I called Hi-Tech Auto when they opened, they responded very speedily. I also had no other car to meet them at the abandoned car location but they quickly offered to come to me and get the key to the abandoned car. I informed them the location and they went to retrieve it...unfortunately it was no longer at the place it had died. Hi-Tech Auto made a few phone calls and tracked the car's location to an impound. They patiently worked with me, I had to pick up cash at the bank for the impound. Hi-Tech Auto took care of the headache of retrieving the impounded car for me and brought it back to the destination I specified. Very PRO, very communicative throughout the entire process, super honest, generous with their time, all at a very reasonable price considering how much time they took to get this job resolved for me. I was new to the Forest Hills, East Pittsburgh area, and needed a place that was close to me to get my car inspected and get repairs done. So, I called 1-800 Buick and they hooked me up with North Star who stated they would also call when parts were in. North Star called 2 days later and car was in 3 days after that and repaired. I was going down route 51 and I pulled into Greenwald automotive. I had not been there before but was hoping they had an indoor air hose. Gary took care of me took my car into the bay checked all of my tires and made sure that my car was safe. These are kinds of businesses that people need to frequent. I got no answer and then I read that the shop closed at 5 p.m. This shop has had 0 communication with me all day except when I called at 2 p.m. I had to call off work where I started at 7 p.m. because Greenwalds neglected to tell me my car would not be completed. I left a message and emailed the shop with no answer. Hopefully they will actually call me tomorrow and not leave me wondering if my car is completed. I would never come back to this shop they are awful with communication and very unprofessional. They have no regard and respect towards other peoples time. If I were you do not go to this place.

So disappointed, having Bought over a dozen New Chevy trucks for my business in my lifetime , but this will certainly be my last truck from General Motors. Recently had a bit of car trouble and called up roadside assistance. They set everything up for me, which I thought would translate to quick service. That was completely a lie, wish that would be a complimented by a Maury clip. With the roadside assistance you got text updates and a tracking app to let you know where they are at and when they will arrive. This is kind of where it went downhill. The app never updated, at first I thought it was the company I was dealing with for roadside assistance. Turns out, no, it was the tow truck company. It was 45 minutes and no one was there yet. I was sitting near Delmont and they were coming from Cheswick, I understand there was going to be a bit of lag in showing up, but there was no indication that anything had happened. The app still showed that they were at their place of business. At the hour mark I called the company and asked what was going on. Turns out that the driver decided to go pick up a buddy first, then stop and get fuel, then head my way. Thanks man, no worries, it was just cold out, the people in the neighborhood were worried about me and checked up on me more than you did. Mind you, I was attempting to get to the dealership before they closed to get everything in order. Also to try and get myself a rental/ride since I was between home and work. They showed up a hour and 45 minutes after I first made contact for assistance. I am now massively late for work and doubt I would get to the dealership in 15 minutes. Whatever, I talked to them on the phone and told them my dilemma. When we get to the dealership I told them where to put my car down at. That was disregarded totally. They sat it down where they wanted. I then had to right a note with a description of my vehicle and where it was parked on the lot to leave with my key. It was a headache that was topped off by an awkward ride to the dealership. Like I said at the beginning of the review I was hoping for the best, but ended up in a near nightmare.

I dropped my car off and then she told me I could pick it up the next morning, the following morning she called me about another issue and said it was $200 extra dollars and I reiterated I had gotten a loan and only had what she quoted me for and she said ok. Around 3:00pm she called me and said it would be $2200 and I told her that was not the price she told me and she said that the other location where my car was taken to had different prices so she couldn't guarantee her quote over there. I told her that doesn't make sense because obviously I gave my car to her and her location where the quote was told to me. She told me she would call them and figure it out and gave me the phone number and address to where my car was for me to also call to which they said that she told them to do all this extra work that I DID NOT ASK FOR OR AUTHORIZE. To which they told me they would call me back. I waited but got no word so at 4:30 I called Mary Joe back and asked what was going on and she said and I quote "Well you have to pay because I sent you the invoice in your email and if your email doesn't work then that's not my problem" and the call ended.. I show up to explain to the people who had my car what was going on and that they did things I hadn't authorized and the guy said I was going to pay for what they did. I explained again that I had gotten a loan and did not have any other money and did not authorize any extra repairs. It wasn't until I called the police that they decided to take everything off the car and give it back, which I was fine with because i would take it elsewhere that will do it for the price they quote me for and not try to rob me. They tried to tell me that I could come pick up my car the following day when they had already had it for 2 days and I told them no and I would not leave without my vehicle because I don't trust them since they lied about pricing to which the man got in my face and said he would "DRAG ME OUT". After almost an hour of arguing, aggression, back and forth between me and almost all the staff (shout out to Lou for being the only person to calmly express sympathy because obviously he knew they were scamming me and tried to help me very calmly) they finally agreed that they would take things off and match the quote I was originally given. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE OR TRUST THEM WITH MY CAR what they do over there is illegal, you can't just do whatever you want on anyone's car without authorization just for money and this will be reported to the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
