This week I had a bit of an internal struggle between this and another truck but before you know it I was placing an order and waiting for some wings and fries.The food didn't take long to come out and once i found a seat I bit into my first wing and I have to be honest, it was a little underwhelming. The chicken itself was juicy and very tender, but the chicken itself didn't really have any sort of flavour to it. Maybe I'm missing the point, but it was just lacking that little bit of something to really make them great. The fries were seasoned and actually really good and I most certainly finished those. I will say that the servings here are definitely pretty large and the six wings and fries will leave you unable to order from a 2nd truck. Because people can post whatever they like, even lies, and businesses and common workers can not defend themselves. I am sure too many innocent workers have been fired based on negative Yelp reviews and, yet, here I am writing a negative review. This is my second negative review, the first being Time Warner Cable (the most evil company on the face of planet). I had such a bad experience with Stuffed Chocolate. 8 days ago, on May 3rd, I ordered chocolate online and I paid for overnight shipping with cold gel packs so that the chocolate wouldn't melt. I read Stuffed Chocolate's online ordering recommendations and followed it to a tee. I was overnighting chocolate to a florist in California and I ordered in plenty of time so that the chocolate would arrive today, May 11th, Mother's Day. I got a confirmation email for my order and everything was exact on the order form. I wanted to treat my mom to something special; a beautiful orchid and Belgian chocolate. Yesterday, one day before Mother's Day, the florist called me and said she never received the chocolate! I contacted Stuffed Chocolate and they had a neighbor friend (very nice, by the way) answering the phones. The owners were out of town and the nice neighbor lady had no idea about my order since she did not work at the shop. The day before Mother's Day there was no one around to check on my order or tell me what happened to it. This is insane; a chocolate shop during the busiest weekend of the year and there was no one to help. Today, Mother's Day, I get an email from the store saying that my order was not filled. They said they sent me 2 emails with questions about my order and I did not answer them so they did not fill my order. What? I checked my trash and never did find any email from them. Also, I double checked my online order form and it was perfect. Stuffed Chocolate even had my phone number to call me if there was a problem. They never did try and contact me. I still don't get it. I went online, ordered something, and then I didn't get it and the business makes no effort to call or contact me. I am still waiting for a response from them. My bet is even though they advertised the product online they were out of stock. In the end, I still don't know why my order was never filled. Whatever happened to customer service? I buy and pay good money for something but somehow it's my fault that my mom did not get her Mother's Day present. Awful.
