Beginning the downhill slide on the other side of 40, is starting to take it's toll. I find myself…read moremore forgetful, distracted, irritable and tired. Add the lovely night sweats and mood swings to that and I'm not exactly feeling all warm and fuzzy about life. So I decided to take a friends advice and have a hypnotherapy session for relaxation, confidence and overall balance. My friend recommended Patti Nelson who works out of a hair salon and Day spa in oregon City called Heidi's. I was pretty skeptical about the "hypnosis" thing (I don't think I'm really able to be hypnotized) but I was looking forward to relaxation, reflexology and any balancing that could be done on my aura and meridians. Patti offers her services in this cute little "hut" behind Heidi's salon. Its cozy and comfortable. I won't go into great detail about what actually took place in the session (and that's not because i don't remember much due to being hypnotized). When it was done I felt lighter, a weight on my chest and shoulders had been lifted, I felt GOOD. In the weeks to come I experienced a flood gate of inspirations for work and business plans. I really think it helped me get back into a good groove rather than the rut that I'd been stuck in. So if you ever considered trying hypnotherapy (more of a state of relaxation rather than what you picture hypnosis to be) look Patti up and give it a try.
