We were left with horrible problems we had to fix because after many times we were told NO by their mistakes. They screwed up cabinets- particle board. Not even real, left stickers for months, writing everywhere. They did not fix the problems we had after completion. Plumbing overflows. Windows uneven. Floors coming up. They said "no not our problem anymore" absolutely ridiculous business. Chandelier they swore they'd fix and then David said fuck you because they messed up and were stuck. After I have MANY emails showing they'd fix THEIR fault of installing. The owner, David, attacked my husband because of his political views. He wrote things in our porta potty like a child about politics. He cussed my husband AND ME out many times. His family clearly knows he's a mess and tried hard but they were stuck between him and us as a client who provides them a living. David said incredibly harsh things to us and I have all emails. They screwed up our home and I regret everyday using them. I am grateful for OTHER contractors fixing everything. DO NOT USE GJ Gardener!!!!!!!

Our kitchen was outdated with a built in desk that was lower than the rest of the countertops and a bar height section of counter on the other side of the sink. We had him add an extension on top of the built-in desk and cut the wall down to lower the bar height section of countertop as part of the project. We received bids from several other contractors and most others wouldn't even attempt to color match the cabinets for raising the desk area because they didn't think they could get the color close enough. Tracey did it without hesitation and the 4" wide spacer he built matches perfectly. He also suggested countertop and backsplash style and a few other options like sink and faucets to help us with the design. The countertops were cut and installed with precision and look stellar. They were also able to do all the countertops with only one seam in the entire kitchen. Pricing was reasonable and Tracey delivered on all of his promises; I couldn't have asked for more on this project. I will absolutely use Breakthru again for any future cabinet or countertop work and recommend them without hesitation.

I asked 10 roofing contractors to come out and give me a price on Owens Coring Duration Designer with peel/stick water barrier. 1-John Scott does his own estimates and goes over all the points needed for a successful roof replacement, prep, warranty and answers all questions, no pressure. ***THIS INCLUDES the signed statement he has paid for materials. WHAT THIS MEANS you will not get a lien on the products installed if the roof company fails to pay for their materials. 2-No down payment 3-Uses their own license (yes this is a thing-some contractors pay to use others licenses) 4-The installers were professional, and cleaned up every nail. Our 2K SF roof was done in 1 day. Tear off, replace any rotten wood, prep, waterbarrier, and new shingles. 5-Price was the lowest even with a premium product. JS did not charge extra for the premium product either. Out of the 10 estimates: John Scott was the lowest, the second closest came in $600 more. His price point made sense based on the quotes I received. He also was able to put me on the schedule next day. He came out with his assistant on Nee Year's Day. Leonel did an AMAZING job repairing the stucco frame beneath my window. He then repaired stucco on a column behind the house. Leonel and his team did not rush through the job. They took their time and their attention to detail was fantastic!! His talent and efficiency were tangible in the results. I strongly recommend him and feel privileged to be his first review.

I took off work to make sure I met Hugo at the given time which was a Monday morning at 11:30. 9 minutes before his arrival he texted and said can I reschedule for next week?? Unfortunately I told him NO that that wouldn't work as I had openings where windows were removed and I didn't want the rain to come in. He then responded ok can I come later after 2:00?? Anxious and needing it done quickly I said yes that works. Went back to work and came back close to 2:00 and this time I didn't even get a text or any communication as to why he was a no show??? I had to reach out that evening when I realized he wasn't coming and once again he rescheduled. He finally showed up and spoke with my contractor and said he'd have an estimate right away, next day. Once again the guy dropped off the face of the earth and even after texting him countless times he has NEVER responded!! Do yourself a favor and go with a more reputable company that values there customers time and money.
