They charged exactly what was discussed/contained in their brochure. They did not charge extra for delivery. They leveled the shed with cinder blocks (our yard is not level). The shed was built to our exact specifications and they placed it in the corner of the yard that I asked them to with about 12 inch clearance from the fence. We compared the price of the shed to two other competitors and they had the best price for what we received. I could not be happier with the entire process. The same gentleman who sold us the shed delivered it. He was courteous and conscientious during both. He did not rush the delivery process as some companies do. He verified with me throughout that the placement was correct. The only thing that may turn some customers away is that they do not deliver on the weekend. This was not a big deal for us. If you want a shed and live in Southern Maryland, this is the place to go. I do not think I could have built the shed for what they charge and it is in my back yard a week after the order. Great company.

This place is well worth a long trip. In addition to tobacco baskets left from its old existence (on sale for around $5 each), the place is chock a block with furniture, tools and restaurant equipment. I bought a solid ash mid century modern table with expandable leaf and three chairs for $50. I also bought a solid pine Amish hutch that I am now using as a plant hutch for $125. Dave the owner also runs Golden Oak Auctions, and can help sell your old furniture and stuff. The Barn also hosts about a dozen antique merchants who seems to uniformly have high quality stuff. In fact, a couple of them have told me this is where they store and fix their stuff before they move it on to their antique stores in Maryland and Virginia. Overall, if you like antique shops and flea markets you have to go there. There is also an Amish stand with vegetables, fruits and cheese for sale.

There are new toys, metal signs, posters, collectibles, household items, fishing gear and various other items. Plan on spending some time so you can see it all. The easiest way to get into his area is around the back of the building. Follow the red carpet into the building and make a left to go up to his section. It will be worth your time. There are many other vendors who have a variety of items for sale. Something for everyone! And they're open year round!

After a tip from a nearby local I ended up here. I was in search for end tables and a few other…read moreitems. Pulling in here I was a bit skeptical that the hot tip I got would actually span out. But, in the end, I was happily surprised. Walking in you are welcomed by a vast space filled to the brim with items to search through. This place could literally be a treasure hunt if you have the time to do so. Even though it was quite tempting, I was on a mission to find what I came here for. Making my way to the area where they had all their furniture was almost like walking into a different section here. I zig-zagged my way through the area and taking glimpses at items as I went. It was hard to figure out if the item you were looking at was a singular item or part of a matching set. It was also hard to tell if an item was for sale or if it was just a display item. It was also hard to tell if that item was sold already or not. After searching and searching, I decided on what I wanted. However, with my never being here before, and not knowing what to do, I had to search for an employee to figure this out. Now, you want to talk about a treasure hunt, this was a treasure hunt trying to find an employee. After my search was successful, I was able to figure out what to do to at least pay for the items. I paid and then needed to get those items into my vehicle. After some time and employee was able to get the end tables out of the area they were and up to the front. Once I had them in my vehicle I was able to head home. Once I got them home I did a healthy cleaning and polishing. Tightened a few screws and they were good as new. Actually gave me some great space to store and display. I wanted to touch on the employees here. If they are good at one thing, it is how to avoid the customers and/or displayed disdain in helping customers. There was no affect on the gentleman that helped me load the tables into my vehicle. And having to play hide and seek/tag with the employees was not super toddler fun like it used to be.
