Had these guys recommended to us to come unclog a kitchen drain. He asked to come early but still…read morearrived an hour late, started ripping apart the drain without a bucket to catch the water and then laying the nasty dirty pipes on our 6' long woven kitchen mat, rather than a blanket, a paper towel or even the tile floor. The snake did not work and actually got stuck for awhile but that's because the pipes were very bad & could not be unclogged as it was legitimately bad 70 yr old galvanized pipes completely corroded and blocked. So, after multiple methods & tries, I agreed that we needed to replace about 10' of old galvanized pipe with PVC and the basic older PVC drain components under the sink. Understandably, they could not come back until the following day since the scope of work had changed. The actual plumber (very nice guy, decent work, but VERY MESSY) scheduled his return for 8:30 the next day, and estimated 4 hrs of work for $1,100 + materials, tbd. As we were left without a kitchen sink, since he got us in for the next morning & was recommended by a friend and fellow plumber, I agreed to the high labor estimate, knowing it there was a chance that it could take more than 4 hrs and signed for the labor, while my wife spent 2 hrs that night cleaning our kitchen mat from drain grease. Next morning, I had to go to work so my wife took the day off. Midmorning, I'm getting texts from her asking for his number as no one had shown up and I had not heard anything. Again, over an hour late, but shows up and gets the job done in about 2.5 hrs. As he's leaving, he asks for almost $1,500. She says, ok, please just give me the break-down for the materials. He has to call the office, puts my wife on the phone with the brother who refuses to provide an itemized list of material costs. Plumber leaves, wife pays the agreed upon labor charge of $1,100 for 4 hrs that took 2.5, no questions asked. Wife says she will pay materials, even marked up materials, if she is given a breakdown (again, this was 10' of 2-1/2" PVC and a few fittings). Mind you, I'm an Executive Construction Project Manager for nearly 20 yrs. I receive an email with a list of random items, no prices, including boxes of rags, latex gloves, boxes of glue, etc. I tell wife to get a real breakdown before settling after already paying the inflated labor cost. My wife then receives a barrage of texts threatening escalation unless "agreed upon" material costs are not paid...but no materials were agreed upon and they refused to provide material details. I get out of work and start receiving the same texts...for hundreds of dollars of materials that they refuse to itemize. On top of that, the mess left was insane and I later found he left a 6" piece of old nasty piping in the wall that I had opened up for them, stinking up the bsmt, dripping old grease down the walls. Never again...talk about choosing their battles Talk about choosing your battles...and knowing when to stop arguing with customers.

Instead, what followed was one of the most disorganized and frustrating service experiences I've ever had. The installation was not completed as promised, and I later learned that it had never actually been finished--despite no one informing me. When I returned home and turned on the system, it immediately overheated and shut down. There were clear signs of installation issues, including loud hissing from a connection and unsealed holes in the exterior walls. From that point forward, I had to repeatedly chase the company just to receive basic service. On multiple occasions, I was told I wasn't even on the schedule. There was no proactive communication, no coordination, and no clear ownership of the problem. Over the course of several weeks, I had: 10 separate service visits 8 different technicians Multiple failed attempts to diagnose and fix the issue One installer admitted he had never worked on this type of system before. Another later explained that the refrigerant had been improperly handled during installation, requiring the system to be reset entirely. In addition to the technical failures, the condition of my home after installation was unacceptable. Dog waste was tracked inside and left there, materials were scattered without explanation, and parts of the work were left visibly unfinished. Most concerning, a technician entered my home without permission while I was away and left an exterior door wide open. Even after escalating the issue to management, resolution was slow and required constant follow-up on my part. I effectively had to manage the entire process myself. After investing nearly $28,000 in this system, I was left with weeks of disruption, uncertainty about the system's reliability, and a level of service that fell far below any reasonable expectation. This experience reflects serious issues with quality control, communication, and accountability.

Roberge is on the water company list of people to call for the job! Doug the owner, was even vague about even recalling that fact, when we initially spoke, saying "I guess we are on some list!" I found that odd but proceeded anyway.. So yes we contacted them. They were a little out of our area, but they do (and were in fact doing) work nearby our home. We spoke w Doug.. He told us he'd stop by after he was finished on Mon. Expected arrival:4-5pm Well!! It's now 2days day later and we've yet to see him here, nor did he call to say he wasn't stopping by to assess our situation and offer us a quote! We waited for this clown!!! Nor has he returned one of any 3 or 4 phone calls that we placed to him, wondering where he was and or just what his plans were. For a company that supposedly has been in business for "48 years" as Doug told us they had been, this conduct with a customer is 100% rude! It's also completely unacceptable, unprofessional,it reflects disorganization, and simply poor business operations. Any idiot can do the job for a customer!! But it takes a true, honest and mature professional, to have the "know how" to communicate effectively with a customer! Communication is vital! Mr Roberge should be ashamed of his unprofessional conduct! This is just not ok! It's interesting, but also concerning to note, that previous reviews 4 years ago describe this same carefree behavior, showing him even then, not returning phone calls and also not showing up as planned etc! Apparently, and quite obviously,he remains unprofessional, while continuing to give sub stellar service to potential customers. No! We DEF do NOT recommend this company!! Beware folks!!

Just before the New Year this past winter we had Call the Bee (a plumbing company we'd used in the…read morepast) come out for a whole house main drain clog. We received a call back right away and they sent out a technician that afternoon. He was clean, courteous & upfront about the plan to clear the clog and the companies pricing. After the snake didn't clear the clog he used a camera and then a water jet to clear our line. Unfortunately the problem returned very shortly after and having lost faith that Call The Bee was able to fix our problem we called another local company. They came out same day, cleared the line and charged approximately the same price. Feeling like we shouldn't have had to have another technician out so soon and incur another charge, we reached out to Call The Bee and spoke with them. Yes, we should have given them a chance to fix the problem instead of calling another company but as I stated, we'd lost faith in them. But, we , I, was wrong. They (Call The Bee) were more than responsive to our problem. Took the time to hear us and wanted the invoice from the second company we called. Lo and behold one week later a check for the ENTIRE amount of our second plumber (slightly over $1,000) was sent to us. Call the Bee truly did all they could to rectify the situation and leave us as satisfied customers.

On the phone I was told the price was $125 and the technician could come the next day. When the technician arrived, he told me the cost of servicing a Generac is over $400 {before he even looked at it} and the $125 was only for a service call to the home to see the issue. Altogether it cost just over $500. Later I emailed the company about the discrepancy in price, as I had asked for the price for regular maintenance on my Generac . The customer service person responded, assuring me that he and the company were correct. He later emailed me again, stating that he reviewed it again and he confirmed that he was right. I found out later that the cost of servicing a Generac generally runs between $100 - $400. I will not use this company again.
