The nice lady on the phone said they should be at my home to do the service "between 9 & 11 o'clock." From past experiences with repair contractors, that usually means anytime AFTER 11:00, if at all. Well, at 8:45, they were knocking on my door! That's worth 3 stars right there! The guys who showed up were friendly, professional and extremely efficient. They practically took the whole lift gate apart because they "wanted to make sure they got out all of the loose glass." Within a little over an hour, it was done. Beautiful, pristine glass! All the loose, tiny, TINY pieces of the removed glass vacuumed up and out of the cargo area. AND, a big can of their own glass cleaner sitting in one of my cup holders! Now how's THAT for service?!? No matter what my glass needs will be in the future, you can bet I'll be using Binswanger! And, all my family, as well as any of my friends who ask will be, too!

Not "if you look closely." Massive. I had to point it out myself and tell them to get a better piece. Quality control, apparently, is optional. After the replacement, the window rattled loudly, so I made the mistake of going back to the shop expecting it to be fixed. They did come outside -- progress! -- and then the guy simply looked at the glass. No taking the door apart. No checking inside. No attempt to address the very obvious noise. Just a quick visual inspection, like he was admiring his own work. When I asked for it to actually be repaired, I was told I was "coming at them." Right. Because expecting a window without scratches that doesn't rattle is apparently unreasonable and hostile. So to summarize this flawless experience: * Tried to install scratched glass * Needed the customer to catch it * Left the window rattling * Returned visit = staring contest, not a repair * Blamed the customer for wanting it fixed If you're looking for scratched parts, sloppy installs, wasted time, and gaslighting instead of accountability, this is the place. If you want competent service, basic professionalism, or a window that functions like a window, go anywhere else. One star is generous. Avoid.
