The manager seems to me-my opinion- to be some what racist. Recently, my client had a very bad experience at this gym. They canceled his membership because he told one of the trainers to get out of his face. He felt she was harassing him. She kept asking when he would be done with the machine he was using. He felt targeted because it has happened before on a few occasions. The manager told him that trainers client pays a lot of money!!!!!!! There were other machines available but she wanted the machine he was on. He told her-because of her insistence on knowing when he would be done- to get out of his face. And for this reason his membership was canceled. He was refunded his year long membership. But the manager should have dealt with the situation in a different manner. Major note: the gym gives people free shakes for 5 star reviews so if you see a 5 star review it was bought for and not honest (most likely) This gym used to be a great place where you could go and get your work out in without any issues, but it's so different now. The gym is absolutely packed until like 10:30pm and even past that it's pretty busy until like around midnight. So if you're a person who wants a more empty experience start looking elsewhere. Tho the biggest issue is below. Good luck not having to park at Walmart until at-least dinner time. The people who go at night used to be made up of focused and responsible/respectful people who kept to themselves and treated the gym as a public space, not causing or starting problems. However that's changed, now the gym at night is literally jam packed with hyper highschool kids who screw around as if no one else was there. The night I chose to never come back I was working on a chest press machine and I saw a group of them running around the gym chasing eachother and screaming, before tackling and wrestling eachother shouting in the middle of the gym while everyone else was trying to focus on themselves and were obviously distracted and uncomfortable. I'm all for screwing around with buddies but in a very claustrophobic gym (that's another issue) is not the place. The staff couldn't have cared less and didn't even check to see if there was an actual problem or not. I left after that and I don't plan on ever coming back. read more

I've been going to Everyone Fitness for about 4 years and have been pleased with my membership. The are open 24/7 including holidays, have a huge selection of gym equipment, free weights, treadmills, etc. Most times I've arrived at about 7:30AM and am still able to utilize all the stations that I want, albeit in a different order if it is occupied. Whenever I've been there I've heard music playing, yet not obnoxiously loud. They have private classes at an extra annual fee which I've not been interested in because everything I want to use is already there and id personally prefer to exercise at my own pace. There are several tanning booths as well as automated massage tables which I avoid because I don't want to assume a recumbent position in someone else's perspiration, even though there are disinfectant sprats and towels everywhere. Everyone must present their membership card to enter. I personally would like the entrance to be locked and have members swipe to enter. I noticed that they also sell protein shakes which I've never tried. Their motto used to be "We don't judge " which has since been cha fed to " Where the locals train" which i could care less about. Overall, this is a place for fitness for everyone and I will continue my membership for the foreseeable future. read more

May be a little thing, but this really pissed me off: after my workout I paid for a drink in the vending machine, but the thing wouldn't open. I told the front desk person, who said they'd have someone right there. After waiting about 15 minutes awkwardly waiting by the vending machine and checking back in between. I finally grab my stuff to leave, chalking it up to a loss. Then, the desk guy sees me leaving, comes around just to shrug and say "yeah, the guy was in a meeting?" What guy? The place had at least fifteen uniformed personnel on staff, and only one guy is allowed the key to the vending machine? And that guy had a meeting? About what? I honestly wouldn't have bothered leaving a review if the front desk guy literally flipped me off on the way out, but that nonsense really annoyed me. read more

It was a one time in a life experience when the service staff told as that the terms dicussed during joining were not true. Instead of apologizing for the "misunderstandings" they, including the manager, put the blame on us... while one person even found humor while instigating us......So please make sure that you write down the name and even better tape the conversation. I don't typically like to write bad reviews but I was attempting to cancel my membership, a staff member told me there was a no obligation gym membership (which I explicitly asked about due to being locked in at another gym) I called in after emailing and spoke to the General manager. He was extremely disrespectful, cursing at me over the phone and calling me a liar about speaking to a staff member. Gym isn't horrible but management is terrible in this privately owned gym. read more

I absolutely love this place. I visit Rehoboth beach a lot for work. Every time I'm here I get a month membership and I wish I could bring this gym back to Northern Virginia. What I love: - open 24/7 - cleaning spray & towels supplied - TONS of equipment. Not only a really great diverse selection, but multiples of the frequently used ones - awesome functional fitness area - smoothie bar - massage beds - offers a women's only section - tanning beds - fitness classes - vending machines with great options - the nicest staff I have zero complaints other than I wish there was one like this in VA. read more

Everyone Fitness is a good gym option for post-college athletes like myself. They offer lots of different equipment options and amenities.

I was a member at this gym for the first two years that I lived in this area and I can say that it has changed a lot - but not for the better. Every gym has its' pros and cons, but the cons on this gym far outweigh the pros. First, the good news is that it's inexpensive, it's a large space and has a large variety of decently maintained equipment. Now, I have to delve into the negatives, which is sadly a longer list. First, the parking situation is just awful. For such a large gym, the parking lot is just too small to accommodate the size of the membership. Next, because it so inexpensive, it attracts a crowd of annoying and disrespectful group of guys in their late teens/early 20's, who don't wipe down equipment, don't re-rack their weights; etc. It also feels like the equipment gets more abuse as a result. I've posted a few photos as examples. The tipping point for me leaving this gym was a realization that the weight floor culture at this gym is simply poisonous. This gym has a LGBT Pride sticker on its' front door, and claims to welcome "everyone" - which would be great if it were actually true. On several occasions over the last few months I trained there I was, to my face, called gay slurs by various guys on the weight floor. I'm a big guy and I don't really worry about my safety and I have a thick skin, so I mostly just snapped back or tolerated it. The breaking point for me however, was the open, blatant misogyny on the weight floor. During my last week working out there, a guy walked in wearing a white t-shirt that, in bold black lettering, proclaimed "GOOD C*NT" (fully spelled out - without the *). I immediately went to the front desk to complain, and I was told to quote "Mind your own business - it doesn't affect you". I knew right then and there, that this was no longer the gym for me. I can tolerant the anti-gay bigotry, but the tolerance of that kind of misogyny is simply unacceptable. read more

before signing and fyi: staff especially Mike the owner, are UNFRIENDLY with a believe it or not...... his big muscular chest in your face BULLYING attitude. should you need to ask a single question regarding billing or anything for that matter, bring your law school 101 course with you. never saw a smile on his face in the two years there. i'd prefer to feel my gym appreciates my membership. staff turnover is like flipping blueberry or even plain pancakes, and those staff that are present appear (i'm not intending to be rude nor disrespectful) quite the IMO unsavory bunch. nough said. read more

The facility wasn't too bad and the 3-day membership is a nice option but TAKE NOTE that your 3-day membership begins the moment you buy it online - not when you go into the facility. Seems like an odd system and there wasn't any info on the website about how activation worked. It has so many diferrent equipment to choose from.. they have recently added more equipment.Which is good for all the new people moving to Delaware Beach! My favorite part is the tanning beds. The new GM Nick S. Did start off as a member and then to an employee and made his way to general manager! I believe he is such a team player and puts forth all the work that needs to be done there! He makes good protein shake also! They also offer an assortment of protein shakes! They are delicious and filled me up right away! Just had the pleasure of speaking to Mike, who stated he was the END ALL BE ALL of communication when it comes to Any 1 Fitness/Every 1 Fitness customer service. (Manager not the owner per Mike himself) (Didn't find any Mike on the site who is a manager, just read about Mike Anthony and Lisa Anthony owning ClubFitness..why is it so hard to get information on the people taking my money?) He was delightfully condescending and proceeded to hang up on me when I dared to express my confusion and quite frankly irritation that after I found out my 1-year "contract" was up I was then obligated on a month to month basis to pay them, or I had to physically come in or send a CERTIFIED letter to cancel..but still had to pay them for the month or past due. Keep in mind that I have not even stepped foot in the place in over a year..(my bad)..and have continually had the monthly charge taken out...so basically funding other people to go to the gym. Let me point out a few things here. I GET IT..we are all trying to make a buck. In fact I probably at one point or another would have forced myself to rejoin and get my butt to the gym..with that being said, I also have 3 children two full-time jobs..so Momma's a little busy, as I'm sure most would understand, I was not paying much attention to the membership and what was being taken out (I'll fire my accountant later). So when I get a text and phone call that my balance is past due and it could go into collections I figured it was way past time to make a phone call and stop paying for something I was not using. Basically throwing money down the drain. Tell me would it not frustrate any normal, hard-working person to hear that not only do I have to go out of my way to go into a place I haven't stepped foot in for over a year to cancel..or go out of my way to get a certified letter, but I STILL have to pay a past balance FOR NOTHING as well as the month I'm cancelling in..FOR WHAT?!?! There is absolutely no reason I should have to pay any more money. On top of that, his reasoning for me having to come in person is for "my protection" to make sure it's me. But when I pointed out that he had no problem accepting payment from me or talking to me on the phone after I gave him all my information to "confirm" my account, he then told me he was going to hang up on me because I was arguing with him. I believe he gave me the super cute nickname "Fighter"..awwww doesn't that just warm the heart. So even after your contract ends they basically keep you in a lifetime contract where you have to physically go in to cancel or send a certified letter..makes sense on a business side. I mean where else are you going to make the bulk of your money? What's even better is that Mike, who again, I want to point out stated that there was absolutely no one else I could speak to other than him, ended the conversation after I said that their very own recording that played on loop while I was waiting to speak with a manager stated that there were no contracts and that you could go on a month to month basis..NO OBLIGATION..hmmmm. My humble advice would be to conduct business in a fair manner, treat customers with respect, be honest, upfront, and transparent in your business practices. read more

Staying in Rehoboth I picked up a week membership. There is a lot of equipment (weight machines, free weights and cardio equipment) that will meet everyone's needs. Lot of squat racks, most of the plates are from Rouge. Also had a set of rouge dumbbells. Good quality equipment. They are open 24 hours a day. I found this gym to be one of the better equipped gyms and I have been to a lot of gyms throughout the country. read more

This is by far the best gym in the area, the price point is super affordable for what they provide. The gym is also fully equipped for any style of lifter, whether you lift casually or you're into body building. The trainers are also incredibly nice and super helpful. Dennis and Hans in particular are great trainers. They are also always looking for ways to improve and add new equipment. I lost over 100lbs coming to this gym and I'm usually there for up to 3 hours at a time 4 - 5 days a week. And don't have enough good things to say about it. They also have day passes if you're in the area and just looking to drop in for the day. read more

The gym operations and equipment are fine. The customer service is reprehensible! My husband I joined the gym in November 2017, and we used the gym once in the following 2 years. Once Covid hit I decided to cancel as I was spending that time in my other home in Pennsylvania. I called the gym in November 2020, and I was told I could not cancel over the phone and it had to be in person or via certified mail. If you recall in November 2020 there was an order that out of state travelers had to quarantine for 14 days so coming into the gym was not an option for me. I also did not want to take chances that the mail would lose my letter (if you recall the USPS was issues with mail being incredibly late) so I did not see that as an option either at the time as I wanted the charges to stop ASAP. I asked again if I could cancel over the phone and was told no. So, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. I lost the dispute, and I finally went into the gym at the end of May 2021 to cancel in person only to find out I would be charged yet another fee on my "renewal date" because of the 30-day cancellation period. So at this time they have received over $800 of monthly fees from me and my husband, for which we stepped in the gym EXACTLY ONCE. I asked for the manager to call me once he got back from lunch as I was hoping they could give me back some of the monthly fees for a service I used only once and did try to cancel via the phone. I got a call back from "Mike" (would not give last name) who said he was a manager. I explained my situation and that I also own 2 membership-based businesses also with a 30-day cancellation period. But during Covid we relaxed that 30-day period given that we were closed for 3 months (as was Everyone Fitness) and that we understood the difficulty of people coming in during Covid. The first "Mike" just repeated the company line and when he realized he could not satisfy me, put me on hold with no other explanation. Then another "Mike" comes on the call. I ask who he is and says he is a manager also. I ask if he has a last name and says he won't give out his last name, just that he is "Mike A.". Again, he towed the company line and would not give me any consideration for all the fees paid to them that were never used and also not allowing me to cancel via phone during a national pandemic. It says a lot about a business when neither manger will give you their full name. If you have nothing to be ashamed of you should have no problem giving your name. What kind of management runs this shady business? Again the gym itself is fine, but the management is heartless and will stick you if you don't follow the "contract you signed." I would encourage prospective members to think long and hard before joining this club. We have been members since 2016 and choose to help the club during the pandemic by not canceling or suspending our memberships. In June, went in person to cancel our memberships as we're switching to a more convenient gym. Everyone Fitness had JUST (2 days prior) billed our June fees. I requested they refund them as a courtesy. Manager Mike S. refused. I informed him we supported them throughout the entire pandemic while they were closed and operating in a very limited capacity. Said too bad, he "couldn't", was "not able to", said it was our fault for not canceling earlier (true), but seriously ... read on. To add insult to injury, they intend to charge us for a additional month on July 25 as "contract says 30 days notice"and we apparently"only" gave 28. That's now a 58 day notice. So much for customer service and treating long term customers well. Their billing company rep told me they're able to and would be glad to refund / waive fees upon instructions from the club management. I'd thought perhaps I'd rejoin in the future, but no more. I'll never set foot in this club again. So much for supporting them during the pandemic. read more

I wrote a review this morning about a lack of mask policing. I was there again today and the same men wore their masks down or not at all. I approached Michael and he said that when I see someone not I should come up to front desk to report them! I told them that that was his job not mine. They had 3 people behind the desk so I said you should probably just walk around and check the mask situation. He said that they couldn't be out on the floor all the time. Really! With 3 people behind the desk just chatting what's the problem? He is arrogant and he does not do HIS job. One of the staff could easily walk the floor to enforce the governors rules. Again, not my job. I pay every month and I have an expectation of safety. Maybe I should have that expectation. read more

If I could give this gym less than 1 star I would! The complete disrespect of customers is shocking! No less than 4 customers complained to the front desk in the hour I was there trying to sort out an issue I've been having with them for 12 weeks! I would give this zero stars if I could. If you want to join a gym in rehoboth, just go to Rise. Better atmosphere and better equipment. I signed up for a year membership here and wanted to cancel because I no longer worked or lived close to the gym. Over the span of several months I called 10-15 different times both the local gym and corporate. I was told to send certified mail, which costs money, requesting to cancel, which I did TWICE. I never heard back and no one was ever able to cancel until AFTER they had charged me a second annual fee which they refuse to refund. This place is a scam, if you sign a contract with them you'll never get out of it and you'll never see that money again. Do yourself a favor and don't bother. Manager was rude as well. read more

This gym's classes are overcrowded, and the daycare is terrible. I filled a complaint when I watched my child fall on his face because the girl in the daycare room wasn't watching the kids, she was too worried about the blanket around her shoulders. I had a personal training appointment and the trainer talked to me about smoking weed. I decided to just ride out my contract and then cancel, but my family ended up needing to move out of state. I figured I would have to pay an additional month and went in with my lease to cancel the right way. They charged me an additional FIFTY dollars. Mind you, the gym and daycare are crap, so I haven't even been in here for four months. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!!! Not worth it. read more

This one star is not for the staff or the equipment. All are awesome. My one star comes from nothing being done about guys taking pictures of guys in the gym. This has been told to staff several times by numerous people and apparently nothing can be done about it. One guy has been complained about at least 5x and the staff says they cannot do anything about it. The owner has been made aware as well. All i can say is that if this was a female complaining about men taking pictures i think the outcome would have been different. Can you say double standard. So if your a member of this gym or plan to be a member, keep your head on a swivel! read more
