I realize this is a chain but I've actually never been in this location or any other location for that matter. We stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Thai chicken salad and got the kale & apple slaw as a side. I know, kinda weird ordering a salad with a salad side but that's what I wanted. The Thai chicken salad was ok. Nothing special but the chicken was cooked properly so I appreciated that. The peanut dressing as a little too sweet for my taste but not awful. The kale and apple slaw was actually refreshing, without a heavy dressing. My husband ordered the strawberry balsamic flatbread,, a new item on the menu, with a side of jalapeño corn. He seemed to enjoy both. Also ordered a Sunrise sunset smoothie. It's made with strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice. I asked that they didn't add the extra sugar. I started coming into this location this past summer for açaí bowls as a quick lunch. The bowls have always been filled and goodness to the top. My last 2 visits (within 1 week) the bowls have been... lacking. maybe it is the way it is technically suppose to be made, but with giving a 10% tip at the register, and the final cost being over $15 I will not be returning. Also when I politely questioned a person behind the counter, all I got was "yes it depends on who makes it." and "sorry about that." Tremendously disappointing. read more

In Canada there's a smoothie shop called "Booster Juice" & I've been wanting to find a place like that over on this side of the border. It is the exact same & the quality of everything is amazing. What I liked about this smoothie cafe is the detailed info on how many calories each smoothie has plus all the extra added nutritional info, so you're aware if your choice is "dessert smoothie" or "healthy smoothie." My daughter ordered the ($6.25) mocha madness smoothie - 540 calories, 120 Mg sodium and only 5 G protein. Not too healthy! A sweet treat, she enjoyed it but only had half then, saved the other half for later. I took a sip. Too sugary for me! No thanks! If you want healthy - try the Detox Island Green smoothie (fresh spinach kale banana pineapple mango and ginger) and throw in some supplements (protein or collagen powders) or fresh ad-ins (ginger, fresh almonds, or oats, for example). I'll have to encourage her to get this one next time. Looked healthy, tasty and so lovely green! I'd also opt for the sides: sweet potatoes, jalapeño corn or the kale and apple slaw. I'm a boring mom. Daughter also ordered the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap. White flour tortilla (not the healthy wheat tortilla because that would be yuck according to her) wrapped with grilled chicken, black beans, pineapple, shredded cheddar, romaine, salsa and jerk sauce. It was tasty but portion size was a bit small. Price: $7.99. wrap was 590 calories. For a "light" lunch it's ok. She said she could've ate 2 of them! Total damage in calories for an afternoon snack: over 1100! Price: $16 plus change. I like the concept, tropical, light and healthy - but it's really all in your choices here. This is the second location that opened in the WNY area. The originally one opened over a year ago in Depew, NY. This location is a convenient location, sitting at the corner of the Tops/ Marshall's plaza on Transit & Maple Rd. Im sure it will do well next to Starbucks and HSBC bank. Stopped in today to celebrate their grand opening, and take part in the $1.99 smoothie deal. Im not sure if it was a one day thing or whole weekend. Ordered four smoothies in total, the wait time was 15 minutes, which could have been longer due to grand opening. Convenient, time saver for staff on generate ticket orders, not having to write out names of smoothies on cups, I'm sure saves time. Cheers to the speedy service and enough staff on for the grand opening. This chain is one of my favorites. Only reason for the 4 stars, no real crowd control or social distancing. Im sure this should change, once the location is open longer. Nice to see this location has outdoor seating, other location in Depew not so much. read more

Was in a mood for a smoothie. This was the closest spot on Google maps so I decide to give it a shot. Really cool atmosphere! I ordered a Bahama Mama smoothie lol. When I received my smoothie it was much larger then what I expected it to be. It was the size of an extra large milkshake. The flavor was amazing . I was completely full after drinking 3/4 of my cup. The service is quick but the people are not very outgoing, they only talk to each other and not us customers. Like please pay attention to us!! We want to feel welcomed!! The lighting is nice for such a small space. The food is just freezer food cooked in under two minutes (I know that because I used to work here). The smoothies have been getting worse, I used to like them but now they're just getting so soupy! A bunch of teenagers running the place with literally no real management. Did they forget the recipe? Maybe they need a refresher. We ordered a mango smoothie, whose ingredients are supposed to be mango, pineapple, and a yogurt base. We didn't look while the server was doing the mixing (why would we?). We could identify pineapple and ice in the result; in other words, no base, no smoothness. I absolutely adore this place! They workers are so nice and the smoothies are sooo good. I was just there and accidentally picked up the wrong order. A sweet girl called me on the phone after I left and goes "Hi you accidently picked up an order from a half hour that wasn't picked up, I wouldn't drink that if I were you I have your drink right here please come back at grab it" and I was like wow I have never known a worker of any place to call a customer and let them know it was the wrong drink. I am so glad that I chose to walk into the Cafe in Williamsville. When you initially walk into the place you are greeted in such a friendly welcoming way. Being my first time there I wasn't sure on what to order. The manager Julie was so helpful. It was the best smoothie I ever tried. The manager and staff make you feel like family. The environment was very clean. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Also I found out that they provide catering. A nice healthy alternative for the office. I don't mind if an employee licks her own cup, she didn't lick your cup so no mistakes made. Great smoothies! A lot of the negative reviews have to do with sugar intake but it's really not that hard to ask for no sugar! Not everybody is sugar conscious!! The smoothies are HUGE and filled very full, definitely worth the extra price bump because of how large they are. A good place for a nice summer sweet treat. read more

We were so excited to try this place, but we were SO disappointed when we finally visited today! Two major issues; First, the smoothies are practically ALL ice, jam packed with tons of crushed ice and VERY little actual ingredients, and both the ones we ordered were the same. Second, they automatically add sugar to the smoothies, unless you know to ask for no sugar, which luckily I did after overhearing the customer in front of me do the same. When I ordered our smoothies, I asked that no sugar be added, and the response I received was that they could remove the sugar......so why not just not add it in the first place? Anyway, sadly while this new location is super convenient for me, I won't be returning. I guess if you're looking for a flavored ice for the summer, this might be a good option, but not for a real smoothie. read more
