This building is on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. It is an event space, holds some…read morecampus departments, and it also has a small food court in the main lobby (1st floor). I may have been inside this beautiful building before, last year (2018) when a church held a service here. I did visit again yesterday (5 March 2019) for a free Immigration Law lecture. I had to cancel a free Yelp Ice-Cream event to come to this Immigration discussion (yes, my career means a-lot to me)...haha. ENVIRONMENT -- This is an environmentally friendly building. It has been awarded with a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold status from the U.S. Green Building Council. STUDYING -- This building is actually opened 24 hours so students can stay up all night studying in here. You do need a Case student ID to enter between the hours of 11pm - 7am. There are tables and chairs on the main floor which is also where the food court is. This may not be a good area to get work done because it tends to get noisy but I'm sure after 9pm, it quiets down since the food court will be closed by then. There is free wifi as well so just connect to the network. I believe the network name is "Case" or something to that effect. Overall, the architecture of this building (both outside and inside) is awesome. Stop by and visit if you are in the area. Parking will be tough because the street parking will most likely be full but there is a parking lot nearby. *** - 43 total reviews in 2019 - 253 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 6 March 2019

I was going to get one but it was very hard. No rice pudding today sadly. The chocolate chip caramel cookie was kinda sorta soft and flavorful. Dominik's Deli is a deli/market located in the lively Lee Rd district (DORA) of Cleveland Heights…read more The deli is famous for their pizza, subs, homemade ice cream and Italian ice. You can also find grains, cases with dessert, and beer inside. The deli is extremely tidy. Various dining options exist - inside at a table (one table available) or outside/patio (two tables available). Service here is always top notch, genuinely nice people, and very quick service. Prices are comparable to prices at any other metropolitan spot. I'm obsessed with their Papa sub. It has prosciutto de Parma, Brie, wild arugula, local honey, and toasted pistachio. It tastes like eating a tasty charcuterie, so fresh and delish. Another favorite is rice pudding. It's so gooey and tasty. Every sub I tried here tastes extremely fresh and has quality ingredients. The bread, the meat, and the ingredients. Consistently delicious. It's a quality you'd expect at a restaurant, not a deli. Parking can be found on the other side of Lee Rd (municipal lot) or street parking in the area. If you'll enjoy this experience, the owner also owns Zina and Chicken Ranch in the next city over.

Even in the studio, I can have people over without feeling too cramped. The noise isolation of the apartments is great and I have my own high efficiency washer and drawer in the unit. The neighborhood is wonderful (just outside little Italy) with a lot of options for food and drinks as well has having extremely close proximity to both University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic as well as public transportation. The building offers some nice amenities such as an outdoor fire-pit and grill area, community space, bike room, package acceptance/lockers, covered parking (for $165 a month) and the Tremont athletic club which offers a membership discount to residents. However, for me overall it was not worth the price and is why I will not be renewing my lease. My biggest issue was that there was absolutely no sound proofing done whatsoever in this unit. Noise from neighbors can be expected in any apartment building, but this was worse than any complex I have lived in. Not only could I hear the people above me walking around, but also opening and closing doors, moving furniture, turning on the disposal. I could even their conversations and tv. This was extremely disruptive to sleep, work and overall really annoying. Quality of the apartments themselves was my other big issue. There is a complete lack of overhead lighting in the bedrooms and the family room spaces in this apartment. In the final few months of the lease the door handles were beginning to become loose and some even looked like they would fall off, the carpet began to pull up in some of the corners, and the AC broke (it took two maintenance requests for them to actually figure out and solve the issue). Throughout the lease we have had a several issues with plumbing as well as with appliances, and had to have the blinds fixed after they fell off the window. When my roommates and I were told that our already pricey rent would be going up by several hundred dollars that was the final nail in the coffin and we decided that it was not worth renewing the lease for that price. If you are interested in this building, I would recommend asking to see the units both during the day and at night to determine if the noise levels are something you can manage, as well as doing a thorough overview of the apartment and asking the management team to address any issues you find before singing a lease.
