July 10th rolls around and I get an email that morning saying they're not coming, but will come on June 14th. Today is June 14th and no one is here. No call, no email. Left messages and cant get a call back. Really disappointing. I would avoid this company if you want someone who services customers well and delivers predictably.

The issues began in July 2025 when I requested a quote from a saleswoman, Beyza, for 5-7 slabs and 2,000 sq. ft. of hardwood. It took her over a month to simply respond to an inquiry, causing them to lose the flooring portion of my business immediately. Against my better judgment, I moved forward with the slab purchase through a different salesman, Julio. We purchased 5 slabs, yet Julio accidentally charged us for 7, an overcharge of roughly $8,500. What followed was a masterclass in poor customer service: The Refund Delay: Julio dragged his feet for two months on the refund, only for us to find out he no longer worked at the company. Management Failure: I escalated the issue to Sam, the manager. He promised to process the refund immediately. Sam also made additional promises of delivering the slab the following day, but failed to do so. The Current Status: It is now February 2026--seven months after the initial contact and months after the overcharge--and we still have not received our money. Tez Marble has stopped responding and has made no effort to call or explain why they are still holding onto $8,500 of our money. They have been completely radio-silent while essentially "stealing" from a customer. Beautiful stone is not worth the risk of losing thousands of dollars to a company that clearly lacks the internal infrastructure or integrity to handle basic financial transactions. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!

Our orig provider graciously gave us a refund but we were still left in a pinch to find a replacement product ASAP to keep our construction schedule. Victor and Whole Woods delivered beautifully. They were patient with us as we pulled a dozen samples from the warehouse into the front for comparison. The selection here is *vast*. We found more than one suitable option, and the one we ultimately chose ended up better than the original product we ordered. Whole Woods empathized with our urgency. They got the product ordered quickly. We opted to pick it up from the warehouse rather than to have them deliver it to save a bit of extra time. The finished product looked amazing we were extremely happy with the result. There was one issue with defective nosings in our delivery, but they rectified the situation quickly. Even though I live an hour's drive away, Whole Woods would be my first choice if I were to shop for floors again.

Our house was built in 1943 and the floors may have never been done before. They were pretty beat up with wear, cupping, and black rust from carpet tack strip. The carpet in our bedroom needs to be stretched because wrinkles have developed in a number of spots. Pretty simple request and it's just annoying to not get any response. Please use another company if you expect and customer service after installation. It's not a high traffic area so I suspect the initial installation was not done correctly. I had my eye on a particular granite (make sure you grab the 24"x36" kitchen mock-up picture and hang it from your slab to get an idea of how it will look), but after talking with Jay about my appliances, cabinetry, and flooring choices, he suggested a different granite. He was so right! The Santa Augustino looks terrific with my bamboo cabinets, white appliances, and cork floors! Marble City has a nice showroom with lots of samples, and the "slab yard" next door. There's no rush or pressure, all questions are answered, the contract is very straight forward, and the results are beautiful! I went to Marble City and found the vendor who carried the black quartz. From beginning to end, it took two and a half weeks to have the countertops installed. Everyone from the office administrators to the actual counter installers were easy to work with and very efficient. Of course, it did help that I knew what I wanted and was available when needed for site measurements and final installation. Pricing is very competitive and am pleased with the final price.

This is a mixed review because some things about working with Gilman were great and some things…read morehave been difficult to resolve. Cheri is a great kitchen designer, and did a really nice job laying out the kitchen for us. However, the cabinet maker she recommended, Dura Supreme, has been an absolute nightmare. Cheri told us once the order date is set, we could expect the cabinets to be delivered as promised. Dura Supreme was a week late in delivering the bulk of our order, which upset the installation schedule we had planned. Even worse, pieces were missing from the order which took months to receive. For some reason, the corner cabinet doors were missing and it took months for them to come in. Also, without our approval, the manufacturer changed something marked as a single cabinet door on the plans to two smaller double doors, which is not nearly as nice as the single door and required purchasing an additional door handle. We could have had them remake this as a single door, but the manufacturer is so slow an nonresponsive to getting things done that we thought that would never happen, so we just kept what we had. Also, we needed one extra piece for the top corner cabinet that for some reason has been impossible for Dura Supreme to get right. We are now on the 4th version of them sending the piece. The prior attempts were either made with the wrong edging or were the wrong size. I don't understand why this is so difficult--isn't this what they do for a living? While I would recommend Gilmans and Cheri to others looking for kitchen cabinets, I would tell you DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITION BUY DURA SUPREME CABINETS. The cabinets were delivered and installed in March. It's now August--5 months later--and we still don't have this resolved. Caveat emptor!
