Very disappointing experience with the front desk staff. I can't comment on the dentists since my appointment was canceled for no reason. In March, I made an appointment for May 28th as a first time client. Shortly after scheduling, I received a text asking if I'd be interested in an opening sooner to which I replied yes. I provided my availability and stated I was flexible and could come most afternoons. I received a reply shortly after asking if I'd like to come the next day for a morning appt. Um no. I had already clearly stated I could do AFTERNOONS. Two weeks later I get a call and then a text asking if I'd like to be added to the "ASAP list". I thought I already was?! I was contacted AGAIN a few days later asking about my availability. How many times do I have to spell out I can come in the afternoons?! By this point, they're too much and I ask that they take me off the list. It's too much communication. May 27th comes along and I realize I've received no communication about my appointment on the 28th. I text them to find out they canceled my appointment. I NEVER told them to cancel my appointment. I simply didn't want to be constantly bothered about their "ASAP list". It's really unacceptable that they canceled an appointment I waited almost 3 months for. I was really hoping to have a good dentist 5 minutes from my house but no such luck. I was not interested in rescheduling as I completely lost trust in this office. read more

Good luck getting an appointment if you have to reschedule. I was told the first available appointment was in NOVEMBER for a basic teeth cleaning appointment for mid May. That is simply absurd. They shouldn't take on so many new patients if they can't offer routine cleanings within a timely manner. I have no choice but to go somewhere else that won't penalize me for having to reschedule two weeks in advance. Not worth the hassle if there is no long term availability. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a space that immediately puts you at ease. It has this clean, intentional aesthetic that's really inviting. The staff was warm and welcoming from the start. Moises greeted me promptly, and check-in was completely seamless. What really stood out was how friendly and composed he was throughout the entire visit, from check-in all the way through checkout. Even when things got busy, he handled everything with a smile and stayed genuinely pleasant the whole time. They have a great team here. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking, so zero stress getting there. If you have kids, this place has you covered. They offer Netflix during appointments, so little ones are totally entertained. It makes the whole experience so much more manageable for parents. The dental care itself was excellent. The cleaning and exam felt thorough, and the dentist genuinely takes the time to check in with you, ask about any concerns, and make you feel like a priority. It's not just like you're another appointment on the schedule. His hygienists handle the polishing and finish-up work, and the whole process flows really well. And the cherry on top was a warm mango-scented towel after my cleaning!!! Yes for real!! It's a small touch, but it's the kind of detail that makes you feel taken care of in a way you really don't expect at the dentist. It took me back to experiences at the spa. The room has a TV screen on the front and on the ceiling where you can watch Netflix which I thought was a fun touch! I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lee to have two teeth filled based on the examination and X-rays taken the week before, which indicated that only two teeth required treatment. However, after the procedure had already begun, the dentist informed me that two additional teeth supposedly needed fillings. This was concerning because the dentist had already reviewed comprehensive images of my teeth and had not previously mentioned any issues with those additional teeth. Being in the middle of the procedure, I felt pressured to make an immediate decision without adequate time to consider the recommendation or seek a second opinion. As a result, I reluctantly agreed to have four teeth filled instead of the two originally planned. The sudden change in the treatment plan, combined with the timing of the recommendation, left me questioning whether the additional work was truly necessary. Very frustrating experience with One Dental. They moved our appointment up, but sent a confirmation for 3:00 PM while their internal system showed 2:00 PM. We took time off work specifically for this. The front desk clerk didn't apologize and couldn't solve the problem. I had an appointment on Thursday 2/19 which was great cause I called that same week to ask for one. I was like 12 mins late for my appointment, but they were ok with that. The location was clean and everyone seemed very nice and helpful. They also have tvs on the wall and on the ceiling which was nice while they cleaned my teeth. The woman that cleaned my teeth was helpful and gave me some tips after hearing my issue. I forgot her name unfortunately. Toward the end when she was flossing my teeth, I did feel like she rushed a little. I was guessing maybe they only had an hour per patient. Also when applying the fluoride to my teeth she did it messy but maybe because I am use to my regular dental office visits that I have been going to since I was a little girl. It has gotten a bit far since I moved so I decided to try a new location based off my location and yelp reviews. I couldn't give 5 stars because of the rushing at the end which I did not like. I needed to find a dentist as I had recently just moved to San Jose. If you're looking for a dentist with a clean and modern office with new technology, look no further! The staff here are very friendly and answered all of my questions on my treatment. I was also really surprised that Dr. Kim did my cleaning himself since there were dental hygienists, but he mentioned that they have a small team and all work together. I absolutely love that they have a front facing and top facing TV to watch Netflix so that you are well entertained during your appointment. The only thing that I I do want to note is that I waited a little longer for my cleaning, and I also didn't get a toothbrush, goody bag that I would typically get at other dentists. I'm not sure if they forgot since I did see photos that they do have that here. I had a good experience during my first visit at One Dental today. Dr.Lee was my dentist. He was pretty good, I liked the fact that he suggested nothing unnecessary. He didn't even mention about Invisalign, which all dentists randomly pressure us into so far. For my wisdom tooth, he said do whenever I want (but later said bottom ones get done soon if possible as it's hitting next teeth), but didn't panic me saying oh do it asap blah blah and all. He cleaned my teeth of all the stains successfully! Office was very nice and they had TV on the roof to watch while you get your dental work done. During the winter, the scheduling wait can be up to 2+ months, but that seems normal for an in-demand dental office. I went in for a check up and cleaning, and Dr. Lee and Jasmine did a wonderfully thorough job. They communicated every step, and were mindful of my teeth sensitivities. The office staff are extremely pleasant. Changing appointments dates can be a bit challenging since they are busy. They can wait list you and I've been seen much sooner than the changed date. I had an urgent toothache and gum inflammation that developed in the last 24 hours. I called up One Dental hoping they could slot me in asap for an emergency visit, as my regular dentist was not available and the pain was getting worse. Dr. Soolim Lee took a couple of x-rays, gave me a quick exam, explained what he thought was going on in that area of my mouth, and advised next steps. He referred me to an Endodontist as well as a Periodontist, to investigate further and rule out the need for a root canal or underlying gum issues, as the x-rays did not reveal any cavities or visible cracking. He also gave me a prescription for antibiotics and an oral rinse to treat the infection. He was very kind to make it a complimentary visit (even with x-rays!), which is unheard of in all my years of seeing dentists. If that's not amazing enough, when I went to pick up the meds at Walgreens, his staff even texted me a code I could use so that I don't overpay for the meds, as I do not have dental insurance. I'm really grateful to Dr. Lee and his team at One Dental for understanding my urgency and responding quickly, for not taking advantage of the emergency to stick me with a huge bill, and for going the extra mile to make sure I'm taken care of at the pharmacy. I'm really happy with my experience at One Dental. Even though I don't enjoy dentist visits (but who does?), this was as good as it gets, pain and all. read more

Had my first Visit today and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast everything was and how nice the people were. I have had some bad experiences with dentists before so I looked around for a while before picking this place, and luckily the reviews seemed to be accurate. Place is clean and well staffed, and the person at the front desk did not have the usual attitude of treating customers like a burden which a lot of medical facilities seem to have. I was especially impressed with the fact that the Dentist went over with the x rays and photographs they took and explained what needed to be done.
