We have been coming to this tree farm for years. Always opening day and always at opening. This year was no exception. We were one f the first cars parked and found a nice Douglas Fir within minutes. We considered waiting with the tree but the young man in the field advised that the tractor would be arriving in minutes. As we were easily within the first 20 people waiting for tree to be cut and bundled. Waited well over an hour before locating the so called "manager" to try and locate the tree. Apparently there was an entire wagon of missing trees as we were not alone waiting for tress in the same number sequence. Not a thing was done to attempt and resolve the issue. The gentleman (not really a gentleman) was actually the owners father. Told us quite rudely "look how busy we are". Well it wasn't busy at 930 when the tree should have been at the station netted and ready to go. Over two hours wait first thing in the morning is unacceptable. This place is completely unorganized and owned by the rudest and people. They actually pulled the facebook reviews down! Concerned only about counting their cash instead of providing a great customer experience. Will never go back again. And based on other reviews I'm not alone in my assessment. I would never return to this establishment. While the trees themselves are nice and well-spaced, and they offer tree baling services, the overall experience is completely overshadowed by the lack of organization and outright disrespect toward customers. The wait times are absurd--an hour to pay for a tree and another hour and a half (if you're lucky) to pick it up. To make matters worse, the workers are incredibly rude, even to the point of throwing trees carelessly and suggesting that frustrated customers buy their trees at Walmart instead. The chaotic system of screaming out ticket numbers while stacking trees haphazardly is frustrating and ineffective. If you're still stuck in the payment line and miss your number, your tree gets buried under a pile of others. When you ask for help, you're met with dismissive attitudes and told you'll just have to wait. I've heard this used to be a nice establishment, but they clearly have no understanding of customer service or retention. They likely lost hundreds of customers this year alone, myself included. Next year, I'll take their advice and head to Walmart instead. read more

We have been coming here ever since moving to the area about six years ago. There is plenty of staff to help you park and to drag the tree to the cashiers. The prices have been getting steep but they do offer a decent cut your own tree selection. During the pandemic they had Santa that handed out candy from a distance. We bring the family and tailgate in the lot with hot chocolate and sandwiches before heading out into the field. Staff is friendly and there are port o Johns on site. read more

My family has been coming to this tree farm for multiple years now, this was definelty our worst experience. Although they always have very nice trees every year, it is pure chaos. Our experience started when we were taken on the trailer around the farm which we thought was going to stop near every tree type, like they did last year. The trailer only made two stops throughout the whole farm and refused to let anyone get off anywhere else. The worker who was with us did not communicate with us at all or inform us when the stops were or even talk about anything related to the trees. They did not make us aware that there was only going to be two stops unlike last year. The workers were straight up unhelpful and unfriendly. Once we had picked out our tree it took nearly two hours to get it back from being wrapped. Everything was unorganized and confusing and it was hard to hear your number being called over all the workers yelling out at the same time. This was straight up a disaster. Although we ended up happy with our tree, we are unsure if we are going to be returning next year. read more

My family and I have been a customer since they first opened to cut trees. We have never gone anywhere else in almost a decade! We love that everyone is very friendly and helpful. It was always nice to take the wagon ride up the hill to see Santa and take a picture. Then trek threw what seems like the endless rows of beautiful trees to find "the one". The farm was always clean, never any trash around. Now we are sad to say that after so many years of coming here it may be our last year. Not only were we not happy about the wait times for the wagon ride.....only 1 tractor and wagon and having to wait at each of the 3 wagons stops until the wagon was full to move for 5-10 minutes at each stop. We were shocked that the price of trees went up about a 25% jump IN A YEAR! I payed $55 for the same tree last year that cost me $78 this year! I looked back on my credit records for previous years and the went up between 3-5 dollars a year not bad, but $23 A YEAR is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Please reconsider your pricing and maybe instead of a price per species do as the other tree farms do and price your trees per foot! read more

Our family had the most amazing experience at Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm. From the moment we arrived ,it was a first rate experience! We were greeted by the very professional parking attendant and directed to a parking spot. From there we were directed to the fields which were filled with beautiful trees . It was a tough decision but finally selected a nine foot Norway Spruce for 65.00 dollars. A very personable staff member cut the tree down for us , had it drilled and we purchased a pin stand for a very reasonable price at check out. The tree was loaded on our roof and another staff member carefully and efficiently tied the tree securely. Wow! What a great day! Thank you to all at Evergreen for this special Christmas memory! My brother worked seasonally at Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm in high school. He didn't stay past the first holiday season because one of his friends told him that someone at the front desk had pocketed some of his tips and lied about it. Aside from that and a few other bad instances, my family still went for our tree there because of its proximity to us. This past weekend we picked out a tree and was helped out by a teenaged worker, new to the farm, who cut it down and tagged it for us. He told us one of a few tractors coming through would come by the road he left it by. The driver would load up its bed with trees to bring to the netting machine, where it's netted then given to customers. After waiting over an hour at the netting machine and hearing others complain about their trees missing just as long, my dad and brother trekked back up to the field and found our tree in the exact same spot it was cut down, along with another few trees down the row that went unnoticed. We picked it up ourselves and began carrying it down the road to the exit when an older employee driving a tractor went by. My dad asked why our tree hadn't been taken in over an hour and the guy responded that it wasn't his fault that we "bought a tree on the busiest day of the year." My dad told him the system they were trying to run sucked, and the man immediately called my dad a handful of slurs in front of a family and told us to fight him. They turned down the offer. They finally got down to the exit and my dad went to the owner to tell him what happened. He waved off my dad and said "I don't have time for this." My dad insisted until the owner condescendingly asked what HE did for a living, so he could know how to judge him. He then told my dad that he could afford to lose a few customers. He was dismissive until we left. Getting a tree is probably some families' favorite Christmas tradition. Not once when my brother was working there would he do anything to upset that tradition for any single customer, let alone respond to an issue by cursing out someone and inciting a fight. That's probably the bare minimum to ask someone who's working retail. If you haven't gotten a tree yet I encourage you to go anywhere else if want to cut down your odds of being treated like an asshole for someone else's faults. read more

The prices have increased dramatically this year and the selection of trees has greatly decreased. There are a number of tree farms in the area that have a much better selection, better pricing and actually appreciate your business. read more

First review I've ever written about a business - That's how impressed my wife and I were with our experience here. Great people and great selection. If you can't find your perfect tree here, you didn't look! (lots of compliments on ours this year) Also, they have a nice program for trees for vets earlier in the season than when we were there - will have to go earlier next year. I never write many reviews on yelp but this deserves to be said. Place is beautiful and my family and I had great time picking a tree until we got to part of bringing tree home. The tree needed to be straightened at bottom. I asked nicely if that can be done which I was told would not be a problem. The person who helped was owner (older white male).He ended up cutting about 4 inches from bottom, not sure why. I the asked to see tree again which he did. It had wholes and was very short. I paid $50 for tree, not cheap. I told him I wanted another one which his reply was something to effect, take it and leave you are hardest customer I ever had. Not sure how I was being difficult. He must not need business. I seriously was speechless. Do not give this guy another dollar. There are so many other places in area. My daughter was so upset she cried the whole way.
