I originally came here because my adult daughter (who has dental phobia) came here and got great, compassionate care. I have stayed because the dentists are great. I've seen each one but especially like Kaur. Facility is easy to access as person in a large body and with mobility limitations. Handicapped parking is right by the front door! I love that they offer same day crowns. The front desk staff are friendly and super helpful too. I have gum disease that got a lot worse when I couldn't get care during COVID. This practice has gotten me back on track, no hint of shame, and my mouth is much happier. read more

I went to this dentist for my annual checkup. I recently moved to Everett, and my old dentist in Bothell was too far away. They did a mediocre job the first time around. The dentist, Aniya, was passive-aggressive and condescending. The dental assistant who polished and flossed my teeth was incompetent--he left more floss in my teeth than he had left on the spool. I floss multiple times per day with no issues. When my next scheduled appointment came around in November, I decided to give them another chance--maybe they were just having a bad day. So, I clicked on the email they sent me and checked in for my appointment. The next time I went in, they performed a non-FDA-approved "gum active matrix" test, claiming my gums were a mess and that I needed a deep cleaning. I researched deep cleaning, which is also not approved by the dental association. I found only about half a dozen articles supporting its benefits, and there's no standard procedure for it. However, I found over 140,000 articles calling deep cleaning a scam. The fact is, I do have two areas in my mouth with little or no gums because I had crown lengthening surgery--something she should clearly be aware of. Since I refused her outrageous claims about my gums and would not consent to an unscientific procedure, I was told I could no longer be her patient. The office staff also lacks professionalism. I used the app to check in and confirm my appointment, yet they couldn't find my information until I showed them the confirmation emails on my phone. There was also confusion about my insurance--I had to email them a new PDF of my coverage, even though this was my second visit and my insurance was already accepted and paid during my first. I have been going here for a year. They have treated my pain with pain meds. But they use 3rd party specialist for extraction and root canals. This guy tries telling me I'll just need tylonal and steroids for pain. Really sucks I have to find a new dentist for anything more than a filling. Why can't dentist just treat the pain they cause instead off arguing with me about my pain. read more

Let me preface this by saying: I have really, really bad anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist or anything dental related, so much so that I ended up neglecting my dental health for years by not visiting a dentist. Before coming in for my first visit I let the staff know about my anxiety/concerns, and when I came in for my appointment, Dr. Aniya Lohia and her staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on. Dr.Lohia is very skilled, and is also very kind. She was also very quick with what she had to do, and all of her staff are very well trained and very good at their profession. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to my next visit to the dentist. read more

I noticed during my last visit earlier this month that the dentist wasn't actually taking thorough depth measurements when assessing my gums, just pushing up one or twice per tooth while saying 3 different numbers to the assistant. I guess the quality of the work goes down when you complain about the business practices at a place like this (see below)... Luckily there are a million dentists out there. Recently, they had a promotion where they ask you to donate money and then claim that you're going to get $100 off of dental work. I was excited as I had visits coming up! What they don't tell you is that in the tiny fine print at the bottom of the page it says that it only applies to procedures, not to dental work, periodontal work, cleanings, x-rays... basically anything that a normal person goes to the dentist for. But why would they do this? It's because they get a tax write off on the money that you donate. Plan on having surgery this year? Exactly. They collect the write-off, and then they never have to lose any money because you will never end up getting to use the money that you supposedly have towards future dental stuff. When I pointed this out, she offered to REFUND THE DONATION. What?! The donation isn't the issue, the misleading money making tactics are. read more

I stopped in last week to buy bleach for my bleach trays and they sold me a container with 4 Opalescence PF 20% syringes-- $100. It came with no instructions so I just googled it and they're sold everywhere else (including amazon) for $30. Also, every time I've gone I've waited 30-45 minutes past my appointment time in the chair for the dentist to come in and they've had treatment items that they told me to stop at the front desk for an estimate and to schedule for and I've left after 20 minutes of waiting at the front desk for this stuff. Lastly, when I originally got my bleach tray impressions they told me I'd get a phone call when they were ready and a month went by without so I called and they were waiting at the front desk for me. :( read more

The experience was very nice as a new patient. The downtime while waiting did seem a little lengthy, but it was Saturday morning, so I think that's typical. Still, the office was clean and the equipment was state of the art. Staff was very friendly. I'm very well pleased with this place! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a joke, I was told the procedure would be 2 hours max and we have been here over 4 hours. The staff keep injecting my mouth with novacaine and then leaving the room for 20 mins. 4 hours and the filling is not done or the crown fitted! When I ask what is happening they try to say it's my fault that I should have read the forms--signed electronically so I didn't have a form to read! Do not recommend this office, find another dental clinic. I have another appointment next month that I will be cancelin, I will never come here again. read more

After having been a patient for years, their old dentist left, leaving us with a new one that was beyond sub par. She told me I had extensive damage and deep pockets and she couldn't even perform a regular cleaning on me. She would have to use the laser as it was so bad. As someone who has NEVER had oral problems, this sounded so off that I decided to seek a second opinion. Sure enough, my new dentist gave me a perfect bill of health, said I had NO deep pockets and performed my regular cleaning quickly and without issue. These people are after your money. HIGHLY recommend Everett Modern Dentistry!! Their company is the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. Their front desk staff are so friendly, accommodating, and nice. The dental team are knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and empathetic. I hadn't been to a dentist since COVID so my teeth needed to be deep cleaned. I was nervous about the procedure, and my dentist had no problem reassuring me and helping me with medication for my anxiety. My favorite part of their office is the warm, fuzzy blankets. You can tell they actually care about their patients and are honest with your treatment plan!! Very affordable as well. 10/10 recommend !! read more

At first my experience was good. Love Dr. Doyle, oral surgeon. Full mouth extractions, bone grafting, aveloplasty, immediated dentures with the plan to do snap-in implants at least on the top. I guess I wasn't ready for the snap- ins fast enough, plus I had/have other problems with the immediates, the visits started being rushed and I wasn't being heard by my dentist, which got addressed and was better for a couple of visits, then it went back to not being heard and being rushed. Fast-forward I ended up getting new immediates made (no cost to me) because the original sat crooked in my mouth, no fault of mine or the dentist. But she had a different lab make them, and they are no where near the quality of the original ones, of which I paid for preimum dentures. I feel like the replacements should be the same quality since it was the lab that made them crooked. I can't even wear the new one because the end of the upper at the back of my throat doesn't sit flat on the roof of my mouth. I do have bad tori, but the originals stay put with the soft reline, I can eat pizza and everything with them. The new one doesn't stay in, and it makes me gag because of the shelf, for lack of a better term, in the back of my throat. The teeth are horrible, which I told her several times I didn't like them before signing off, but because she kept telling me at every try in 'it's just wax, it won't be like that', I trusted her. And here I am. I wasn't even able to tell her about the shelf thing because of the rush, and she ended up referring me to someone else because I'm a complicated case due to the tori. Nothing like starting over mid way through a major thing. read more

DONT EVER GO HERE FOR AN EMERGENCY!!! I drove all the way to Everett from Stanwood because this was the only place that advertised that they were opened. I booked an appointment on Sunday. I drove through the snow to get here and got there 30 minutes early. Only to find out that they were closed. I called and called their phones but no answers. I finally got through to their franchise hotline, and the guy called their office manager and tried to call around but they didn't pick up either. We did NOT receive a cancellation email or call. We did NOT hear from them at all with any indication that they were closed. This was such a inconvenience and disappointment because they literally booked an appointment. This is super unreliable of them. I will NEVER go here or ever recommend this place. The least they could've done was sent me an email or gave me a call. read more

I saw these guys on 4/26 for what should have been a simple and routine reline of my upper and lower dentures. They ruined my dentures completely. Very painful to wear plus they won't stay in. After my second visit to get adjustments I complained that I could not eat and was in a lot of pain. Their response to me was to say, "we will give you your money back if you sign a paper releasing them from all accountability". Wow, no way. They kicked me to the curb. I still can't eat and I'm still in pain. I only wear them when I have to go outside. And they still want money instead of being responsible for what they have done to me. WARNING: These people do not care about you or if they hurt and injure you. They only care about money. They don't care about quality. I thought I had found a dentist that was easy to work with financially as well as did good work. they do NOT! I have paid them thousands of dollars and after doing some research I understand they are horrible at doing build ups correct for crowns. I had a crown and root canel done, months later the cap fell of. I've had a lot of dental work done and paying $2000 should not result in being told after the crown falls out that it's because there was nothing to post it to !!! why do the work !! I have now talked to numerous patients there that had the same problem. Don't walk- run away from them. read more

I probably spent at least twenty minutes just chatting with Dr. Kaur and her assistant between my exam and cleaning. I had a dental emergency and they accepted me immediately. They provided efficient effective service with excellent chair side manner. Front desk staff, dental assistants and dentists each were kind, careful, and compassionate. Every step was explained in detail throughout the procedure to help ease my anxiety. I felt I was an active participant in my care but guided by the experts in what I needed without being forced into an option I wasn't comfortable with. I just moved to the area less than 6 months ago and hadn't found a dentist. I have no reason to look any further. Female managed and operated is icing on the cake! Dr. Kaur was So wonderful!!! Her Team is fantastic and took great care of me. I have had to change dentists a lot recently due to moving around but I can confidently say this was by far the best experience I have had in a dental office. The office is beautiful and everyone spent the time to make me feel comfortable especially since I have a huge fear of the dentist. The cleaning experience was painless. They worked with me on my finances and I was able to get most of the work done in one visit. Dr. Kaur took the time to explain everything to me and gave me options. I went in 5 months ago to have a tooth extraction and implant done. They pulled the tooth and did the bone graph. I went in yesterday to get the stud put in but the bone graph was not done correctly. They had to redo it for free since it was their mistake. The stiches are in odd places compared to last time it was done. They come out in between two other teeth. This is causing me to go through extreme pain. After trying to get ahold of the surgeon all day he finally called back after 6 1/2 hours. He said its normal to be in this much pain. I am almost out of pain killers. I requested more and he said he cant in good conscious give me more because a patient from last week snorted them and went to the hospital. This should have nothing to do with me!!! I told him its ridiculous hes dictating my situation based off someone elses. He told me "im a fucking idiot if i don't understand" and that he was going to remove me from getting treatment at the office. I am beyond confused as to why he escalated the situation so badly. I am amazed how unprofessional he is. I have never been talked to this way by a so called professional. So now i guess i lay here all weekend in pain since there is nothing I can do. Don't ever use The dental surgeon named Dr. Doyle. He should have his license revoked for treating patients this way. I will be going in to another surgeon to see about these stitches. I really feel like they weren't done correctly. Maybe a lawsuit is just around the corner. read more

I have been going to Lynnwood Modern Dentistry for a couple of years, but was so happy when I noticed a new location going in closer to home. Dr. Kaur and her staff were wonderful and welcoming. I appreciate that they offer early appointments so I don't need to miss work. They have so much new technology that improves the speed of service and helps keep costs low, which I really appreciate since I don't have dental insurance.
