We take the test back and we get a call after the information has been processed that my husband needs to come back in to discuss the results, okay fine. They tell him the results are not conclusive enough to say that he has sleep apnea and that the dr recommends taking another test. So my husband does what the dr says and takes another test. And then again goes back in for them to tell him, yes you do have sleep apnea. Okay great. We move along wit the process of getting him a CPAP elsewhere. When we finally get our bill in the mail we have been charged $170 for EACH office visit, one of which they literally just said "oh you need to take it again for a more conclusive result". AND they charges for both sleep studies even though the first was not conclusive, because "the dr still had to evaluate the graphs from the study" a study with barely two hours of information on it. Not only is their billing a joke, so is their customer service. While trying to figure out why we were being charged for all these things I obviously had to call them several times, their billing department, as well as the receptionist. The dr kept giving everyone different answers as to why my husband needed to take another sleep study. Any time I would call with questions no one would answer, I almost always has to leave a voicemail and wait 1-3 days for a call back. And when I did get a call back from the receptionist, Melissa, she would give no helpful information and say "I will have to talk with the dr about that and give you a call back" which happened several times, only to never recieve a call back and I would have to follow up with her, but again she never answers the phone. I have been dealing with this since the beginning of October and have now been trying for 4 days to get ahold of them, and they refuse to answer my calls. I even involved my insurance company and had them call on my behalf, they called the same exact number I have been calling and of course she answered the phone for them. I then called immediately after and no answer. Seriously a joke of a business.

In fact five days after an office visit the technician Kara called, as promised, to see how the new equipment is doing. Prior to this visit, our former tech who has transferred to a new location within the company called to get us set up with her replacement. Jamie spent as much time as needed to answer our questions and get us transferred. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and ensure that you have a good experience with them as well. All these companies receive Medicare reimbursement, but CPap acts more like a private company wanting to earn your business. There was far more focus on getting paid and billing insurance than understanding the customer, answering questions, or helping with their health. The service, knowledge, and transparency were extremely disappointing. Patients deserve care, not a billing opportunity. Look elsewhere.

It is important for people to educate themselves about these abusive practices by medical providers.
