First - no one should pay for parking if you're strictly charging your car. They should have validation available (even through the app if they're concerned about people not legitimately using the charging stations). Second - with only three cars charging, it was SUPER slow. If I'm paying a premium to charge on top of paying for parking, it should be fast. Third - ZERO signage to help find the charging stations. You confuse it with the first level chargers for residents/showroom use. read more

There are pros and cons to this Supercharger. The pros are that you can shop at The Americana at Brand while charging, and that this is a pretty convenient place for a charger. A bonus pro is the really nice view of Glendale and LA from the garage! The cons are that you do have to pay for parking here, and also that the chargers here are the smaller, slower ones. It was a great spot for us to stop at. Note: the garage entrance is under/next to the Cheesecake Factory. You pay $2 for first hour. It is not free. Be careful driving around. You'll go to the 7the floor then you can elevator down to the main area. There's an amazing public bathroom situation on the ground floor. Worth a stop if you need. read more

First time charging here. Coming up the winding driveway up made me a little nauseated. This is on a day where it's not too packed. I can't even imagine how it is on the busy weekend. Cars Merging non stop etc. kind of stressful getting up here. On a Tuesday with covid 19, there wasn't a lot of cars charging which I was thankful for. Again, it's not that convenient being located on the 7th floor. I would rather choose another charge station if it's a pit stop and it isn't for shopping purposes. read more

Absolutely the worst charging station location I have ever been to. No signage anywhere to indicate where it is located. So many Tesla drivers are trying to find this same spot I am. This is a VERY busy Tesla Supercharger spot. It is somewhat hidden on the 7th floor of The Americana at Brand Shopping Center parking garage. Don't be confused by the private building valet Tesla chargers on the first level! Personally I prefer this mall over The Grove since they have many of the same shops but it is less chaotic. I do like that there is a Nespresso Boutique, Philz Coffee and Sprinkles Cupcakes within walking distance. My issue was that it is such a popular charging spot that my car wouldn't fully charge to the trip mode set at 100%. That required me to return to the car and plug it in again (the app button to start charging doesn't work for this). The other downfall is whether or not you come to shop or just charge it is $2 for the first hour. Otherwise pretty decent and fast chargers. read more

Nice charging station area at the mall, but there are some flaws about it. Cons: 1) No signs in the parking lot! FYI - grab a ticket and go to 7th floor! If your using navigating to the place it doesn't guide or tell you that. However, it tells you when you tap on the charging station description (found out later), but when you're navigating from 2 hours away and in the middle of driving, to see that small font and remembering when you get there ain't gonna happen... Story time: -Spent 20 min trying to find the charging station after a long drive from NorCal. Since I'm not from the area, I would have never known where the station was until I asked security who was luckily around at 2:30 AM!! As I drove into the parking lot, I see Tesla's parked on the 1st floor and I thought sh*t, how do I get into there as I'm stuck grabbing a parking ticket to get into the parking lot (I find out later that's where the STORE keeps their cars to charge). A very busy charging location, combined with low max charging speeds and paid parking leads to a subpar experience overall. The fact that you have to pay to access the chargers and on top of that, have to pay for the charging, it's simply bad practice. I get that it's an urban supercharger and most of the urban locations are located in facilities that have a fee, but one would have thought that Tesla could have found a place that didn't require a fee to access, like the Glendale Galleria? Also, the urban superchargers are 72kW max so it's not a fast charger and while it's nice to have facilities to access while you charge, this location has a tendency to have Tesla's left on the charger after charging has completed, which is annoying. Overall, this was not the best thought out location for Tesla in this city. read more

This station is always packed with a long line. I try to avoid this station as much as possible. It would be great if you manage to get a spot. There are so many things you can do while charging. This location probably needs to add at least 20 more stations to be more practical. This is located on the 7th floor. Get a ticket first to gain access. 1st hour is free. Then they charge. read more

There are no signs telling us where the superchargers are and we drove around for over 30 minutes. Finally I randomly came to Yelp to get more info and read in the reviews that the charging stations are tucked away on the 7th floor AND we have to pay to enter the garage.... Such a terrible experience out of all the stations I've charged at across california. And NO, I will not be shopping at the galleria. I want to get out of this hell hole asap. read more

Tesla station is conveniently located inside America mall which is a huge plus. I love it here. Problem is it takes forever to charge. At best you can charge at 200 per hour at best. Service station is not very well maintained and always issues here. I rather drive to Pasadena or Burbank even though I love two minutes away from here. Don't know why they don't just fix it. Not the best maintained supercharger. Has been having issues for the last 2-3 months at least. Stalls charge slowly at 28kW or stop charging completely during the session. Long lines after 5pm and before 9pm daily, so come early or late if you need to charge. Parking is only 60 minutes free and is not always enough to cover a full session. There are level 2 chargers on the lower levels of the structure if you need use during peak hours. I come at least once a week and the above hasn't changed for the past several months. According to the store employees, Tesla service has been out to fix them but they get broken again pretty regularly. read more

I charged here once and it was kind of confusing given where my navigation said it would be. It's on the 7th floor of the Americana parking, NOT Glendale Galleria. It will also cost you $2.00 when you exit the parking lot. They no longer give you the first hour free, it is $2.00. If you're looking to eat or shop a bit and don't mind the parking fee, it's fine. However, if you're not in a time crunch, there's EV outlets in parking lot B of the Galleria that are free for use. I saw several while looking for the supercharger, but just know parking in that lot is usually pretty busy. read more

These superchargers are located in the Americana parking lot on the 7th floor. There are a lot of them so non-peak times usually fine finding a spot but evenings and weekends this place gets crowded and may be full. Parking here used to be free for 1 hour, not anymore first hour is $2, some stores/restaurants will validate with purchase so an extra fee just to use the chargers. Nearby chargers in Burbank have no parking fee in that structure. read more

Poor signage for where the supercharger actually is... accidentally went to the Tesla dealership by mistake. There's a $2 parking charge just to enter the garage, which is total BS considering that this is the equivalent of a random gas station for Tesla drivers. The chargers are on the 7th floor, so you have to drive up a spiral forever just to get there. Between this and the $11 mandatory valet for the supercharger in DTLA, this is completely unreasonable and unsustainable. Terrible customer experience. read more

My husband and I disagree in the rating. I say 1 star and he said to at least give 2 stars since there are amenities, BUT ridiculous location. 7th floor of a parking garage so not really accessible to get to. 2 stalls weren't working and there was a long line of Teslas waiting as non electric cars were coming and going making it difficult to get out of the line to leave the dang station because the wait time was not reasonable. Always found a stall - admittedly go out odd hours. Still a novelty to me. Just need to avoid dropping a few bucks too many at the Apple Store, Pain a Quoitien or J.crew while waiting. Very convenient. Never had any technical issues. read more

No signage for chargers. They are on P7 btw. Also, you have to pay a parking charge to use the charger FYI. Once settled, you can elevator down to ground floor and are then in a nice outdoor mall experience. read more
