I went in to have a cavity filled in March and now it's mid June and I have only been able to eat on one side of my mouth ever since because of the pain when I bite down. Every employee including corp manager Araceli Navarro lie about every single thing and have no communication have no professionalism make up a bunch of bs and will just waste your time and if you end up saying anything they will end up saying we have dismissed you from our office. I had an appointment today at your office and I always try to be honest about my past. As soon as I mentioned my past, the doctor did not want to deal with me and because of insurance as well. I feel like I was rushed out because I'm poor. I had a lot of anxiety going in the first place, and now you made me feel even more worthless. These people are awful! I highly suggest you avoid this place! When I first went in I was told they needed to extract a bunch of teeth but that they would not work on me until I got a medical release from my doctor. What? Are you kidding me? Why in the world would they need that? My doctors office didn't understand either. They gave the release and finally agreed to treat me after a month but then said they had no appointments because the dentist was out of town. Then they called me back and sent me an appointment with the other dentist. He told me he was going to work on my two front teeth because I specifically asked if that was where he was starting. Still, no one took an x-ray in regards to replacing a crown which I kept mentioning but kept being ignored. He didn't work on my two teeth but I was so numb that I didn't realize that he worked. When I got in my car I realize that he had covered all three teeth with filling (not proper bonding ) which was yellow and did not match my teeth, at all! It was also very grainy and not at all smooth and did not cover any teeth evenly. They were billing my insurance before I walked out the door. They build for this work that they did not do properly. After calling and being blown off, sent to the answering service and even sent to another office location I finally got the manager on the phone, B-rad was rude and told me that everyone has the same color of teeth and that if I want it done again to actually match my teeth then I would need to pay so they could order the correct color... they basically used the regular filling product as bonding which is not correct! He refused to have any conversations with me and told me I should file a complaint and hung up on me! Got a second opinion who agreed that this was not done properly but insurance won't pay for me to have it redone and it's all coming apart now I'm going to lose more of my teeth to have this removed and have it corrected and it's going to take up to a year before I can even address it. These people have caused me so many problems and so much stress! Please do not go there. It's not worth the damage to your teeth and the heartache you will experience. SCAM ARTISTS The first time I went to this office back in September they performed an excessive number of X-rays because according to the office staff "the doctor likes to take this number when you have a PPO" translation the doctor likes to bill insurance and collect $$$ this same dentist proceeded to barely look at my teeth and performed NO cleaning. He was more concerned with leaving the office early then caring for his patient. I had to return to the office to see another dentist who cleaned and checked my teeth properly. Thankfully, they didn't charge me or my insurance for this second visit. I returned to the office, mostly out of convenience, today for my 6 month checkup. A member of the office staff reviewed what my charges would be for the visit, approximately $100 because there were MORE X-rays needed. Barley six months later and you need more X-rays?! No, you don't. After explaining I did not want the X-rays they sent another staff member back to speak with me to explain the charges and how I hadn't met my deductible and it was a new year. I work in healthcare I fully understand deductibles and how insurance works. They explained that if the doctor wanted new X-rays they were needed. No, the doctor and this practice wants $$ it's that simple. I will NEVER be returning to this practice or any practices it's affiliated with. I will also be reporting their practices to my insurance company as they should be made aware of what their providers practices are. I brought my child in to have a cavity filled and now she can't chew on the left side of her mouth. They told me they weren't going to charge me for the 2nd visit since she was having issues related to their work, but billed my insurance for an emergency visit. After 3 visits and having a problem that didn't exist before I brought her there, I asked to have the charges reversed so I could have her looked at by another dentist and not pay out of pocket and apparently it takes 14 days for Ivette to even look at my claim according to their staff and Office Manager Aracelly. I even tried calling different locations to get someone higher since my child CANNOT CHEW and it always comes down to Ivette. First things first...no joke, took me 4 months to get an appointment for a teeth cleaning due my name not being on their so called "List"; until your name appears on "The List" they will not make any appointments. My insurance company set them as my primary in December and just had my appointment on the 4th of April; first strike. Second...I go in for my cleaning. They start with polishing my teeth...humm isn't this usually the l last thing that happens after your teeth are cleaned? The assistant then got the dentist to come in and examine my teeth. At that time I asked "The cleaning isn't over with is it", they said no. The dentist seriously without exaggeration took two more minutes, scraped my teeth and then was finished. Moral of this story...I would NEVER go back to them, I wouldn't not trust they care about their patients, and know they are not a reputable business. STAY AWAY!!! read more

My daughter went with my wife to get her braces off today, July 28 2020. My wife expressed her desire to be with her in the room as she is 13 and a minor. They, rudely, explained she was not allowed back. This is there new policy due to corona. Then, rudely, said that she had to wait outside because that was new Illinois policy. If you have to pass understanding of new policy, which is flawed and wrong, you should do so cautiously and kindly I would say. Especially when it's a parent and their minor child!!! My wife called to tell me all this and I heard much of it on the phone! I explained then that our daughter should FaceTime my wife the whole time. The front desk people literally laughed at her and said "Good luck with that"!!!!! This is not the first time they have been out right rude and as we have experienced in the past they are even rude to the doctors when talking to them! I will never allow my family or anyone I talk to go here EVER again!!! The absolute horrid way they treat people when they are just a concerned parent is despicable!! My brother had a root canal done yesterday and they sent him out with no pain prescriptions and told him to take regular ibuprofen from the store. He has been in severe pain so I called the office and the dentist, Dr. Lee, refused to prescribe him anything and said he's not in any pain. Excuse me??? He's the one that had the procedure done!! I waited over 45 min after my appointment time to be called. Once in the chair a "cleaning" was done. She brushed my teeth for maybe 20 seconds and that was it. Not flossing, no checking the gums, no tartar removal, no fluoride, not even a proper cleaning. My teeth feel cleaner when I brush them myself than they did leaving there. I was told I needed 2 small fillings and they would call me to make an appointment. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't heard from them. obviously, I would never let these clowns drill my teeth anyway, but that's not the point! I was here yesterday morning for three fillings. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get all the fillings done yesterday, or just the X-rays and come back.... but the dentist I saw here was great and we did everything in one visit. The office seemed pretty busy with patients and organized for a Monday morning. I had to bring my baby with me and towards the end of my apointment she started getting fussy and the dental assistant was very nice/friendly talking to her until I was finished. I had a really good experience. No pain the next day and my "bite" feels normal! Very pleased. read more

Made an appointment 3 weeks prior, received several phone calls & texts throughout the weeks before confirming I would be there. Confirmed. Arrived at my appointment on time, the receptionist girl tells me some call center contacted me the day before my appointment (which was a Friday) to verify my dental insurance. No voicemail was left. At the time of arriving the receptionist tells me I can't be seen unless I want to pay out of pocket because I didn't answer that phone call. Now the insurance place is closed so they're unable to verify my coverage. I would need to pay out of pocket. I tell her that my appointment was made weeks ago and they attempt to do this the day before and now that I'm here to be seen they can't? No one decided to call me beforehand from their office to advise? I left. Dozens of ppl in the office had Illinois Medicaid, here I am actually paying for my coverage and I can't be seen? HAH. I will have to say, I was a little bit nervous about going to a dentist that accepts the state insurance, other places I have been have treated me rudely and have been run down and almost unsanitary looking. Everyone's Family Dental was none of those. Very clean, very friendly people and are working on helping my daughter with her missing teeth (who knew she had no adult teeth coming in behind a few---aahhhh) We will definately going back to the follow up visits and getting her smile fixed. read more

Started going here in 2014, female dentist that was very knowledgeable, thorough, and took great care of my teeth. Abruptly, during appointments the dentist that I was familiar with was replaced, with no warning or anything. This dentists has meesed up on fillings and while doing do was asking the assistant constantly about whether or not the next patient was here yet. Have had to go back several times for issues with 1 filling, and after consulting other dentists (2), was told that some of tge work scheduled was not needed, and the pain I had been complaining about for months was from a tooth that I said and Everyone's ignored. McHenry Office....I would give zero stars if I could!!! I have had an ongoing issue since February 2018! I finally had a root canal, Dr Minn....He has no professionalism, and after all is said and done, I still have sensitivity and he still put the crown on and said that was normal! I have made numerous attempts to talk with the management and have been told that there is only ONE person I can talk with, Karen, and since July 24, she has not returned my calls or emails. My crown does not fit correctly and it cuts my tongue and I cannot get anyone to take responsibility for that too. I have emailed pictures of my tongue to them and still no response!! Every time I call and ask for Karens boss, they tell me that she is the only one I can talk too and yet, no one ever calls me back and I have had to deal with a tooth that is still in pain, and a tongue that has a continuous sore due to their poor work. I cannot express my disappointment with this practice and their level of disrespect their patients. I would go to another dentist but feel that they are responsible to fix their errors before I move on. I have made a complaint to the ADA and hope that helps the other patients from the same problems I have had to endure. I am an educated grown woman of 55 years old and feel as though they think I will just go away.....not me! this is my tooth, my quality of life, and they can't just ignore me because I won't allow it! They have multiple facilities and the staff rotates from chicago elgin and mchenry Some of the doctors dont know how to read a chart but I will say Some are very good but they dont stay! They are always changing dentists with new one in and out-I think its more of a teaching facility which you dont want on your teeth! Today was my daughter and myselfs first appointment there and I will say I really thought the staff was super nice and very helpful with my daughter who is almost 2. They kept her entertained and made it super easy for me to be seen and have my cleaning. That is awesome to the fullest. Took our kids there for dental work. Dentist was great, and thought the price was fair. A few days later, we noticed on our bank account that they cashed our check and also ran it as an electronic transaction....so we got charged twice. We figured, no big deal, probably just a correctable error on their end. Well, the "manager" we need to talk to seems to never be in, and doesn't return calls. Everybody we did get to talk to seems kind of shady, and doesnt really care about our problem. One girl even told me that the office manager works from home.....no wonder this type of activity goes on there. Finally , after weeks of this hassle, our bank is stepping in. Obviously, based on my star rating I do not recommend Everyone's Family Dental! The McHenry office used high pressure sales tactics while I was literally in the dental chair. They wanted cash before they would start my root canal. I was in a vulnerable position and pain so I paid them a handsome amount to have the root canal. This was done at 100% out of pocket as insurance did not cover the root canal. I found out later that I was charged a much higher than average fee for this particular tooth in comparison to other dentists! It is considered a simple root canal and they took advantage of the circumstances. Then when I tried to get a copy of my records including x-rays they want to charge a $50 fee. THAT IS EXCESSIVE! They consider the records theirs even though the insurance paid them to do the x-rays. OK they are your records, a small convenience fee I could understand but $50 are you kidding me? I found many better options for dental care in the area and you should too! Avoid this outfit at all cost, you will be glad you did! read more

BEWARE! Let me just say, THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T END UP WORKING ON MY TEETH! I was referred here by McHenry county as an office that takes the county emergency dental voucher they issued. (This is not the county's fault), I just decided to contact this location from the list of referrals they gave me in the area. At my initial appointment, the 1st girl to see me, I believe was new. She had a hard time taking the X-Rays and if she was cleaning my teeth, it didn't seem like it in comparison to previous teeth cleanings. I've had my share as I typically have insurance and typically frequent the dentist every 6 months. During this visit, I couldn't help but feel annoyed. Although I don't blame the girl taking care of me bc I would be distracted by a loud co worker that's working next to me. Just not very professional. But that's not what my review is about. After awhile, the actual dentist came in and said I'd need a root canal and unless I had the extra $700 and something extra over the $1000, she couldn't work on it. Assured me that once I got govt coverage, they would cover the remaining 2 parts of the process. I didn't waste a minute and was on top of it. Immediately upon notice I called to make my final and last appt to get the root canal done now that I had coverage. I ended up having to wait 2 weeks to get in for an hour appt. Something that started out as an emergency quickly flew out the door. Upon arrival today, I was greeted and directed to a more private room. After awhile a new dentist walks in, takes a look at my tooth and directs me to a specialist. It wasn't her fault but I had to question, why make me wait 2 weeks for a Root Canal they couldn't do. I had an emergency, even called Saturday crying hoping they could fit me in from a cancellation. It's pretty disappointing but I'm getting it fixed by Eagle Falls Dentistry tomorrow! After squeezing me in a 30 min time slot they made available, the dentist x-rayed and confirmed, my took didn't need a specialist, and he is quit capable of doing the root canal himself without being a specialist. I was totally confident in his word vs the other place and they came in a bit cheaper!! Hmmmmm, everything happens for a reason doesn't it? Thanks for reading, hope this review helps. I recently visited this Dental practice for a tooth that had been bothering me for weeks. Not only did they give me an appointment 2 weeks later after i had called with my emergency but when i finally got in there and in the chair i had explained different problems i was having and all this dentist did was tell me it would be 500 dollars for a root canal up front or he could pull my tooth for free since thats all my medicaid paid for but he didnt even address any of the other problems i wanted to discuss. Now i had the 500 dollars to pay for my root canal bt because of this dentists total lack of sensitivity and the overall feeling of being uncomfortable since he didnt want to even look at any other problems i was having i opted to get the heck out of there. I would not reccommend this dentist and i look forward to passing the word around to absolutely not go here. Very Very Very unprofessional. On a side note..... I said to the dentist it has been less than a year. so he agreed to do it for free. so I make an appointment but had to cancel. so the second appointment was made during school time near end of day, I go in and receptionist tells me how much its going to cost. I said doctor doing it for free. she said he isn't working today. I said I shouldn't have to pay for a filling twice in a years time.
