    Side salad for $7
    Lori L.

$7 for a "side salad" that looked like it was put together as an afterthought. Tiny portion, zero value, and not worth the price. Felt more like a joke than a menu item--definitely won't be ordering that again.

I love this place. Great options and so many great choices. They sell whole cakes, slices of cake, cookies, pastries etc

We love Corbos pasta and pizza house. We live down the street and frequently pick up pizza a best pizza in Little Italy in my opinion. I also like getting their pasta (chicken parm is one of my favorites there), which definitely has the feel of fresh homemade pasta noodles. Good service for pick-up. Not really the kind of place you'd eat inside, although there are tables so it's an option.

Slice Pizza really good. Traditional pan crust $3.50. Fresh Tomato sauce along with buttery crust and pepperoni make it hit. Old school Italian vibe on the pizza side of the store. Can sit inside or walk around with your slice. Will try the sandwiches next time.

    Cannoli

We only got a cannoli to eat for a dessert, but it was amazing. Never had one before and it was made fresh to order and blew me away how great it was. Service at the counter was nice and quick to serve us. Ambiance was fitting to the vibe of the community and bakery. Was a fun dessert stop.

Such a good place for bakeries and snacks we came here for some snacks to enjoy after our wine tasting later today

The baked goods at Corbo's never disappoint! My husband and I stopped in after having dinner up the street. This visit, we had the cannoli and birthday cake. Both treats were delicious per usual. Last time we visited, I tried the pistachio ricotta cake which was heavenly! I love that the desserts here don't taste overly sweet! The service was prompt and efficient. There isn't much ambiance other than cases of treats to view, but when I'm in the market for baked goods, that's all I really need .

Corbo's is open late and is the most inviting place after a delicious dinner on a snowy December evening in Little Italy. We purchased a couple of the larger pastries and an assortment of cookies and biscotti, and all were delicious. The Italian donut (I think that's what it was called) was filled with cannoli cream and so good. Nice selection, friendly service.

A delicious bakery in the heart of Little Italy! So many great traditional treats! The eclair was excellent.

Had been craving Leavened for a week and finally decided to give in. Only problem is it's near my…read moregym... so I got pastries after a workout session. Whatever. I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

I think I've tried this place enough to finally declare it an overall disappointment. Today I tried…read morethe hoisin tofu sandwich. The bread was fresh and crusty, there were two small strips of tofu that had maybe been dribbled on by hoisin sauce at some point, some lettuce and jalapeño slices, and carrots. The sandwich was dry as a bone and a really sad empty version of a banh mi. The chocolate rye cookie I bought as a back up was thankfully still deliciously chocolatey and soft as usual. The guy at the register said the bread pudding still has a "cinnamon roll base, so it has orange in it" despite nothing in the sign denoting this awful addition to bread pudding and the fact that cinnamon rolls are not orange rolls. But I digress and I won't fight with a cashier over their poor decisions lol. Also got a cherry chocolate sourdough on impulse. Pray it is soft inside.

My son and I picked up a variety of pastries to take with us. We really would have loved one of the refrigerated tortes, but we would not be going home immediately and I was concerned about that being with us on a hot July day. We'll just have to come back and try it next time. This is a very clean and organized little shop that has been around for awhile. I love these classic locally owned gems that you just don't see as much as you should. I love their unique pineapple/walnut Linzer torte. Quite tasty. Of course we tried the apple and the more traditional raspberry hazelnut too. My favorite thing we tried was hands-down the lemon bar. That buttery texture complements the tartness of the lemon perfectly. Well done, Farkas family. Can't wait til our next visit!

We ordered the Napoleon, Amaretto Square, the Gerbaud, and Apple Linzer. The Napoleon was a 10 out of 10. We are one in the car and went back for more. The texture was great. Flaky, creamy, delicious. The Amaretto Square. Was good as well. Not too sweet, beautifully made. The Amaretto flavor wasn't as good as some others I've had. Maybe it's the type of flavoring/Amaretto used. The Gerbaud was definitely a crunchier dessert. Again made beautifully and has great flavor. The Apple Linzer. Another hit. The filling and Crust were perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. Service was great. Obviously this place has been around for a very long time. They know what they are doing. Only thing I would say is that it needs a facelift. Maybe not for locals but coming from out of town the look doesn't make you want to come in. Nor does the way the pastries are show cased. It just all feels run down. Not a place I would ever visit or offer good from ordinarily if I hadn't read such great reviews before going. We all eat with our eyes first.
