We sadly bought a new Everlast welder directly from Everlast. Once our brand new Everlast arrived: we attempted to purchase rolls of stick. From the order: Everlast charged absurd shipping costs at which point we asked about local pickup instead of paying overpriced shipping and were banned from their forums forever. Refuse to use a product that we cannot access support for; so Everlast just lost a brand new customer starting a brand new shop who is local to them. Anyone want to buy a brand new, never-used Everlast welder out of box? Buyers remorse, these guys are crooks. Done with Everlast before we even got started. As for the 1 star: Basing this 1 STAR for; Being the type of person who likes to get all set up first, before a disaster might come along, better to be prepared than be caught off guard and surprised and latter scratching my head saying, now why did I not think ahead? In first ordering a $2300.00 multi task machine mostly because of the want to dabble in all different of these forms of welding. Was concerned on how good I might get at the various different types of welds, and which ones would need to have more practice in for future practical applications. To my surprise it got here still in the box and in great condition, five star kudos for that!! It was very much appreciated!! In going to join the Everlast forum, and going through all the reasonable questionnaire username, password, dob, email, etc..... Go to my mailbox get the link to be Ok'd, go inside to introduce myself and what do I get; a notice that I have been banned for no apparent reason!! (DOWN TWO STARS FROM FIVE) "You have been banned for the following reason: No reason was specified. Date the ban will be lifted: NEVER", WHAT??? NEVER,,,,,,,,,,,, REALLY? WE ALL NEED THE FORUM FOR GAWD SAKE!!! Yes sometimes they're more trouble than they're worth, BUT THAT IS WHERE YOU WILL FIND SUPPORT FOR QUESTIONS THAT YOU NEED ANSWERED when they're NON-EXISTENT customer service IS NOT THERE TO BETTER SUPPORT YOUR NEEDS!! Yes there is You Tube, yes there are other forums, and you might be able to get your inquiries answered, but still there's nothing like getting it from the horses own mouth!! I then proceed to purchase some wire feed drive rolls, six to be exact, at $20.00 apiece which is reasonable by many online standards, so when it is all said and done it should have come out to $120.00 plus tax with the outcome being somewhere around $131.10... Then after going through the paying process I get SLAPPED with a $90.00 SHIPMENT PRICE; (DOWN 2 MORE STARS) Fortunately, the order was never "COMPLETED" and immediately backed out.......... All this for sending to a location less than 500 miles from their (the Everlast) location, six pieces (or ounces) of ring metals each about the size of an engagement ring, a few ounces and they want to charge this $90.00 SHIPMENT PRICE for 6 pieces of metal? Attempted calling into their business to find out a few answers but they only answer their phones during "normal" business hours M-F, In other words they do not really have ANY customer service!! I purchased a multi process welder from everlast about a week ago online. The welder was shipped the same day and arrived at ups the next morning. Ups ended up "losing" the 85 pound welder and was absolutely zero help. I live close enough to drive to the everlast warehouse so I called to inquire about picking up a replacement. They were very helpful over the phone agreeing that I could come pick up my new welder the next day even though ups hadn't concluded their investigation on the original shipment. I was hesitant due to previous reviews about the customer service but seems they may have corrected some past problems. read more

Horrible company. Zero service and totally incompetent people. They dont know how their own products work. Service means you are two month without a machine! Don't buy their machines if you really NEED it to work. read more

Tried to buy a mig welder from them . They advertised the welder with free shipping on their website . After calling in the order and talking to Alex he said it would be an additional 90.00 for shipping . He said it was Google that entered the free shipping with out their knowledge. I have seen others writing about the same thing happening to them. Bait and switch for sure. The equipment has a good reputation but the shady business practices and dismal customer service prompted me to buy a Esab locally. read more
