I took my grandson for his first ride on a Segway. This was his first time and he was really looking g forward to it. He was NOT DISAPPOINTED!! As for myself, it's not true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. We all were given one on one help in the parking lot after thorough instructions. Then we rode around the lot until we felt comfortable. We then proceeded to go out on a tour. This is where things got a little dicey, but only for me!! I apparently was suffering from heat stroke. I hollered to stop and our group all stopped immediately. I didn't know if I was going to pass out or get sick first!! Connie (I believe that was our tour director's name was) asked me what was happening and took me (& my segway) over to a shady spot. She gave me the option to have someone come and get me or to just ride as someone towed me back to headquarters. There was no way I could ride back on the Segway. She had me wait after cooling down with cold water. Someone from the office arrived with in minutes. The rest of the group went ahead and finished their tour. The man that picked me up, didn't seem particularly happy about it. He seemed rather gruff but maybe that's just his nature. When he returned from getting my Segway, he did tell me to come into the air-conditioning and gave me a bottle of water. I would definitely do this again...on a cooler day!! My grandson has been talking about it for days ( andall the history he picked up on his tour!) Don't think twice about it...it really was fun!! read more

Our Segway Tour with Taylor this past weekend in Naples was absolutely fantastic! Right from the beginning, he made us feel comfortable and felt like we were friends. He was very thorough and upfront about all the safety requirements and once we got going, he really showed us how much fun it could be to segway through keen areas of the city. His narration and fun facts about all the sites we were seeing was really interesting, and that's coming from someone who is a native Floridian and has been to Naples many times over the past 30 years. Taylor really showed his love for what he does and, once again, we could not have been happier feeling very privileged to tour on segways with him. We loved everything about our tour with Segway of Naples! We were greeted warmly upon arrival and our tour guide, Carl, was UNBELIEVABLE! He shared so many interested facts about Naples (facts that would resonate with nearly everyone!) - it was such an engaging tour! He started off by giving us a thorough tutorial on how to ride the segway, then took us out at the perfect pace. We made tiny pitstops along the way to check out various points of interest, including Naples Pier when we actually got off the segway to stretch our legs and enjoy the views. We recently visited Naples, FL and did a Segway tour. Brian was our tour guide. This is actually the second time we have done this tour and we were lucky enough to get Brian both times. He is an excellent tour guide! He is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to tell us much about the history and other interesting bits of information . We have done Segway tours in many cities and this tour is one of the best we have ever done! I highly recommend this company as their equipment is far superior to and much better maintained than other companies we have used. I would also highly recommend asking for Brian for his knowledge of the area and his ability to make new riders comfortable with the machine. read more

You never know what your getting into with this kind of stuff. This tour was awesome. My parents in the 60s had never ridden a Segway and learned in 29 seconds. After the tour my father in law ordered two he found on the web Tom rise in when they get back home. Our guide was great and she knew everything about Naples. She was super fun and really took the time to make sure we had a great time! We stopped half way through at the pier and saw a dolphin and some other cool fish. She even went above and beyond and showed us a few really cool places that aren't on the normal tour. Advantage of doing it in the off season. bottom line,, if you even thinking about it??? Fabulous Segway Tour, not to be missed May 2025 * Family This is the second time I have been on this Segway tour, with the guide Chris. Again, it was so much fun. My husband and father had concerns they would not be able to balance, but with Chris's Instructions, guidance and patience we were soon on our way. Our safety is Chris's main concern, and looks after us well, as we go through downtime. Naples, with his historical knowledge we learnt so much. My husband and father said it's one of the best things they have done. So different, and yet so much fun. I would not hesitate to use Naples Segway Tours, and will return. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Naples and the surrounding area. He kept it up beat with side notes that were not necessarily historical, but gave insight into the uniqueness of Naples. Safety was a priority from the start to make sure everyone was comfortable and he made it a point when to slow down, where to turn and blocked traffic well in advance of the maneuver. The ear piece worn inside the helmet was easy to control for volume and made lis extremely easy and relaxing. He even recommended a great place for lunch walking distance from the tour stop. my girlfriend and I had a great time. Highly recommended!! read more

My husband and I went on the Segway tour and HAD THE BEST TIME EVER!!!! Everyone that works here is absolutely wonderful, so kind, and we loved our instructor and guide Chris - he was awesome, so much fun, taught us extremely interesting things we never knew about Naples, and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease - even though we were both first time Segway riders!! We celebrated my son's 40th birthday with a Segway Tour with Carl as our guide. 3/5 in our party had never been on a Segway. Carl was an excellent teacher and after a personalized training for each rider, everyone was ready to go. We had a great tour with the headsets allowing us to hear Carl without any difficulty. It was fun and informative. He did a great job sharing history and interesting facts about the areas we toured. He was cognizant of everyone's safety throughout the entire tour. Brian was a fantastic guide! He was patient and easy-going throughout the entire tour. This was our 1st time to Naples, so he was happy to answer questions about the area and gave recommendations for what to see, where to shop & what to eat. The Segway tour itself was awesome! He made sure our safety was priority and we got to see many interesting sights. My only recommendation is to wear supportive tennis shoes - I didn't and my feet started hurting. Safety was Priority 1 and started with learning how to operate the machine ... I felt comfortable after 2 minutes of test driving in the open lot (not bad for a 62 year old... the 13 year old first-timer was proficient in 60 seconds). Guide was knowledgeable of historical sites and always had an eye on our surroundings. I never felt unsafe thanks to the clear-tone headset each rider wore which kept us alert to every upcoming turn or stop or picture taking spot. It was thrilling from start to end. read more

Segways are so much fun and a great way to learn about an area in a short amount of time, SO much better than Google! My husband and I try to do segway tours any time we travel, so we've been on a few. My wife, Brenda, and I had an enjoyable time on this tour. We booked for first thing in the morning and there was only one other person in our group, which was quite nice. It was Brenda's first time riding a Segway (I chickened out and went with the trike option). Not only was it nice to move around Naples on a Segway, but our guide, Carl made all the difference in the world. Chris, our guide was so patient, compassionate, cautious and protective of his tour group. My son was a bit timid and Chris brought him along the whole tour. My son is 6'3" and 250#. Chris is a professional on the Segway.He gave us lots of history and facts about Naples. Saw many sites. You can tell he loves his job. Highly recommend this excursion in Naples. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, really liked him. The Segways are also easier to control and more fun to drive than I expected. It also lasted a good amount of time, a little over an hour, enough time to see a lot of things but not so long you got tired of it. Would definitely recommend this if you're just looking for a quick, fun thing to do and get a feel for the area and some of the history. read more

The Segway tour was the best new experience I ever faced! At first, I was nervous like crazy. I was the smallest tad close to bailing, but when I practiced more I got used to it and became in love with riding on it. The places we saw and areas we visited made it the time of my life!
