Throughout my treatment, Dr. Phillips frequently saw multiple patients at the same time. I was left waiting with my tooth open while he moved between treatment rooms. The office environment felt chaotic, with loud rock music playing during procedures, making me feel more like I was in a slaughterhouse than in a dental office. During nearly every visit, he spent time criticizing other dentists instead of focusing on my treatment. As someone who is not American, I found this behavior both aggressive and highly unprofessional. The most serious issue occurred after my crown fell off about a year later. I waited three days for an appointment to have it re-cemented. After the procedure, I noticed a hole in my tooth before I even left the office. When I asked Dr. Phillips about it, he told me it was "just cosmetic" and refused to fix it. I left the office with a visible defect in my tooth and no explanation that there could be a more serious underlying problem. After seeking a second opinion, I was informed that the tooth has an infection and that I will likely need a dental implant. This information had never been communicated to me during my treatment. I also felt disrespected throughout my care. During one interaction, while I was trying to discuss my concerns, Dr. Phillips was eating peanuts and dismissing my questions. I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. I was also asked to pay in cash, which made me uncomfortable. I have kept records of all of my communications and interactions. Based on my personal experience, I have decided to file a formal complaint with the appropriate licensing authorities so my case can be reviewed. I hope my experience helps other patients make an informed decision before choosing this practice. BE CAREFU!!!

Then they asked me to continue to wait to see if it would go away once Invisalign work was done. When all that was done and time had passed, the tooth still hurt in the gum area. To resolve the issue, they asked that I see an expert endodontist/dentist colleague to get a diagnostic scan they don't have and his expert opinion. They said if Dr. Loo agreed after the scan and examination that the root canal Dr. A, Phillips did was faulty, they'd pay to repair my tooth free of charge. That sounded reasonable. So I paid $375 for Dr. Loo to scan and examine the root canal. Dr. Loo could see that Dr. Phillips had failed to completely fill the root during the root canal which allowed for an infection to develop. Given the gum infection cyst, Dr Loo determined the tooth could only safely be fixed by an endodontist for close to $2k. Hearing this, Dr A Phillips totally backpedaled. He refused to pay Dr Loo to fix my tooth. Instead, he begged Dr Loo to tell me that it would be OK for Dr. A to redo my root canal by drilling up thru the tooth. Dr. Loo explained that there now was an abscess/cyst-like infection in the gum which made that impossible. Dr A Phillips had his billing person call me and sheepishly back out of the promise to cover his mistake. She lobbied his lame excuse that it had been too long a time and perhaps he didn't fill all the roots so that he couldn't take responsibility for the damaged root. What a con man. They are not trustworthy or people of their word. I'm out of pocket the $375 to see their expert for a 2nd opinion at their request. They said they'd abide by and pay to fix it if Dr Loo deemed their work wasn't correct., which he did. But they refuse to fix their incomplete work. So it will cost me $2,375 to fix it on my own PLUS what I originally paid them for the root canal. BEWARE. If you go and have an issue - RESOLVE it right away or just LEAVE as I'm doing .

You're immediately greeted by Laura, Angela, and Karen at the front desk -- always smiling, friendly, and welcoming. It's hard to be nervous when everyone seems genuinely happy to see you walk in (even when you're there for a root canal). Dr. Puccio, as always, makes you feel completely at ease. With his state-of-the-art equipment and modern techniques, the procedure was painless and quick -- I barely had time to get settled before he was done. While waiting to get numb, you can't help but notice the walls filled with awards and recognition, which pretty much explain why everything runs so smoothly. And a special shout-out to Jessica, his dental assistant -- always smiling, incredibly knowledgeable, and a former beauty queen, which somehow makes sitting in a dental chair even more pleasant .
