Very thankful to have found this pool this summer. It's only $8 for adults to get in which I think is fair. In addition to all of the slides, fountains, obstacle course and giant pirate ship for kids, there is a decent lap section as well. We enjoyed just hanging out by the pool and cooling off on these hot summer days. Luckily it wasn't too crowded when we went so we were able to score some chaise lounges, but if it were to have been much more crowded, seating would have been limited. There are a few picnic tables by a sand volleyball court but other than that, not much room to sit down or bring a picnic. I knocked a star off my review because the bathrooms were filthy (not that I expect stellar cleanliness in a public pool bathroom).

It was not busy at all when we came which made it so much more enjoyable. Great pool for toddlers! Tons of life guards. Totally recommend!

$1.50 kids, $2.50 adults, awesome kids play area and a big slide for older kids. What more do you want?

The pirate ship and how you can go from the shallow part to the big pool is a nice transition.

Cat Hollow Pool is like the San Antonio Spurs of neighborhood pools. It's not the newest or the flashiest pool. It's just a damn good pool. Cat Hollow Pool has clean cool water. It's not dirty or over-chemed. It is seldom over-crowded. The grounds are well-maintained. Open hours are very generous (open until 9 pm almost every night), and the pool is well-staffed with a crew of lifeguards. My toddler enjoys the shaded kiddie area, and my little guys enjoy the deeper sections and small water slides. The annual pass for a family is a bargain, Perhaps it would be nice if Cat Hollow had a bigger, windier water slide or a zero-entry pool for the kids. Maybe a few more splash pad features or a reliable snack and drink machine would be cool. That said, as far as water-filled holes in the ground go, this one is pretty darn good.

Also, we usually have an issue with crowds but we really didn't notice that here. The two slides they have are awesome, the kids love it here. I love the fact that they have a shallow area for the little ones. Unfortunately, arm floaties are not allowed but they have life vests available which is AWESOME!

Its a bit hidden right by a playground and dog park. This summer we had her taking lessons for the Preschool class early on in the summer and a couple of weeks ago completed the Advanced Preschool. Swimming lessons were through the Rec Center schedule. If you or any family members are thinking of doing swimming lessons, I highly recommend taking the courses as they take place here. The instructors were friendly with all ages and took such great time and patience especially with the preschoolers. There are two pools at the Lake Creek Pool. One large one...I'm not quite sure the depth but there is also a kiddie pool off to the side which has a cover over it from the sun..which was maybe a little over a foot in depth. Off to the side there are a handful of picnic type tables and several lounge chairs off to the side. There is a huge tent over the picnic tables but other than that, there is no shade. For just playing in the water and to swim, this place isn't too bad if you aren't looking for water slides or anything. Just a place to swim, hang out and cool off.

You can bring in your own food and drinks (no alcohol-boo!) which is great since they don't have food items or snacks for sale. It's only $2 to get in which seems like a steal for any activity whatsoever these days, being that everything ever to do is hella expensive. This pool is nothing exciting. It's great for swimming and has a nice big deep end of diving without the board. It also has a nice shaded kiddie pool for my little one. There's no trees or grass to relax in if you're looking for that. The bathrooms are usually pretty gross. Fortunately, I don't have to use them often. They could pick up the TP off the ground- that'd be cool.

It has a bi grill great for cooking tons of hotdogs or hamburgers at once. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Only downside is pool. They allow the Brushy Creek Marlins to lease the pool for the summer "home" swim meets which I feel is very generous considering the microphone and speakers carryover the noise throughout a sizable area. The winter swimmers the Brushy Creek Sailfish use the pool too. Not near as many and not much conflict as even though the Texas winters can be mild the area isn't near as busy. Not sure if the homeowners will see this post but as the Mimi of a 10 yr. old (that has been with the team since she was 5) I wanted to issue a personal thank you I hope the relationship continues for many years to come! I need to mention the actual neighborhood. Rarely have I toured a neighborhood where it's hard to find a visible mix of homes where the owners aren't fond of yard work and it shows. Or even though there is an HOA -owners are frequently allowed to break the rules. Not here at Sendero Springs. No unsightly anything!!! Regretfully, a move is not in our future or I'd be house hunting here!!!
