My fiancé and I were facing an eviction during COVID and didn't have a ton of extra money due to the fact both of us were laid off from our jobs. The unemployment process was a nightmare,,, which has caused us to fall behind on our rent. We have been paying on time for over 7 years and can not believe we were facing an eviction due to a short lapse in payments. After our landlord threatened legal action,,, we reached out to tenant help. The initial phone call was great and informative. We never felt pressured to sign up with their services. Tenant help was able to get Roger (one of their attorneys) to send our landlord a cease and desist letter. This seemed to do the trick! Since then, Tenant help has checked in with us a few times,,, but then they started demanding extra money from us,,, which is why I am leaving 4 stars. I hired the attorneys at this company awhile back to to assist my daughter when she was having to leave her previous rental property because she lost her job. I will say that the folks at this company got us what she legally deserved, but that did NOT make the process easy for me. Being almost entirely across the country from my daughter I worry about her and I wanted to be sure I hired helpful attorneys who could provide her reassurance in a stressful time and I do not feel like customer service is a strong suit here. HOWEVER, Tenant help did get the job done and managed to reach the best outcome in a difficult case. I just wish they were more friendly in the process. Like others have said, I too have had a bad experience with eviction stopper. I keep getting endless bills but they didn't fully win my case. I got evicted but they are still trying to bill me. As if times aren't already difficult, they started to threaten to take me to court! If I was evicted because of a slumlord, why do you think I can afford to pay your invoices and late fees?? As much as I would like to give this place a good review... I simply can not do that. My experience with Tenant Help was TERRIBLE. Let me explain: I called their office last Wednesday for a free consultation. Someone by the name of Mary answered the phone and was rude right from the start. It's like she didn't want my business. Once I was finally able to speak to an attorney, he assured me that they would be able to take my case and get it handled without any issues. You know what they say...if it's too good to be true... So I pay them and am super excited to get their help. Welp... I didn't get their help. They have completely ignored me and took my deposif... not cool. Ive never met a lawyer that I liked or trusted and this place might be the worst one that further proved to me that legal professionals should not be trusted. They were totally unconcerned with my case and didn't even try to make me feel like I mattered to them. I had a very good experience with this firm, my coworker had recommended them to me and I called and spoke to the secretary about setting up a consultation to discuss my situation. When I met Tommy, he showed me how skilled of an attorney he was with his vast knowledge of landlord tenant law in Nevada. He has lots of experience representing clients and getting great results for them. I ended up receiving an invoice for over $5000 and I thought it was high at the time but I went with it because things were going so well with my case. It was only months later that I realized I had overpaid and could have gotten the same end result without being charged so much. I'm not mad, quite frankly it was worth the expense but I would still advise other yelpers to do the research so they can make aure they're not overpaying for an attorney who probably exceeds what they need. read more

These people don't have a clue what they are doing. All they want is your money. I paid them every dollar I had. They would even call me on my payday to let me know I owed them more cash.
