions asked. They have had to replace our sump pump 2 times again no questions asked. All we pay is a small insurance fee per year and everything is handled hassle free! We bought out house in the Fall of 2012 and were told that our basement was refinished by Everdry Waterproofing. Because my personal training business is in our basement, I needed to know that my equipment would be safe from moisture and water damage. We had Everdry Waterproofing waterproof our basement approx 15 years ago and are still very happy with the outcome. We have a livable basement and don't have to worry about water seeping in during heavy rains. Besides having great waterproofing systems, Everdry also has great customer service. Over the years, we have had normal wear and tear on some of the equipment. One call to their service dept is all that is needed and they come out and fix the problems promptly. EverDry Waterproofing did an excellent job giving us a usable basement. No more water coming in from the floor or walls. And no more wall falling in. Our crew worked very hard every day and was professional and courteous throughout the whole process. Work areas were always picked up and cleaned. My only issues were a couple misunderstandings with the salesman on how many STABLWALL structures they were going to use and sealing up a leak around my well wiring. Before we moved into our home 14 years ago, the owners before us had hired Everdry to seal the basement. We have continued with Everdry and have never had a problem since we have lived here which is more than I can say for some of our poor neighbors who were not covered with Everdry. My experience with everdry Toledo was good and positive when they came to install everything, it wasn't until I had a problem a year later that I really appreciated this company. 1st my basement was old and a complete mess, when it rained I had water spouts coming through the walls. They chased leaked a few times but not once did they complain about coming back. They were always fast to get here, exsplained everything as they went along until my basement was dry.
