I have shopped at daily deals consistently for over five years. Today, I checked some of the prices against Fred Meyer, and they were way too high, for example $5 for a 12 pack of out of date soda that is $3.99 at Safeway, or $3.10 for 2023 toothpaste that is $1.50- $2.00 for the same in-date item at Safeway. Especially considering Daily Deals items can date back to 2023. Staff have been layed off recently. I'm sad that I can't trust the company like I did before when I felt rest assured I was getting great daily deals. read more

This used to be my favorite store. I'd shop here weekly & come home with carts full of groceries. Then it got a new owner. He's greedy. He jacked up the prices. Now the prices are higher than Winco and because of it people aren't buying. Now everything is rotten and rancid. Produce is literally dripping with rotten, smelly, sticky juice and anything on the shelves that had oil in it will burn your nostrils with its putrid rancid acrid stench. All we can do is hope the new owner loses so much money that he sells it to a better owner. So sad because our family really depended upon the "deals" at Everyday Deals. I don't shop here much anymore & don't recommend you do either. read more

Yes some food is past the expiration date. Americans waste so much. An expiration date isn't a deal breaker if you understand how they work. It doesn't mean you're gonna get food poisoning. Any other country doesn't throw away food like we do. Sometimes there are molded berries. Pick those out. Again it doesn't effect the whole container. It's worth the savings if you know how to use them. read more

Love this place. New owners are really doing much better at organizing but with the new owners have come higher prices. Be careful with expirations. I've gotten stale chips and dry chocolate from here. My bad- I didn't check the date first and when I did afterward, was VERY expired. They're trying to clear out the previous owners past pallets so I assume some older food will be around a while until they've sold what they can. read more

It's the same store as always, cold in the winter, hot in the summer, with no bathroom and expired merchandise that has been opened and taped shut, and bugs on the produce, which is great if you're poor and desperate... but since the change in ownership, the prices are the HIGHEST of ANY store I've ever been to. Some items are still cheap and some items are outrageously-priced like they're trying to trick people who aren't diligent in their price-checking. So buyer beware. read more

This is an OK place if you don't mind out dated product... granted you shouldn't buy some things that are outdated but it wont kill you if you buy a lot of things past the sale by date... as that date is just meant as a guide and not an end all be all to the life of said product... but with that said CHECK the dates... Product is ok to eat if its a few months out but once it gets to 8 months + past the due date then its time to say umm NOPE and pass on it... Salad Dressings are their WORST OFFENDERS... I don't know how they are able to sell product past a year old and A LOT of their salad dressings are from 2015!!! read more

Been there 3 times since it opened. The first visit wasn't bad, got some good deals in the produce area. The last time I was there they had blue berries, I picked up one and they were moldy! All of them were moldy...How is that okay to put moldy stuff out there. It was not a good over all experience, bought nothing and I will not return. read more

Everyday Deals is a discount grocery market. I visited them last week for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the variety, selection of items and pricing. Some of their pricing is amazing and makes sense with some of the outdated products. A couple of items were priced regularly, but the items were past the expiration date and the cost should have been lower. I do like the premise behind the store and think with a little elbow grease, the store and merchandise can be stored/displayed in a much more organized fashion. Attention to some of the dates would be great also. There are jars of Prego that have 2015 Best Buy dates. I'll pass on that one but some items are only a day or two beyond the suggested Best Buy date and those are fair game! Lol read more

Love dropping by here & seeing what they have to offer. Last time there, I put a big Whitman's Sampler chocolate box in my cart. It was the only one. Later, at checkout, I noticed Whitman's wasn't in my cart! Then I saw that the cashier had rung up Whitman's for the lady ahead of me. I said to the lady, "Did you take Whitman's out of my cart?" She said that she took it out of, "a cart." Guilty!!! I took it back and the lady barked at the cashier to take it off her bill. Later, as I opened Whitman's in my car I was mildly horrified to see the speckled, mottled milk protein surface of the chocolates. They looked inedible. They looked like my brindle pug! Even so, I ate a few & later tossed the bottom half. I should have left them with that lady (I don't know why I keep calling her a lady) You win something & you lose some. Besides Whitman's & some avocados, I have won handsomely shopping at this store. Thank you EDD! read more

Ian M. - you clearly are skewed by institutional marketing campaigns such as moves to get more product sold--the primary reason 'expiration' dates have been applied to products. A part is full disclosure so consumers know the 'freshness' of products--but these dates do not dictate the edibility of the food. That is more a function of the actual contents--such as highly preserved foods like most processed, packaged items. As for Everyday Deals, this business is one that meets a huge neighborhood need for access to affordable food--regardless of the mix of processed versus fresh offerings. The current business owner has brought fresh produce on board to elevate the healthy choices. As well, they support the adjacent 'Neighborhood Garden' through providing the land at no cost to residents who want to supplement their diets with fresh-grown fruits and vegetables. To me--this is the best of business models, one that supports people's needs while also offering a social benefit to the local community. Yah--I'm a fan of Everyday Deals for all the good reasons! read more
