I've been an iTan member for six years and am still loving it. The Winchester location now has a red light bed and a Halo infrared sauna with salt therapy. Two of my faves. I also love the WellFit Lift which stimulates collagen production. There are still the red and blue light photo facials and teeth whitening services. Of course the Versa Spray and Mystic spray tanning along with several different tanning beds are always popular. Winchester also has the Aqua massage bed which is amazing. All these services are great but what really puts it over the top are the sweet young ladies here who are ready to help and really are the sweetest. Lately the ac has been out which makes the whole experience less than what it should be and the staff they been in the sun all day sweaty, flushed and not as charismatic as normal as one looked dehydrated even. The service was good, everyone was so nice although I am an avid spray tanner the girl in the front proceeded to tell me everything even though I didn't need her too, I wish she would have asked if I had any questions instead of standing there letting her explain it to me. The salon was clean too! But the $47 or $49 it cost to do a versa spa spray tan in bronze was crazy! Not only that but it was splotchy and the nozzle must need to be cleaned or something because it was so bad I had to go in with my own self tanning mouse the next day to try to fix it. Not only did it miss spots it was just so uneven. I'm really disappointed in the cost for what I got it was not even worth it. It was also sooooooo orange. I'm just bummed. That's how much I normally pay for a custom spray tan. That price is not worth it to be splotchy and from an automated spray tan machine. read more

I've been a customer for years. But I just moved to the temecula area and I'm not pleased with the service rooms. The body wrap didn't work. You lay in it for 45 minutes on the highest setting and not a drip of sweat. Wasted time, mentioned to front desk several times, always told no guarantee if or when it will be fixed. One of my favorite tanning beds has a cluster of cracks in the glass that you lay on. I've ordered product and no one can tell me exactly when it will be in. I miss being close to the wildomar location as they were always on top of things. I hope things get better at this location or I'll just start driving back to the wildomar location. The girls at the Winchester location are great though, I just feel like my money is wasted when I come to this location. read more

I began my membership last August. I used the service for a couple months then put my account on standby. When I returned there was a new manager,Katt. Katt is the sweetest, most bubbly, friendly, accommodating girl... EVER! All the girls that work there are great and friendly. Super personable. All the girls are knowledgeable about products and services. I highly recommend the wrap bed if you havent tried it. There is a wide assortment of beds that deliver different types of color. This location needs to do better. I have a note on my account that specifically says do not ask about upgrading because I have been going to this tanning salon but a different location for many years and I know how to use the products and the beds. I went there during their semi-annual sale or whatever sale they had two weeks ago. There were multiple beds open and the girl told me only two beds were available and I looked at her and said, OK, that's not available. OK cool I guess I'll do this one. Then she proceeded to try to sell me on a product when my note on my account specifically says do not try to sell products to this person. I have been tanning longer than these girls have probably been alive. This location I probably will not go to again because of the poor customer service. The one I normally go to is excellent. The one star is for Morgin who was extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, helpful, absolutely knows her stuff and has great customer service skills! The only issue is that I told her that I had been to iTan in the past (2015), but still we went through member options and free week trial options only to not be able to sign me up for that once I provided my cell number. It's unfortunate that after 9 years, I couldn't try out this option, especially because I had only visited the salon once in the past. They should update their policy. Taking a star off for this as it was time wasted and not good customer service from the corporate standpoint. To preface the review, I've been tanning at salons from 2006-2018. I've rarely had a bad experience in that time frame. In 2018, I got a spray gun and have been spraying at home, but decided to try the salon out again as an option. So I'm well versed in how the tanning salon process works and how your tan should turn out. My tan came out orange instead of brown when using the VersaPro machine. Not only that but I chose the double dark option which turned out looking more like a level 2. It ended up being better so I could gradually scrub the orange off in the shower, but still not what I asked for. I should have been way darker. Taking off a star for that as the spray solution color should be on point and at the level requested. The dryer feature on the machine was not working properly and needed repair. I was not advised of that until after paying but said it was okay. Regardless the overall ambiance and quality of both the salon and the machines needs updating. I'm not taking off a star for this but feel it's important to note. I paid $30 for my spray tan, an additional $6 for and extra coat on my legs and another additional $6 for the clear tanner. I chose the clear tanner instead of the bronzing as to not ruin the sheets on the bed before going on vacation. I was told it takes about 3-4 hours to develop. My spray tan was complete at 6:05pm. There was barely any detectable color just after 10pm so I paid for a service that did not end up working. I wanted to shower in the evening before bed as I had an early morning before going to the airport. I ended up having to get up much earlier than anticipated to shower. Taking away a star since I did not get what I paid for. Lastly, I specifically chose the VersaPro because I used the machine for years at At The Beach tanning salon in OC just before getting my own spray gun. I knew that the machine has you move in different positions so that it completely covers you so that you don't have any areas missed. Unfortunately my arms had areas that were not spray tanned completely. Taking the last star for this reason. I'm really disappointed in how my experience turned out and feel that I wasted $42 on a service that I did not receive as promised. I wish I had better things to say and a salon I could count on locally to visit. Hopefully they make improvements for future customers! I would not advise anyone to go there for a spray tan as things stand right now. Update: Per the reply below the salon called me going through my review to answer back to the things I wrote which was weird and the. asking me to come back and try them again (even though I did not have a good experience). I told them I did not want to and that I thought a refund was appropriate given my experience, but that it didn't seem like they issued refunds. I was a previous member 4 years ago and planned on renewing my membership for 2026. I decided to try a 7 day free trial that I signed up for on the actual iTan website. And since it's been a handful of years since I've been back, I wanted to see how my skin would react this time around. Walked in on a Saturday pretty busy timing and Brooklyn was great help she understood the caution and honored my free trial. Bought eyewear which I also intended on continuing to use if all went well. Aka singing up for a membership. I went for 3 days under this free trial, but on my 4th try out of the 7 days I was denied by Madi. It was an immediate no. Didn't bother with alternate solutions just repeating no. What is disappointing is the lack of understanding from Madi. She stated she was in higher position which took me by surprise with the lack of customer service she held. All in all, because of this interaction I don't even want to bother coming back at all, free trial or not. Just annoyed. It was also be smart if the employees at this location had a streamline form of communication for better understanding their customers. read more

Hailey towered over me and talked in a loud obnoxious voice repeatedly explaining that I needed to pay an extra 4 bucks to upgrade so I could use the red bed, (like I'm stupid and cheap nbd), all while I sat waiting for it to become available in a broke down uncomfortable chair placed where the hot sun bakes you. They should keep her in the back she's bad for business. I literally waited 45 minutes for it to become available, but there was only 1 person in there when I arrived, and I was next, so??? Instead of being able to check in after my long wait another employee was to busy doing a Tik Tok Video and using the computer so I had to wait even longer because both computers were tied up. This place has gone way downhill since my last visit a few years ago, it's not "Premium" it's Tacky. Not relaxing or pleasant, and definitely not worth the drive. Hailey calls it an Upgrade???? The bathroom didn't have toilet paper or paper towels but they had plenty of people running around being dysfunctional, mostly.
