This place is absolutely amazing. First of all, there is something for every age group and swim skill - a wading area for littles, a 2-4 foot deep area for medium-range swimmers, and a 6+ foot deep area for strong swimmers and adults. There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. I love that he has his own space/water area that he can splash in, with some water depth, but it's not a typical splash pad that just has water spraying from the ground. Very thankful to have found this pool this summer. It's only $8 for adults to get in which I think is fair. In addition to all of the slides, fountains, obstacle course and giant pirate ship for kids, there is a decent lap section as well. We enjoyed just hanging out by the pool and cooling off on these hot summer days. Luckily it wasn't too crowded when we went so we were able to score some chaise lounges, but if it were to have been much more crowded, seating would have been limited. There are a few picnic tables by a sand volleyball court but other than that, not much room to sit down or bring a picnic. I knocked a star off my review because the bathrooms were filthy (not that I expect stellar cleanliness in a public pool bathroom). read more

Brought my grandson here on July 25. It was a little crowded, but overly so. Was able to find a lounger fairly quickly. Everyone was polite. Once a few daycare/camps clearned out it was much less crowded. Lifeguards were a little lackluster so I kept a close eye on my kiddo. He's 7. Pool had leaves floating about, but otherwise clean. I think this is a good place to take the kids if you have younger ones. They have a slide that goes really slow, a large pirate ship, lily pads to try and cross, fountains that squirt water, a large shallow area around the pirate ship, which all seem to work well for the younger age groups. Not a lot to do here for older kids and definitely doesn't compare to Rock n River. There is ample parking here and the pool area is spacious which are big pluses. The bathroom situation is probably the biggest problem. In the men's bathroom, there is 1 urinal and 1 toilet. I'm not sure how the city thinks that will suffice for a public pool. read more

It's a good place to bring the kiddos. Some areas within the main pool space can get a little crowded but it's not a big deal. Probably the best time to go when there is less people is right when they open. Price is good -- I paid $10 for myself and both my kids -- they take credit cards which is a BIG plus for convenience. Some things I've learned that you might want to be aware of -- apparently you can't bring inflatables, ie. Certain floaties for kids and/or space-eating inflatables -- you might want to call for a fact-check on that. If you have small kids who can't swim, they should stay in the areas that are safe for them. Also, you cannot use goggles that cover the nose -- you can only use goggles that protect the eyes. Seems picky but after some research, it seems the reasons for no inflatables (particularly floaties, I can understand the no to "space-hogs" -- the pool is just not large enough for those things) and no nose-covering goggles is because they are not considered safe enough for a public pool = less liable. They're just trying to keep the pool safe for all, but if you're someone who doesn't want to be told by teenagers that "you can't use that here" and feel insulted because you just got told by a youngster...now you know not to bring certain things. There could be more too, I dont know. :) Overall, it's a nice place for some family swimming. read more

I almost don't want to "Yelp" about this place because I don't want to put words out there to make this place any more appealing. This was our first visit but I can not wait to go back! This pool was soo fun! A wading splash pool with a pirate ship!!! Two slides on the pirate ship even!!! There is a water slide that is super fun, and plenty of room for my littles jump in and practice swimming. Plenty of room to get some laps in (I think round rock hs practices here) and even a super fun and tough (especially for the out of shape ) clothesline obstacle course. Lounge chairs in the shade and plenty of lifeguards reminding kiddos to walk and keeping watch. read more

I came in when it had 3or 4 summer camps come in, so it wasn't that grate of an experience. My son couldn't go on the 1 slide available, and it was so damn hot getting up there my feet were burning. Im sure if i go in another day it might be better. read more

Brought my son here for his birthday! Website said they were open 12-6 they did not open until 1pm so we with all of our guest had to wait for an hour for them to open. Lifeguards are on a bit of a power trip blowing the whistle constantly at the kids. I'm all for safety but geez let the kids play. We were pretty much the only people there as it is Labor Day weekend, they can see the parents are right there watching as well but still persisted to get on to the kids every chance they could. At the end of the party I discovered I was charged for every adult that entered just to drop their child off for the party WOW! In short, it's a decent pool and price but ran poorly. Good sized swimming pool with impressive water slide for the older kids. Younger kids have plenty of space to have wet fun. They'll let you borrow safety vest if you hand in your keys. Great way to burn 2-3 hours on a hot summer day. It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon, so I imagine its completely packed on weekends! read more

Took my kids here and it was not worth the money in my opinion it was extremely over crowded with rude people who don't look before they jump I was jumped on probably a good 4 or 5 times with no apology even after the life guard told them to stop and the popular pool where everyone was at was entirely to small the life guards blow the whistle at everything there's literally nothing to do but stand in the water unless you want to have the whistle blown at you my kids had a blast with the ship that was also over crowded with more unsupervised kids pushing each other and babies ... Just not worth the drive or money to me I'll stick to cedar park pools they seem to have their facilities under control read more

This pool is terrible! There are a bunch of teenaged lifeguards with whistles blowing left and right. The rules are out of control. First of all their toddler area with the big ship and toddler slides is for 8 and up! An 8 year old is much to big for this area. Then the large slide, which is SO slow, is 48 inches and taller. We have naturally short children and my 8 year old was 1 inch too short. Even though he could do laps and swim VERY well they would not allow him to use the slide. There are basically not many options at that point. There is NO shade, the ground is SOOO HOT that you naturally have to run to get into the pool from the chairs because it's pretty far away. But then they blow the whistle at you for running. We will NEVER return to this pool again. Stick to the Cedar Park, Williamson country pools, they are MUCH nicer and WAY more for you to do. This place needs to re-evaluate their rules ASAP! read more

Great cheap pool for lil and big kids. The water slide is great but you must be 48" high. I don't like the fact that you can't swim under the rope once you get off the slide. They should really rerope that area. Walking completely around on that hot pavement is no joke!!! We went on a Sunday with a 2 and 6 year old...great way to let them burn some energy! The pirate ship is a lot of fun for toddlers. The steps say "8 and older please"...had to laugh at that when I saw that. Clearly an 8 year old is too big...8 and under or under 48"would be more appropriate. The water obstacle is great for older kids. My son couldn't reach..and he stands at 44". We brought the lil orange floaty things that go on toddlers arms, which was not allowed. A life vest was available though. The life guards will get you for swimming under the ropes....but that pavement is really hot!!! And so slippery!! Be careful!!! Not enough shade....you'll have to grab the grass lines to find that...I saw people with coolers....it's a great priced pools for a summer afternoon...we'll be back for sure!! read more

I would have to agree with the low ratings. You have to be 48" high which is not stated on their website. As far as the obstacle course you have to be able to reach the rope from the beginning. My child was able to get across once from a lifeguard that either didn't notice or didn't say anything. Then, when returning to do it again was completely embarrassed by the lifeguard. I was not happy with the way I was treated when I spoke to the lifeguard. Rude teenagers. Then, when I spoke to the manager she was also very rude...and also a teenager. There are SO SO many other great pools in Round Rock and Austin. We will NOT be returning to this pool. read more
