After being a casual runner for most of my life, I had reached a point where running was no longer fun or inspiring and gave up on working out. I have been a member of the Y and various local gyms over the years and these just did not seem like an option to get personally motivated again. A couple of friends recommended Cross Fit Rehoboth, so my husband and I made an appointment to find out what it was all about. We signed up the same day. There are a few assesment appointments that give you one on one coaching before you start class, so you are familiar with the movements and executing them safely. It also helped me feel less intimidated when we first started going to class. Class sizes are limited so that you are getting personal attention every time you attend. The support from the coaches and other members has truly been inspriational and motivating. I have heard people say they've heard CrossFit is a cult - well it is!! A cult of AWESOMENESS. There are people of every size, shape and ability and everyone is super supportive and encouraging. It is hard to have a bad day when you show up, try your best and leave feeling like you've really accomplished something good for your self. I joined Crossfit Rehoboth based upon a friend's recommendation and it has proven to be one of the best decisions I have made for my mental health and fitness. I do not have a history of athletic ability, but the coaches ensured I was able to learn all the correct forms and techniques so that I would not injure myself. I am endlessly impressed with how much stronger I am becoming and how much my endurance is increasing. It is truly a team environment that anyone can benefit from. I have been a member of CFR for almost 6 months now. I have never been so excited to go workout before in my life until CFR. The atmosphere is something special that I have never witnessed before. Each class feels like a team effort even though we are usually doing individual workouts. The staff is exceptional! The coaches know how to build each members skill and form up before letting them attempt more difficult movements or lifts. I recently signed up for CrossFit Rehoboth Beach and I can say with certainty that it's even better than I expected. Coaches are very professional and attentive to every detail. They spend lots of time to explain technique for each exercise. All exercises are very intense and are held in a good rhythm. Great gym and people, dropped in for a week on vacation (I live and coach in Denver) and received excellent workouts. Staff was friendly and knowledgable.
