They also did not explain any of the equipment well enough ahead of time and gave mixed information about warranties. There was no care for making what they did look good. and I had to ask them numerous time to come back and do what they told me they would do. After numerous trips, it was still done poorly. multiple doors no longer close. I will have to replace flooring in the entire basement, they did not consult with me on locations for the humidex or the sump pump making plans to add a bathroom more difficult. In Reading the Manuel for the humidex it appears they did not properly install it. Perhaps I just had bad luck as no one else seemed to have these same problems, but this has been a very expensive headache.

I saw New Window Elite's TV commercial and since I was in the market to replace builder grade windows, I gave them a call. New Window Elite was my 3rd quote for 7 standard sized double-hung windows. The window is nice but of my 3 sales pitches, I felt theirs fell in the middle in terms of quality. The salesperson was knowledgeable and answered my questions. Initially, he gave me a quote of $1,100 per window but when I told him I would think about it, he reduced the total cost by $1,000, making it $957.14 per window. As with the quality, the adjusted price fell within the middle of my 3 quotes so I accepted. A contract was signed and I took a picture of all provided documents. Upon further review of the contract, no price was included, meaning we technically don't have a contract. Additionally, articles 1-3 of the contract (out of 7) were not provided. My other 2 quotes were upfront pricing. I wish New Window did the same rather than negotiate. I was told that someone would be out to take exact measurements but as of a week after the contract was signed, nobody has contacted me. My credit card was charged for the agreed upon 50% down. Now, on to my rating. Two stars were removed because I subsequently went to their website and saw that it states that the New Window Elite Price for a double-hung window is $300-$450. The sales pitch stated that installation is included in the price so I have to assume it is on their website as well. If this is the case, their advertising is simply not true. With the exception of 4 mullions (support between the windows), the window sizes are standard and the install will be on a ranch-style home. Nothing unusual. The other 2 companies both quoted me at $50 per mullion so I know they aren't outrageously priced. This review is neither positive nor negative but just a means of sharing my experience to others who are considering using New Window Elite. As previously mentioned, my review of the windows and process will be posted once the windows are installed.
