I've been using this company for insurance and called to get 1 of my vehicles upgraded to full coverage from liability. After speaking with my agent, she told me my monthly charge would only go up $20 a month, so I went ahead and signed up, and come to find out I was tricked, misguided, and given wrong information. My bill should have went up from $250 a month to $275 a month, which the first monthly bill went up the $20 like she mentioned, and the following month it went to $856 which was actually the number that my insurance was going to be. Might I add I have 2 older vehicles and that's all that was insured, so an absurd number to pay. What kind of agent signs you up for that amount to pay for insurance? Knowing youre only paying $250 currently. So they lied, told me $275 a month and then I got charged $856 a month. When calling to speak about the matter, I spoke with a guy named Ryan, very unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to help resolve the issue and told me tough luck, you signed the dotted line for the insurance and they are unwilling to reimburse me or help resolve the matter. So please beware of this company and I would beg you to look into using a different company, don't let them screw you over too!! Below I attached a couple pictures to show how it went up the $20 bucks like she spoke about and then the $856 charge. Don't let them trick you, RUN RUN RUN!!!!

Basically, I paid for 6 month insurance policy and they convinced me I should have the payment deducted directly from my checkings' account on the 1st of every month which I agreed to. I paid for the first month in the office. Then the 1st rolls around, plenty of money in my checkings account but the payment never comes out. I check daily and by the 5th it still hasn't come out, nor does my bank show that it is even pending. Then I get a cancellation letter. Fair enough, I go get insurance down the street, Then I get a notice saying I owe LA Insurance/Safeway $75.00. What? I call, can only talk to the rude lady at LA Insurance as Safeway doesn't seem to have real people and bounce your calls to LA Insurance. She proceeds to tell me the payment was rejected for non sufficient funds and that they covered me for 12 days regardless before cancelling and charged me a $25 NSF fee, No way. I told her I have bank statements showing that there was plenty of money in the account and a letter from the bank stating that no direct withdrawel was pending from their company. SHe tells me I should have called and paid it then. Oh, wait, yeah, of course, it's my fault you convinced me to do direct withdrawel and then didn't do it and then supposedly covered me for 12 days without asking. I don;t think so. SHe told me sending in proof would not do any good and I still owed $75 for their mistake. Wrong. Thank goodness I have perfect credit and don't have to worry about a little $75 ding on my credit report but a crook is a crook and LA Insurance is one of the worst!
