It was not too crowded, and there is a lot of parking on both the left and right side of the zoo, which made it easy. Before entering, there are many vendors selling food, hats, accessories, and children's toys. Children under 2 are free, ages 2 to 12 were $22, and adults were $27. I believe there is also a senior price, possibly around $24. We were able to go through the entire zoo in about 4 hours, and the kids spent some time at the playground, which was new to me since I had not been here in a few years. If you are going without children or with older kids, you could probably get through it faster. Some animals had been relocated to another zoo, and the elephants were not there, which was a bit of a bummer. We were told animals get put away about an hour before closing. I am not sure if that applies to all of them, since we still saw some animals out around closing time. We were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks, which was nice. They do have a few spots that sell food, drinks, ice cream, and other snacks, but they were a bit expensive for me. We did end up getting churros and shared them since they were really long and more than enough for my kids. Overall, it was a fun visit.

It's also a fairly large zoo with a lot of ground to cover and plenty of animals to see. That being said, I do feel like the quality of the zoo has gone downhill over the years which is why i awarded it 3/5 stars. There used to be far more exhibits and attractions consistently open, but over the past decade (possibly longer), it feels like every visit includes another closed exhibit, unavailable animal area, or ongoing renovation project. The recent removal and transfer of the Elephants of Asia made me especially sad, and even the petting zoo has remained closed for months now. Thankfully, not everything is negative. The zoo recently welcomed new chimpanzee, gorilla, and orangutan babies, which was genuinely exciting to see. Although I will say, for whatever reason, I feel like spotting the gorillas has become increasingly difficult every time I visit. But hey... if i was a gorilla, id avoid loud crowds too. lol. My personal favorite attractions are still the seals and the reptile exhibit. The zoo is definitely still a good place for families, especially if you have young children, but I highly recommend checking the weather beforehand because it can get HOT. There's decent shade throughout the park, but not many indoor areas with AC. My husband and I usually prefer visiting on weekdays because the traffic and crowds are much lighter. I also strongly recommend getting the membership if you plan on visiting more than once because honestly 2-3 visits practically pay for the membership itself. Plus, having a membership lets you take your time exploring instead of trying to rush through the entire zoo in one exhausting trip. If you need a break from the heat, the reptile house and wombat room are great places to cool down. Just keep in mind that the reptile room is pretty small and fills up quickly, and sometimes the wombat room is temporarily closed. There are several food spots and snack stands throughout the zoo, but honestly I usually prefer grabbing food from the vendors outside the park afterward. You'll typically find tacos, hot dogs, elotes, quesatacos, and other Mexican food options. Most of them also accept Zelle or Venmo now, which is convenient if you don't carry cash. One huge plus: parking is free and there's thankfully a lot of parking available. And this should probably go without saying, but wear comfortable shoes because there are definitely areas around the zoo with a decent amount of incline. By the end of the visit your calves will have their own testimony service. However, they do have electric wheelchairs available by the zoo entrance for those who don't want to brave a roundtrip off the zoo on foot.

Close to the 134 and 2 freeways. Use the bathrooms in the restaurants. Was charging at 149-150 kW as my peak speed and got down to 37 kW at the slowest and toward the end of the charge. My only gripe here is the car traffic with the In N Out burger drive-thru.

Underground parking is free, but limited spaces. Plenty of EV parking spots though. There's metered street parking. Several places to sit outside of the library which is nice. When you enter the library, you can either take the stairs or elevator. Layout of the library is nice and cozy. LOVE the computer area!! I feel the layout here is more private compared to the Los Feliz Library. There are also much more computers to use here compared to the Los Feliz Library!! Very clean. Fairly quiet except for the occasional toddler. Only two stalls in the restroom, but it's clean. Interesting that there's a mirror next to the water fountain. Interesting looking book drop. When you see it, you will know what I mean.

It has been a while since I'd gone there, up until last night around 6:30 pm. We didn't go out to dinner, but had few things from their cute stands that sell coffee, pretzels, and ice cream. Sat outside to watch the water show that comes on every hour. It is SO beautiful, refreshing on any day, especially during evening time to closing time. They have variety of things to do there. There is everything for everyone to keep them busy. It's breathtaking and just simply wonderful & green all around you. Some of the great places to dine are the Cheesecake Factory, an Italian restaurant called Amici. They have fine, delicious Italian food. Have been there few times, and once on a date. They gave a 2 spirit Barnes & Noble for book lovers, an AMC movie theatre that used to be Pacific Theaters, A Seabutter Sushi restaurant that is very good and romantic with patio seating. They also have the Mexican restaurant Frida.. Just to name a few of their iconic, yet high end businesses. You can walk, take the trolley, take your dogs for a walk, and simply enjoy the fresh air. Their Christmas lighting ceremony is MAGNIFICENT!! Must see!!! I am glad we were able to go there again last night and had a FANTASTIC time!! Service is on point. They are always cleaning the place, plenty of restrooms to use, spotless clean, and you can find parking anywhere in their parking structures and outside. Whatever that you do and spend time and money on, is valuable and SO worth it to me and so many others. 10/10.

I know I can always rely on my food being fresh at this store. I know all meat and fish is sourced sustainably and is fresh. Sometimes when I feel lazy to cook I love getting their prepped family meals. It's a good value $27-$32 depending on the protein choices and it has soooo much food in it. And if you lucky to snatch one with 50% off coupon then it's a ridiculous price for an amazing meal. Oh and separate note of love goes to all the 50% off coupons for "soon to expire" foods , especially now when prices are skyrocketing. Also if something is ever not fresh, the return process is very easy. Staff mostly seem very nice and ready to help. Meat/fish department guys always ready to give a recommendation on how to cook chosen item if you ask them. We had to wait 10+ minutes (first time having to wait for a Supercharger) but we were easily distracted by our phones so it was fine. This one is right next to the Service center and dealership, so it is super convenient if you need to talk to an employee. However once off the freeway, there was a bit of a drive down San Fernando, which felt exponentially longer because of traffic, so plan accordingly. Ikea is practically next door. Ralphs and CVS are also right behind the wall, in case you are an out-of-towner who needs to replenish supplies.
