We waited the 60 minutes and your excuse was there was one ahead and when I asked what the ETA would be you said another 45 -60 minutes and of course that wasn't true because i called again and you said another 30 minutes????? Really? Why take the call. You solve been honest where as we could have did what ever we needed to do and you could've called and said you were on your way. But no you lied! My car died in a parking garage in downtown Pittsburgh on a Saturday night. I am on business from North Carolina and felt totally helpless. I called AAA and they arranged for Kendall towing to come to my aid. The service tech checked my battery, it needed to be replaced. My car had an uncommon battery and they did not have one to replace it. They ordered a new battery for me, came back on Monday to jump me, installed the new battery and got me back on the road. Compared to my previous AAA service (Foremost Auto), Kendall Towing is far and away, faster, nicer, and more knowledgeable. Last night after a show in Downtown Pittsburgh, my vehicle wouldn't start. I called AAA for what I thought was a dead battery. The battery truck arrived and promptly diagnosed that the starter was bad, not the battery, so he told me to call AAA back and request a tow truck, which I did. The tow truck arrived fast also, and had me towed to the Nissan dealer in less than an hour from beginning to end. Since I had the basic AAA, I had to pay for anything over 3 miles, and the tow cost me $10 out of pocket ... not bad at all. Thanks to Kendall Towing for making my bad night a little less bad ... Driver was over two hours late. When he showed up he was incredibly rude and aggressive. He cussed at us, slammed doors, and threw his tools around like a big baby throwing a tantrum. He then charged us to ride with him even though triple a told us he would be able to give us a lift. He claimed he had no seating- there was plenty of seating. He then drove like a maniac, tailgating others, drifting across the lines, and speeding over 20 mph over the posted limit. The experience felt extremely unsafe. Bar none this was the worst service I've ever had, across every industry. If triple a assigns you this company, I suggest begging and pleading with them to send you another provider. read more

Gave me and my wife 4ETAs , 8:28p, 9:48p, 9:58p, 11:17p and never showed. AAA offered 3 mile courtesy and the driver wanted $120 upfront (Cash). That was not disclosed with agent. Also driver cancels without notifying customer in distress. We ended up call another company. Also the request was under an emergency call as well. I'll have a hard time trusting them after this. I am a 12 year long AAA member and will heavily consider discontinuing after this. read more

Had to be towed so I had it taken to Kendall. Eric the mechanic explained everything clearly and gave me two options to obtain the part needed (a starter). Because I needed to get home, he squeezed me into their schedule and had me going the day after. And the quote he provided was spot on - no extra or unexpected charges. Very unprofessional and very rude. In my initial inquiry I was advised that it would be a 30+ minute wait until someone could get to me which is completely understandable. 30+ minutes pass by and I received a phone call from an employee stating that the driver is outside and he doesn't see me. He said he was outside the Hyatt which is not the location I gave. I was in the Luna Garage (top level) and I was standing by the gated entrance. The caller said that I said I would be on the street (strike 1) I never said that. The employee then said that he is at the address I gave and proceeded to repeat the address and I said the driver is not here in which the employee replied well that's the address (strike 2). The employee then proceeded to argue with me that I would have to move my car out of the garage (I'm on a flat) because the tow truck won't fit and I had to explain to him 3x that I'm on the top entrance which starts outside and he doesn't have to go into the actual garage. He then proceeds to hang up. Another 10 or so minutes go by and another employee calls to say that the driver is outside and doesn't see me (I am at the intersection of the main round and the garage at this point) and I explain to him that I have been there for 10 or so minutes and haven't seen the driver. The employee says he is parked in front of jiffy lube on the main road (he wasn't) so I again say I don't see any tow trucks around. The driver then finally comes down the street where I proceed to flag him down but he drives past me yet there is hope because at least this time he does drive into the parking garage entrance where they are stopped by the gate. As I am walking back towards the gate the driver starts to reverse and I again have to flag them down to let them know that I am the one they're looking for. The driver is very visibly annoyed and says I need to open the gate (obviously). I proceed to page security to open the gate. While doing so the driver is yelling from his window (tow truck still running) that I need to pull my car out ( car still on a flat) or he has to leave he can't wait because he has other tows, I said go ahead. I then call the company back to let them know what happened and the employee says that I told the driver it would be 15 mins before security can open the gate (and the lie detector determined that was a lie) and I advise the employee that I never said that. I proceed to tell the employee about how unprofessional and unorganized this experience has been and they respond with well you got 2 options wait for our 10 o'clock guy to come in or call around else where. So now I have sent over an hour to get me nowhere. 0/10 don't recommend. read more

I got into my car in the parking lot of my apartment building and it would not start. I called AAA and they told me someone should arrive to help within the hour. About 20 minutes later, the nicest man (I forgot his name!) came to my rescue. He gave my battery some juice and checked to make sure everything was okay. I was driving along and suddenly my engine started surging and it became difficult to stop my car. I called AAA and they sent Mike Snipes from Kendall Towing to tow my car. When he got there I described the problem, and he knew exactly what the issue was! He opened the hood and re-attached the throttle body to the hose, which my mechanic had failed to secure a few days earlier when he replaced my radiator.
