Sooo..I'm not a gamer. I haven't been a gamer since the early 90's. Sega Genesis was the last…read moresystem I really owned and enjoyed. I pretty much only shop at stores like Gamestop when I am buying gifts for people. This location is much like all other locations I've been to. They're pretty well stocked in all current gaming systems and games. Prices are a bit high, especially for used games. I've heard they don't really buy them for much from customers but then they turn around and sell them for sometimes as little as five or ten dollars less than the cost of a new game. Not cool. It seems like most transactions here take a while to get through. I was here that day to buy a gift card, but I ended up having to wait in line for close to ten minutes because the people at the registers were busy with the two customers that were in front of me. One was selling games, the other was asking for advice on a potential purchase. I mean, the employees were giving really good customer service to these customers, I just wish someone could've broke away for the ten seconds it would've taken to scan my card and have me on my way. They do have a frequency program that they try to get you to sign up for, but they are nowhere near as pushy as they are at FYE about it. Seeing that when I'm there I'm either purchasing a gift card, or asking the type of questions that reveal I'm not into video games at all, they usually take the hint and not bother me about it. Nothing wrong with Gamestop or this location overall. I'm sure next time I need a gift for that special gamer in my life I'll be back.

They will then say "but we told you there is a 60 day turnaround time" but not acknowledged that your cards have been in "shipping to PSA" status for almost a month. They will just blame it on the app and say it sucks and that PSA is backed up. Spoke to Dustin and he told us that his manager didn't actually send the cards when my app updated and that he did it and that he can see our cards had arrived then 2 weeks after the app still shows shipping to psa we call back again and we're told their systems show it's still in transit. Which means we were lied to. When we asked for contact info for the district manager we were told we'd get a call back then the manager called us back 10 mins later and said the district manager had said for us to call customer service because he doesn't handle PSA issues. This to me shows they don't care about their customers or their experience.

The best part about this store was the excellent service. Clearly the people who work here play the games and know what they're talking about. While we were waiting in line to buy a couple games, I witnessed the sales associate helping a boy (about 10 years old). It was pretty clear the kid probably didn't have a ton of money (what 10 year olds do?) But the sales clerk was very kind and patient and answered all of the kids questions and spent a lot of time to help him find something to buy that he could afford. The sales clerk could have easily blown the kid off or not truly helped him, but he did! It was great! I like seeing such great service where its abundantly clear, the people working there really care. Good Job!
