I would not recommend this office if you prefer a dentist that places maximizing dollars and uneeded services over your health.

I have had 2 caps done now that have ended in having to have root canals done. Both on teeth with silver fillings they said should be replaced when I was having no tooth pain- each has cost me $2000 and were unnecessary read more

This is by far THE BEST dental office and team I've ever experienced, and maybe the best run local business I've ever witnessed. I've moved twice to towns further away from MDC and I continue to come here for treatments & procedures simply because I TRUST Dr. Nhi Pham and her staff. Their attention to detail and high level of care is consistent, from the moment you enter the office to the moment you check out. Professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and honest. I am by far impressed with this dentist office and Dr. Vs entire team from front desk to the dentist chair. The staff works as a team, I've never seen nothing like it at any dental office. Everyone is so respectful of one another and leans in to help promptly. My experience from my first visit of a cleaning to the next of getting work done was the absolute most comfortable experience I've ever had at a dentist. Service: the service here is incredible! From walking in to during my appointment, I was only greeted with smiles. During my service, I had the chance to watch Netflix! It was such a great experience! Nothing seemed forced which my interactions with the staff. The dentist, Dr. Morris, and my hygienist, Breanne, were fantastic. They answered all my questions and offered suggestions for concerns. They accepted my dental insurance without any issues and took care of all those logistics from the new patient form I filled out prior to my appointment. Best dental experience of my life at the Mukilteo Dental Center. I've been actively avoiding going to the dentist for the past few years due to related anxiety, but my partner finally convinced me to give Mukilteo Dental Center a try. I've had three appointments in the past three weeks, and I worked with Dr. Pham & Luu-Tran. I was very moved by how kind and accommodating they were. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and the ladies are the front are so nice! The waiting area is bright and inviting. The team in the back is so quick and efficient. I hated my dentist growing up so having providers who try to get to know you and don't judge you for what dental concerns that may arise. All of my cleanings have been super thorough and there's not a hygienist I've had that I didn't like! I've had fillings by Dr. Morris and Dr. Luu where you couldn't even feel the prick of the needle because they numbed me up so well. What a great dental experience. Went 2 days in a row lol. Ok well I didn't my husband did I sat and watched. They were so good with him and answered all my questions about his dental care from on out. Very friendly staff. Very welcoming and comforting. I went there today with "Old man Baghdad" teeth and left with clean white ones. My work partner recommended this place so I decided to go as it's right on my way to work. I'm making a stop here every 6 months now. They work like a well oiled machine and are ON TIME! if you can believe that. The office is super modern and upbeat and you can even watch a monitor on the ceiling while being treated. They offer everything up to and including Netflix. They didn't pressure me too much either about additional services beyond why I went there but made meaningful recommendations. They deserve my 5 stars for sure. read more

I have been going to MDC for a long time. She was in the small house in Mukilteo lol. Although they have since moved twice and are now much more fancy. I love the new location and updated equipment. If I could give -5 start I could. This was our to go spot. But lately staff changed and to make book an appt it's between 2 in half or in a month. Even if you have pain. They charge crazy amount of money for crown it's 1,700 somewhere around there with no insurance coverage. You gotta pay the exact amount of money that same day. They don't make payments plans & charge you for everything little thing. I came here for a toothache like a year ago cool they check out all they did was build it up apparently that's what I need it. Okay very little pain cool a year pass and my tooth crack & I was in pain. On the same tooth, apparently the doctor couldn't find anything wrong. Said it wasn't crack I showed her in the X-ray where it was cracked apparently she couldn't see it, everything looked normal. There was never a crack she said. I explained I felt it and the little piece came off & it hurt.She said I was good send me home get medication over the counter. 3 moths pass by & the pain I have pain but it stared to get little more painful. Went back & got different person, same thing it's not crack she can't help me with my pain Bc she doesn't see anything wrong with It ! I showed her in the x-ray that they took showed her the spot where it's hurt you could see that it got cracked & it got chipped. She got irritated with me & told her I was in pain I know it was crack i could feel the difference. Her attitude change she was very irritated with me. I was trying explain my pain. So basically tells she can't do nothing she could build it up but later on I'm going need a crown. Ugh! Once again I gotta take pain medication over the counter. Okay few weeks pass I start getting the same pain in the same tooth it was more painful I couldn't sleep and eat. I went somewhere else & My tooth was cracked. This other place had better x-rays tech. You could see the crack it wasn't a small crack it big one. It's was the same spot I've been complaining where you could see in the fucking x-ray that my tooth was crack. I ended up getting root canal bc it got infected. This other place has better payments for root canal and Crown m, it is some what pricy but crazy expensive like here where everything so over crazy priced. Save your money they will max out your insurance plans for stupid stuff. read more

Their office seems to be more concerned about milking your insurance money and was trying to get my money upfront for procedures that I would not need. BEWARE... they will bill you for things you won't need. They basically Stereotype you and try get you into appointment that suits their needs. This place is built for bulk and speed. They are the best. Simple. I hate the dentist and have no insurance, haven't wanted to play that game. Wisdom teeth come I and destroy other teeth and I am caught. Infections and pain, perfect chance to take everything I have. Instead, they give me an incredible deal and use methods that save me a fortune. I find out I have a world class doctor working on me and he was incredible. The staff treated me like family and I was out so reasonably on cost I feel like I ripped them off. So painless and fast, comfortable and respectful. Did you know the chairs have TVs and Netflix on the ceiling for you? They didn't try to sell me more stuff, they didnt want to sign me up, they just took care of me. I have never even heard of a dental experience like this. If I was writing the review based on the congeniality of the staff my rating would be 5 stars. This rating is based on quality of service. I first went the because I had tooth pain and they said I needed a crown which is a two visit process. After the first visit tooth debris was left in my mouth. On the second visit a cotton roll was left in my mouth. Also Dr Luu-Tran could not get my tooth numb. Dr Pham tried to assist but to no avail. It was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I was going to look for a new dentist but I procrastinated and came in about a year later with tooth pain. They squeezed me in for an examine and cleaning. First the x-rays. Dr Pham instructed the assistant to give me two extra x-rays but not to charge me for them. When I hear something like this, it's often the case that I am about to be fleeced and that is what happened, but it wasn't the only problem. The assistant tried three times to x-ray my back right teeth but each time x-rayed the wrong area. When a more experienced person came to assist with the x-ray she said something to the affect that it was my fault that the assistance x-rayed the wrong place. So in all, it took 4 x-rays to get it right. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have stopped after the second x-ray. I am wondering about how safe it is to x-ray the same spot 4 times in one visit. X-rays were follow by a very superficial cleaning which took Dr Pham about 5 minutes. At the time I was thinking my gums must be in great shape. She then proceeded with the exam and measured the pocket depths of less than 10 of the teeth and told the assistant that the rest were 3s and 4s without measuring. I was told that my gums needed deep cleaning. Since only a few, if any, of my teeth yield blood when cleaning I was suspicious and got a second opinion. According to my current dentist my gums look awesome. Dr Pham also said several teeth needed to be filled and wanted to start work in an area where I wasn't having pain, which in my opinion represented a complete lack of empathy. Because I was in pain I consented to having three teeth filled in the area of pain. Dr Luu-Tran patiently filled them. To Dr Luu-Tran I give 4 stars, but 1 star to Dr Pham who is dishonest. read more

My family and I have been patients of Mukilteo Dental Center for well over a decade. It's impossible to explain the energy of this office, but its infectious! I genuinely enjoy coming to this office because its incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with modern technology for our care. There are MANY anecdotes that I could share regarding the truly exceptional experiences I've had and observed, but the most meaningful experience has been watching the process of my mothers smile getting restored. She has needed periodontal work for many years, and she always struggled to find an office with staff and tools that would be reliable to complete the work, but also affordable. She has been truly blessed to have found both components in this office to feel comoftable with moving forward. She can finally eat crunchy food again! Many thanks to Dr. Pham and Dr. Scott for their care, and for all of the wonderful staff who have been just incredible resources for my mom. Wow - first, at a standard cleaning I was talked into fillers because my teeth were stained. I asked repeatedly if I had cavities and they didn't really answer but said the staining was a problem. So, I got the fillers (and still hate how my teeth feel three months later) and was only then, after receiving the service, notified that my insurance wouldn't cover it so I needed to pay $126. I recently received an additional bill from them for an additional $38, which included a finance charge, even though they'd never billed me before. When I called to pay (since there's no option to pay online), they added ANOTHER finance charge, even though I was paying over a week before the due date. To sum up, unnecessary services, hidden fees, inconvenient to pay. No thank you. read more

I'm a cash paying customer and was promised at least 5% off. I could've gotten a better deal elsewhere even with this discount but I chose them anyway due to their high ratings. (They did not give the 5% discount!) Next day: I'm changing my review to be more positive as they did work at correcting their error today. I still disagree with how much they charge for basic services to cash paying customers. I do appreciate their high standards however I believe more generosity should be given to cash customers, and the freedoms afforded to both parties therein. However, For the more serious mouth issues, these guys are very fair and excellent in skills and service. I'll use them again if I have any serious mouth issues, but for basic maintenance, I'll be moving on. If you're paying cash, COMMUNICATION with the staff is a must! Make sure if you're going in for one thing like teeth cleaning, make sure to ask them upfront how much it costs and what they are doing!!! BREAK IT DOWN! I.e. I sent my son in for just a teeth cleaning expecting to pay around $160 as that is the high end average cost, BUT I GOT A BILL FOR about $250! I saw later the added services they performed in which I never agreed too. I understand they have their standards and own procedures, however, they should've communicated that to us. We didn't get x-rays or want anything except just his teeth cleaned. In conclusion: This is a good place. They need a little more practice in working with cash paying customers and communication; but their dental SKILLS are impressive and their overall customer service is good. read more
