You've got to be kidding me! No one has written about Everybody's yet. This is my favorite music store in the western hemisphere, I've been going here since I was six and hit it up every time I'm back in town. The used section is well worth scavenging and the vinyl has added greatly to my collection. Even buying new you don't feel like you're adding to the monstrous evil record companies. Plus the small label / indie / punk selections are well above what you'll find at other places. Plus they have that system where you get to hear every cd in the store before you buy. The staff is awesomely friendly and helpful, and unlike the rest of Cinci knows more than just Bootsy Collins came from the area. GO give them you money. read more

In a world of digital robotic perfection, vinyl is the only media left to remind us of the human genuineness of the music it contains. Don't think about that too long, I didn't (obviously). But the best music is still found on vinyl, and when you play it on vinyl, it's like drinking it straight from the tap, sloppy but fresh and delicious.. Thank God for Everybody's Records. I can't imagine anyone is getting rich from selling old vinyl, but if it weren't for shops like this, the world would be a lesser place. read more

Best record shop ever!! I have traveled to many cities with the intent of visiting their local record shops and Everybody's still comes out on top. They always have such an amazing selection and fantastic staff. Not only do they have a good used section, but cater to all genres. This is my favorite record store in Cincinnati! Nothing comes close to their selection. They have everything from folk to blues to alt rock. There is old stuff and brand new releases in store! Quite a selection of CD's, tapes DVD's, shirts, etc available too. Fun coffee shop across the street and a bar and brewery too! Definitely worth a stop in. Large selection of both new and used vinyl and CDs at reasonable pricing. Nice and helpful staff. The quality of the used vinyl wasn't great -- alot of commons or items that may never find a buyer. In between all of the 'filler' albums you'll find a few nice ones (ie. early press of Dave Brubeck - Time Out). read more

Not my absolute favorite but still top notch. Everybodys isn't my straight go to for sweet new tunes but I never miss the chance to pop in when I am in the area. The stock is steady and cheap finds are always hanging around. Finding that record you absolutely MUST have can be tricky though. Record digging is fair, but not quite exceptional. A smaller version of my fave, but still a fun way to reminisce for the day and always better to give my tuneful cash love to the lil' guy. read more

Havent been here in almost 10 years and WAS pleasantly surprised!!!! Was there on May 22nd with the Mrs and we were carousing the jazz section! Lot of good pre-loved stuff! John Coltrane -Basia and a Get Back Italian reissue from the Coltrane Quartet in a live setting from Austria (1962-Inch Worm) Several others inc a Wes Montgomery on Riverside along with a 1988 Louis Bellson Live Disc on the Concord also went bye bye with us! And of course a Max Roach (promo of Freedom Now Suite) The prices were pretty fair. The Coltrane Basia had some audible surface noise thru out and The Max Roach first toon on side one had a skip that couldnt be corrected! Fine...the rest of the disc played a-okay! Wont bring em back since they are more of the harder ones to find! One annoyance was the rather LOUD music piped in thru the mains that were in the jazz / rock section. My wife Ann was trying to ask me some q's bout the albums and couldnt really hear what she had to say...vice versa. Plus the air conditioning wasNOT properly working(?) rather warm/hot inside the space of the facility. There was a fan blowing rather briskley in the cashier/sales associate area...so that said something right there. Anyway I was told while checking out that the store has been in the same locale for quite sometime. Starting out as two rows, then 4 then expanding pretty much to what they are right now! Worth then time to browse and of course buy....only a few others in the place when we were there. One bro was buying some jazz too-John Klemmer/Art Taylor/Shirley Scott/and a few other things! Overall the exp...was nice nice very nice! Will come again when we are in the area! read more

I loved my visit to Everybody's, it is a well known spot that I had several people telling me to visit. They have a huge selection of vinyl both new and used, contemporary and oldies. I enjoyed my time digging and they had a small folk band playing, which made the experience even more awesome. Prices are retail value and didn't see any crazy deals. Great selection, great prices, great staff! My husband and I travel all the way from Morrow (about 35 miles away) almost weekly to spend our money in this store!!! In fact, I was just there today. Their used section is awesome, and they have great vinyl too. Customer service is phenomenal...these people know music. I could spend all day in Everybody's listening to music and browsing. The clerks here are super helpful. Like other reviews have said, there is a record player in the back where you can sample the records! They have a HUGE selection, there is so much to look at. The organization is on point as well, the genre signs can be seen from clear across the store. Prices are reasonable and they still had TONS of stock from record store day! I'm a fan! read more
